She is just the girl

who loves watching the stars;

naïve and innocent.

So, how on earth can she do that?

Make my heart falter at the merest of smiles;

take my breath away as she gazed up the starry sky.

Pray tell me, how?

For while she sits there

wishing for a shooting star to come by,

I wish nothing but for that moment

to be frozen in time;

forever etched inside my mind.

She is just the girl

who loves watching the stars.

And these are just the thoughts

of the foolish guy,

 who loves watching the stars shine
