This is my new entry for at least two days of my internship under Qatar Airlines in Mactan-Cebu International Airport. During day one we were almost late during the briefing before the flight operation started. But lucky we are still able to listen to the flow of the flight, if there is a delay of arrival of the aircraft an expected one. As intern students we will listen to the Qr agents who report the flow of the flight. With the head of qr that is listening to them while us interns will observe and listen too. At 2:30 in the afternoon we will proceed to the check in counter and wait for the agents who are done with the daily meeting without the interns. We have different tasks or assign a location where we will stand, assist, answer questions and guide each passenger to the specific counter number they will go. The Qatar Flight usually takes 5hrs starting 2:30 We will stand while and once the qr agents are already seated to the counters. The agent will raise a hand, clue that the flight operation is started.

During my first day, I was assigned a special handle in the economy class line where only people who are pregnant, have infant/newborn, senior citizens and persons with disability who will fall in line. Since I'm assigned this line we are holding a bag tag for each passenger. The bag tag depends on how many luggage they brought. Each luggage has each bag tag. Once the operation is done, and all passengers are already in immigration. We will run to the other side of the airport to ask about the passenger if they have Qatar plane tickets which also indicate the # they are in line once the aircraft is ready on breading....

During day two, we are assigned to work in the admin office in quatar airlines. Which is lucky during this day the new stocks of bag tags, sticker roll etc that will be used every flight. We did unboxing, counting each box if it's correct pcs inside in each boxs once we are done doing that the admin told us to segregate the papers in order and lastly task for the day two is put a mark × in the scratch papers with a print while. Flip it and the back option is the new bondpaper that is ready to use

So yeah that's what happened for the two days of internship. While actually writing this entry it's already jan28, and I'm on the way to the airport ready to duty around 11am to 8pm. As a tourism student you need to be strong, positive mind , full focus with this kind of workplace. As for me it's really my dream to work in the airport after I graduate.
