Daylight shines through the window, it shines down on Spike's face, he gets slightly annoyed by this, he got up and notices something, he looks at both of his sides & sees Twilight & Starlight in their PJs.

Spike:*thinking* huh, looks like these two can't sleep alone, maybe they should a sleeping pillow to sleep with.

Using his skills, he quietly jumps out of bed and lands perfectly,

he grabs & put his unbutton shirt and shoes on, he then notices his wrists are small now.

Spike:*thinking* huh, didn't notice my wrists are getting smaller, *looks down* hm? these white shoes are nice, but i'm gonna need something nicer.

Spike makes the white emerald appear on his claw and thinks about the wish in his head, a bright appear around his shoes and they turn black but with the white color underneath and purple line over them, he then looks at himself in the mirror & smiles.

Spike:*thinking* aw yeah, this more like it.

As Spike was checking himself out, Twilight & Starlight starts to wake up.

Twilight:*groans* Spike?

Starlight:*groans* what time is it?

Spike: good morning girls, how was your sleep?

Twilight: good, sorry for....uh...sleeping with you.

Spike: hey, it's okay, i understand.

They both look at him in surprise.

Starlight: r-really?

Spike: yeah, you two probably don't have something to make you both go to sleep quicker.

Twilight: uh...um...y-yeah! yeah that's it!

Starlight: yeah, that's right! we just need something comfy to sleep on, hehehehe....

Spike: hm, that's fair, i think that the pillows we sleep on are softer than regular pillows.

Twilight & Starlight: yes! that's the answer!

Spike: alright, i know where the next dark orb is, let's go before anyone touches it and gets corrupted.

Twilight(T): whew, good thing his amnesia made him dense.

Starlight(T): sometimes amnesia can help with everyone's personality.

Spike and the two mares, who put on their clothes, head outside while the others are waiting for them.

Steel: ey boss, ready to kill some ass?

Rainbow dash: it's "kick", not kill, but that works too i guess.

Steel:*deadpan* you two definitely have something in common.

Rarity: oh Starlight, you look great in those new clothes i made for you! if you like i can—

Starlight raise her hand towards Rarity to make her stop talking.

Spike: alright, listen....the next dark orb is somewhere in that direction.*points to the east*

Pinkie Pie: wait! over there?

Spike: yeah, what's wrong?

Pinkie Pie: i know that place, it's called Rambling Rock Ridge, my family lives there at the rock farm.

Steel: rock farm?

Saber: your family runs a farm.....that works on rocks?

Pinkie Pie: *smiles* that's right!

Spike: okay, let's head there quickly!

The emeralds appear and starts circling around them.

Steel: alright, here we go!

Spike: CHAOS.....CONTROL!!!!

They all vanish from that spot and they reappear at the rock farm.

Pinkie Pie: welcome to my home!

Spike, Steel, and Saber looks at the farm and at Pinkie Pie.

Steel: you....were born here?

Applejack: ah understand you don't believe this, but Pinkie has been here since the day she was born.

Spike: and why did she leave?

Rainbow Dash: it was my sonic rainboom that did it, it made Pinkie smile for the first time.

Spike: oh yeah, Twilight told me that weeks ago.

Saber: wait! sonic rainboom? that's impossible.

Rainbow Dash: you heard of it? well, obviously, you never seen it, *smiles with pride* but if you want i could—

Saber: that's one of the three legendary speed boosts, never thought you could use it.

Rainbow Dash: yeah, it was—.......wait what?

Twilight: one of the legendary speed boosts? what are you talking about?

Saber: you see, according to my life-long research, the sonic rainbow is part of the top 3 speed boosts in the whole world.

Rarity: really?

Starlight: is that really true?

Saber: yes, and here's the crazy part, the sonic rainboom is third strongest boost in Equestria.

Rainbow Dash: alright! my rainboom is the strongest—!!! wait......THIRD!?!?!?!

Steel: man, *looks at Applejack* is her ego that big?

Applejack: ya'll have NO idea.

Fluttershy: so...what's the first & second boosts?

Saber: the second boost is called "the mega lightning charge", it's the second strongest boost, it's never been used because only a pegasus who can control lightning itself can use it.

Twilight: a pegasus that can control lightning? that's impossible.

Saber: indeed, that's what others say after hearing that from a unicorn who has the ability to see through the future.

Pinkie Pie: *gasp excitedly* really!? where is he?! can i ask him for my future??

Saber: you can't, he's.....gone.

Applejack: wait, ya mean....?

Saber: yeah, he has passed.

Steel: die of old age?

Saber: *nods*

Spike: wow.....that really.....sucks.

Saber: yes, but he did say something about the first one.

Spike: what is it?

Saber: it's called "the draconic inferno burst", the most powerful boost of all time, but only a creature with a fiery heart can use that ability, however, there is no creature who has that fiery heart.

Spike: huh, i wonder who would be the one to achieve it?

Rainbow Dash: no way! there's no way my sonic rainboom is in third place!!

Saber: i'm sorry for wounding that crazy personality you called "pride", but it's true.

Starlight: hey, can we please focus on the task at hand?

Spike: right, *begins sensing* i can sense the dark orb at that mountain far over there.

They all turn to a sudden knock and sees Pinkie Pie knocking on the door.

Pinkie Pie: aww, looks like my family isn't home.

Spike: good, cause we don't want them wrapped up in this, they could get hurt.

Suddenly, Spike felt shock in his head.

Spike: GAHHHH!!! *falls on one knee & grabs his head*

Everyone: SPIKE!!*runs to him*

Twilight: Spike! what's wrong!? speak to me!!!

Starlight: is it the dark magic trying to take over?!

Spike: no no no! it's not that, it felt like the next dark orb is.......being used.

Steel: being used? that means.....

Saber: this is bad, something or someone already made contact with the second orb.

Rainbow Dash: then we need to find this guy and take him out.

Spike: wait, what if this victim is actually innocent? Angel was a victim, why not the next one?

Rarity: Spike is right, we can't just kill them.

Saber: Spike, your...uh...beam is strong enough to take down the dark creature and free the little bunny, think you can blast the dark orb out of the next victim?

Spike: *gets up* yeah, i can knock the orb outta them.

Twilight: *worried* are you gonna be alright?

Spike: i'm fine Twi, i guess this dark magic has it's way of telling me if the other dark orbs are being used.

Twilight: o-oh...ok.....

Twilight turns around blushing and steam starts coming out of her head.

Twilight:*thinking* he called me Twi!! just like back then when he was younger, could it be that his memories are coming back or is it just in the back of his mind?!

Pinkie Pie: Twilight? you ok?

Twilight: i-i'm fine, Pinkie, i'm fine. *nervous chuckle*

Pinkie Pie: *confused expression*

Spike: hey, what's this? *picks up a note from the ground*

Saber: it's a note.

Steel: but to who?

Spike: it says "to Pinkie Pie."

Pinkie Pie: really? lemme see.

Pinkie Pie reads the note and becomes horrified.

Applejack: what's wrong Pinkie?

Pinkie Pie: my parents.....they're at the mountain!!

Everyone: WHAT!?!?

Saber: of all the rotten luck...!!

Steel: can we please have a easy job for once!?

Spike: listen! we need to get to the mountain before they get hurt or worse.

Suddenly, they heard hoofsteps coming from the side of the house, the stranger appears to be a grey skin earth pony stallion with a black mane, a cloak with a hoodie, ragged brown pants, chains as wristbands, and finally....bandages on his eyes.

Spike: uh.....who are you?

Rainbow Dash: listen punk, we have no time to deal with you, we need to stop a dark creature!

Applejack: Dash, we talk about antagonizing something or somepony we don't know.

The stallion raises his hand towards them and shakes his head slowly.

Spike: you....don't mean any harm?

???: hm.

Spike: wait, you want to help us?

???: *nods* hm.

Twilight: wait a mintue, Spike...you know what he's saying?

Spike: yeah, for some strange reason.

???: hm.

Spike: really? huh, didn't know that was possible.

Steel: what'd he say?

Spike: he says "only those with a great heart can understand me."

Saber: guess your heart is more pure than we thought.

Fluttershy: s-so....y-you'll help us get the dark orb?

???: *nods*

Rainbow Dash: are you sure we can trust this guy?

Spike looks at the stallion with a strong look, he then he gave the others a thumbs up.

Spike: he's ok, he won't do anything bad to us.

Starlight: are you sure?

Spike: yes, he doesn't look dangerous to us.

Pinkie Pie: but wait...what's his name?

The stallion looks away and scratches his head.

Saber: you don't have one?

Rarity: oh dear, we can't just call him stallion all the time.

Fluttershy: *walks up to him* um...what do you want to be called?

The stallion tilts his head to the left in confusion, meaning that he never once thought about what should he be name after, he then moves his hand up and down, like slicing the air.

Steel: what's he doing?

Saber: i think he's trying to tell us something.

Pinkie Pie: oh! oh! charades?!

Spike: it's like he's slicing something....wait a minute! how about the name...Slice!

Slice thinks about it and nods.

Steel: hm, Slice.....not a bad name.

Saber: yeah, for some reason, it suits him.

Spike: okay Slice, you can come with us to help, let's go!

Twilight: if we're calling you Slice, what is your real name and why do you have bandages on your eyes?

Slice: hm.

Spike: he says "once you figure out my real name, i will take off my bandages."

Steel: hmm, oh well, we'll figure it out later.

Spike: right, let's move!

Spike runs towards the mountain, Steel, Rainbow Dash, & Twilight flys after him, Starlight uses her magic to lift the others & herself up and Saber did the same to Slice and himself, then they begin to follow, on the way there, Twilight starts a conversation with Spike.

Twilight: Spike, i didn't know you can run this fast.

Spike: well, i was surprise too, i think this has something to do with the emeralds.

Twilight: is this is your full speed?

Spike: no, i'm holding back so all of you can keep up with me.

Suddenly, Rainbow Dash join in.

Rainbow Dash: so, after this whole "collecting the dark orbs" thing is over, can we have a race?

Spike: hey, Steel can give a race too, i mean, he did keep up with me when i was heading to the Crystel Empire.

Steel: yeah, i've been training myself since i was a colt, i don't know if there is anyone who can rival my speed, well...aside from Spike.

Rainbow Dash: well, get ready to be surprise buster!

Spike: his name is Steel, Rainbow Dash, get it right next time.

Everyone snickers while Rainbow Dash frowned.

Saber: hey look, we're already here!

They made it to the mountain, they saw a cave and enter through.

Spike: hmm, it's faint but i can sense five life sources here in this cave.

Applejack: ya'll can sense them?

Spike: yup, those who has magic can do it too, just needs a little training and practice.

Starlight:*thinking* whoa...he's learning magic better than i thought, if he keeps it up....

Twilight:*thinking* ...then he'll be a pro in no time.

Pinkie Pie: wait, five!? that means Maud must be here too.

Steel: how big is your family?

Pinkie Pie: oh, i have two parents and three sisters!

Saber: huh, nice family.

Steel: hey Slice, where did you get those chains?

Slice: hmm....

Spike: he says "i don't want to talk about it", don't try to get into his business, Steel.

Steel: sorry man.

Slice nods to Spike and he returns the nod.

Rarity:*gasp* look! gems and diamonds!

Saber: yes, and the deeper we go, the more we find.

Pinkie Pie: mom!? dad!? Limestone!? Marble!? Maud?! where are you?!

Starlight: hold on Pinkie, i can sense some dark magic here.

Spike: damn, that means whoever touch the dark orb, must of capture them and holding them somewhere in the cave, i know they're alive because i can still sense them.

Steel: it's best we keep our guard up, what if this dark creature we find might have trick to fool us or something?

Fluttershy: h-hopefully this dark creature doesn't do scary stuff to us.

Slice pats Fluttershy's head to comfort her, she was surprise at first, but she enjoys it a little.

Rainbow Dash: hey! Fluttershy doesn't like ponies touching her like that!

Fluttershy: no no! it's okay, Rainbow Dash, i really appreciate him doing that.

Slice: hm.

Spike: he says "you're welcome."

Spike moves his head up quick, because he can sense the five life sources close by.

Spike: Pinkie, i can sense your family up close.

Pinkie Pie: *gasp excitedly & runs* don't worry family, we're coming!

Steel: is she always like this?

Applejack: ya'll have no idea.

Spike: let's follow, quick!

Everyone runs after Pinkie and after a few seconds of running, they found Pinkie's pie family, unconscious & trapped in a small cave with large skinny rocks like bars with a dark aura holding them inside.

Pinkie Pie: hang on! we're gonna try to get you all out!

Spike: hold on Pinkie! these rocks are covered with dark magic, let me try something.

Spike points his claw towards the rocks and suddenly, the dark magic was absorbed by Spike & the rocks turns into dust.

Starlight: whoa, nice one Spike.

Twilight: you absorb the dark magic, are you ok?

Spike: i'm fine Twilight, thanks. *pats her head*

Twilight: *blushes* u-uh.....you're welcome.

Starlight gets a little angry for seeing Twilight getting affection from Spike.

Pinkie Pie: mom! dad! sisters! wake up!!

Igneous:  Pinkie Pie? uggggh....what happened?

Cloudy: last thing i remember was we were going to find some diamonds so we can sell them, but now, it's all a blur.

Limestone: ugh, feels like my brain just die on me!

Marble: mm-hmm.

Maud: that was completely terrifying.

Steel: *whispers to Pinkie* is she always emotionless?

Pinkie Pie:*whispers* what are you talking about? Maud's always filled with emotions!

Spike: ooookay, are the five of you alright?

Igneous: wait, i know you! you're that dragon Pinkie was about!

Cloudy: we heard that you were dead.

Limestone: whoa....you've been working out?

Marble: you've gotten tall.

Maud: Spike, i am glad that you are alive.

Spike: thanks, but tell us, who trap you all in that small cave?

Limestone: it was some sort of giant mole-like creature and it had that dark aura around it.

Cloudy: and it went that way. *points at another cave*

Saber: of course it was the work of the dark creature.

Steel: whatever this creature was must be a animal that can go through rocks easily.

Spike: we have to stop it before it does something dangerous and get that dark orb outta it!

Igneous: dark orb? dark creature?

Spike: ah, right...um....Pinkie, you explain to your family, Slice, Steel, Saber, with me, Twilight and mares, get them out of here.

Twilight: wait, you're going after it!?

Spike: what, you want to come with?

Twilight: yes! i don't want to lose you Spike!

Spike: Twilight, i defeated Angel when he was corrupted and that was easy.

Twilight: but what if this isn't easy? what if you'll get hurt?

Spike: uh...*points at his team & Slice* i have these three to help me?

Steel: wait, you want Slice to come with?

Saber: *thinking* sometimes you're too slow to react what Spike said.

Spike: i know we just met Slice, but i can tell he's strong and he seems good enough to trust, right Slice?

Slice: mm-hmm.

Marble gets a little surprised that Slice says her usual response.

Limestone: *gets infront of Slice* so....you new?

Slice: *nods*

Limestone: you're not much of a talker and you don't show emotions like Maud.

Maud: i'm standing right here.

Spike: ok, change of plans, Twilight, Starlight, you both are coming with us, all of you, get the pie family out of here.

Starlight: Spike, i think creature could be a Maulwurf, it's a mole-like creature that digs through the ground, it also has a thick hide, allowing it to shrug off magic blasts, even a large chunk of rock!

Spike: i see, come on, let's go.

They split up, the Mane 5 takes the pie family out of the cave, while Spike and his gang head deeper, as they did, Starlight explains how she knows about the Maulwurf.

Spike: i see, but with the dark orb, this thing has a thicker hide.

Steel: we'll see about that, once Spike hit him with that beam of his!

Spike: don't get cocky, this creature is dangerous, but now it's even more dangerous than ever, it's best we don't underestimate it.

Saber: Spike's right, we can't let that dark creature get the upper hand.

Starlight: hey...Spike?

Spike: yes?

Starlight: can i...um...hold on to your arm? i'm just a little shaken from the fact that this dark creature can jump on us any moment.

Spike: oh sure, that's understandable.

Starlight locks her right arm with Spike's left, she then looks behind and gives Twilight a small smug look, Twilight tries her best not to go into her raging fire form while she's making a piss off face and gripping her fists tightly.

Spike: hey Twilight, you're shaking...wanna hold on to me too?

Twilight: *snaps out of it* huh?! oh! uh...sure!

Twilight runs to Spike's right side and lock arms with him, she then got onto a glaring contest with Starlight who also glares back.

Steel: *whispers and smiles* are you seeing what i'm seeing~~

Saber: *whispers* yeah, looks like Spike just unknowingly start a spark between them.

As they were heading deeper, they heard rumbling, at first there was nothing...but then...the Dark Maulwurf came through wall and roars.

Dark Maulwurf: RRRRAAAAAGGHHH!!!!!

Starlight: whoa!!! it's gotten bigger and it has sharper claws now!!

Spike: girls...let me go...

Twilight & Starlight: what!? but—!

Saber uses his magic to teleport Twilight and Starlight from Spike to him, Steel, and Slice, Spike uses his magic to launch the Dark Maulwurf upward through the ceilings of the cave and all the way to the surface.

Spike: let's move! CHAOS CONTROL!!!!

They all teleported out of the cave and back on the surface, the dark maulwurf gets back on all fours.

Spike: alright you bastard, let's go! *aura charged up & runs at it*

Spike launches multiple attacks on the dark maulwurf stomach and kicks it up in the air.

Spike: Saber! hold him in the air! Steel! help me out here!

Saber & Steel: right!!

Saber uses his magic to froze the dark maulwurf in the air, while Steel flys up and carries Spike up to the sky and throws him to the dark creature & both of them begins attacking it, but the dark maulwurf body is too strong.

Steel: damn it! it's too hard, we need to find a way to make it's skin normal for us to kill it!

Saber: guys...i can't...hold it...any longer!

Spike: then throw him to the ground, hard as you can!! *jumps off of it and Steel grabs him*

Saber: prepare yourself!!! *throws it down*

A loud crash can heard a mile away as the Mane 5 and the pie family got wind of it.

Rainbow Dash: what was that?!

Applejack: looks like they're ready to throw down, we need to go and help!

Limestone: hey, i wanna come with!

Pinkie Pie: Limestone, you can't!

Cloudy: Limestone, listen to your sister, we got trap in there thanks to that creature.

Igneous: it was about to kill us later on, but if wasn't for Spike, we would've been eaten.

Limestone: grrr...

Marble: stay safe Pinkie.

Maud: and please don't get hurt.

Pinkie Pie: i pinkie promise!

Rarity: let's go ladies!

As they head their way, Spike lands back down to the ground after Steel flys down, Saber teleports to them and they all go into a fighting stance infront of the dark maulwurf as it starts getting back up.

Spike: hey Starlight, any ideas of how to stop it?!

Starlight: i do, but only on a NORMAL maulwurf!!

Steel: shit! now what?!

Slice starts running towards the dark maulwurf.

Spike: hey Slice, what are you doing?!

Slice extends his right arm to his right side, then suddenly, a scythe appears.

Starlight: what the!?

Twilight: a scythe!?

Saber: how did he do that!? is he magic!?

Steel: awesome!!

Spike: that scythe looks.....familiar, i think i seen it in a book before.

Slice uses his scythe to easily cuts the dark maulwurf's body, it begins to scream in pain, Slice looks back at Spike and nods.

Spike: oh! right, *gets into position* KA.....ME.....HA......ME.......HA!!!!!!!!!!

Spike launches his beam at the dark maulwurf, it screams in pain, but the screaming disappears and the only things that remains are the maulwurf, return to normal but i'm unconscious, and the dark orb.

Spike: alright, the second dark orb.

Steel: oh yeah! we did it!!

Saber: well done.

Slice: *nods*

Spike looks back at Twilight and Starlight and nods to them with a smile, they nod and smile back, Spike then walks up to the dark orb, grabs it and he absorbs it into his body.

Spike: woah, the dark magic in me has gotten a little bit stronger.

Steel: yo Slice, where did you get that scythe?

Slice: hm.

Spike: he says "i will tell you my story after you figure out my name."

Steel: seriously? ugh, this is gonna take a while.

Saber: hey Slice, is that scythe magic or something?

Slice: *nods*

Spike: hmm....you're a earth pony, but you have a magic scythe.....

Twilight: Spike! i want to know, are you hurt anywhere?

Spike: Twilight, i'm fine, in fact...that creature didn't get the chance to hit me.

Starlight: he's right Twilight, i'm worried about Spike too, but he can handle himself.

Spike: see? heh, but it's nice for you to worry about me you two, thank you. *smiles at them*

Twilight & Starlight both have blushes on their faces and turns around quickly.

Twilight: *blushing* i-i-it's n-n-no problem, Spike!

Starlight: *blushing* y-y-yeah! n-n-not a problem!

Spike: huh?

Rainbow Dash: that was awesome!!!

They all turn to Rainbow Dash and the girls.

Applejack: boy howdy! ya sure cut him real bad.

Rarity: such perfect cuts! you really show him, darling!

Slice scratches his face when he turn his head to the right to avoid eye contact.

Pinkie Pie: i gotta go tell my family about this, hey Rainbow Dash, can you give a lift?

Rainbow Dash: on it!

Fluttershy: um...nice job Slice.

Slice looks at her and gives her a thumbs up, his scythe then disappears.

Steel: whoa, so you can summon it anytime you want?

Slice: *nods*

Spike: let's go get Pinkie and Dash, then let's head back to ponyville.

After a while & after Pinkie Pie told her family, they teleported back to ponyville, but Slice also came along.

Applejack: hey, thanks for helping us Slice.

Rainbow Dash: yeag, guess i have a issue of trusting somepony like you.

Steel: but someone like you can be trusted.

Slice: hm?

Spike: he says "don't you mean somepony?"

Steel: and we responded with...

Spike, Steel & Saber: what's the difference?

Pinkie Pie: *gasp!!* i forgot! today's Starlight's birthday!

Everyone expect Spike, Steel, Saber, Slice, & Starlight gasp.

Starlight: whoa, i completely forgot about it.

Spike: well, let's everything ready, anyone in?

Everyone expect Slice: yeah!

Slice: hm.*nods*

Later at sugercube corner, everything is prepare, thanks to Pinkie Pie, Slice is with Fluttershy, Steel is arm wrestling with Applejack AND Rainbow Dash at the same time, Spike and Saber stands next to each other and talks.

Saber: so, can you sense the next orb?

Spike: no, i try sensing it again, but nothing.

Saber: i guess the orb will show up again some other time.

Spike: after this party, we're heading back home, Tina might be worried.

Saber: true.

Spike: by the way, there's one question i want to ask Slice of.

Saber: is about his magical scythe?

Spike: no, something very important, something that he can say no to if he wants.

Saber: okay, i wonder what it is.

Spike: *spots Starlight* i'm gonna go talk to Starlight.

Saber: *grins* good luck.

Spike walks up to Starlight, catching her by surprise.

Spike: hey Starlight, how'd you like your birthday?

Starlight: h-hey Spike, it's going well, i wonder what kind of cake Pinkie's gonna make?

Spike nods and heads to the kitchen, he then sees Pinkie Pie, with Carrot Cake & Cup Cake, getting the ingredients to make the cake for Starlight.

Spike: uh...hello?

Pinkie Pie: oh! Spike! sorry for making you and everypony wait so long!

Carrot: by Faust herself....Spike...you've grown!

Cup Cake: my my, you grown up to be a strong dragon, we heard from Pinkie that you fought some Diamond Dogs at Canterlot.

Spike: yeah, honestly...they were no big deal and i'm sorry, i don't remember you two.

Carrot: nonsense! you were amazing! and it's okay, the news about you having a case of amnesia is already send everywhere in Equestria.

Cup Cake: that's right, oh wait!! here, have this!

Cup Cake pulls a blue cupcake from the fridge and it's filled with blue gems.

Spike: oh! um....uh...well....you see...

Pinkie Pie: uh oh! i'm sorry Spike, i forgot to mention one more thing that Starlight told us after you, Twilight, and your friends left after what happened in Canterlot!

Carrot: what's that Pinkie?

Pinkie Pie: Spike can't eat gems anymore.

Carrot & Cup Cake: what!?

Spike: yeeeeaaahh.....long story short, it has something to do with the emeralds.*emeralds appears around him*

Carrot: whoa....

Cup Cake: so....you can't eat gems anymore?

Spike:*emeralds goes back inside* yeah, sorry that you have to make that for nothing.

Cup Cake: i-it's alright Spike, we could just...give to another dragon.

Spike: awesome, by the way, do you need some help?

Pinkie Pie: well, we need a extra pair of hands, or in your case, claws.

Spike: hmm....or maybe....magic claws.

Cup Cake: magic cla—?

Spike uses his magic to mix all of the ingredients together and in a bright flash, a Starlight theme cake is born.

Pinkie Pie: hey, that looks like the cake Starlight made long time ago!

Cup Cake: wha—how—what—huh!?!?

Carrot: wow!!! you can do magic now!? amazing! maybe you can help us make some quick business!

Spike: appreciated, but no thank you, this cake is for Starlight, wait a minute...Starlight made this cake back then?

Pinkie Pie: yeah, but Ms.Cake here got the wrong idea believing that Starlight was about to run her out of business.

Spike looks at Cup Cake with a stern look.

Spike: ......really? *small purple aura appears around him*

Cup Cake: w-well, it's just—

Spike:*aura disappears* say no more, you just an earth pony and i believe not many earth ponies are fans of magic & besides...i don't think Starlight had intentions to run you out.

Rainbow Dash: *outside of the kitchen* hey! where's the cake!?

Spike: oh shoot, c'mon Pinkie, let's go! *uses magic to lift the cake* nice to meet you....again!

Spike & Pinkie Pie head their way to where everyone's waiting at, Spike then sets the cake down on the table where Starlight is standing at.

Spike: happy birthday Starlight Glimmer.

Starlight immediately recognizes the cake and figuring out that Spike made it for her, she got so happy, she jump on him and kiss him on the cheek without thinking, catching Spike by surprise,everyone went wild and cheers for them, the gang was surprise, Steel & Saber grins, Slice gives a thumbs up, the Mane 5 have shock, surprise, mouth open faces, but Twilight.......her reaction is.....crushing her drink in pure rage and turning into her fire form, the other notice this and quickly got some water to put out & calm her down, Later...outside at night, Spike is looking at the stars, seeing how great they are.

Steel: Spike.

Spike: *turns around & sees his team and Slice* oh hey guy, what's up?

Saber: i told Slice about the question you want to tell him.

Spike: oh, sorry...i uh...

Steel: no it's cool, you forgot because Starlight give a reward~ *clicks tongue*

Saber: don't make it weird Steel.

Suddenly, the Mane 7 appears....

Applejack: now what in the tarnation is going on?

Rainbow Dash: are you gonna talk about something important?

Spike: yeah and.....Twilight? you okay?

Twilight: *deep breaths* yes Spike, i'm fine.

Spike: ok.......*turns to Slice* Slice, after showing how brave and strong you are, i have come with one question for you, you can say no to this if you want to, i'm not forcing you, but i want to hear your answer.

Slice tilts his head in confusion.

Spike: Slice...*reach his claw to him*...will you join my team?

The whole area was silent, no one made a move, the only thing that change was everyone's jaw drop faces, Slice looks at Spike's claw for a few seconds and to everyone's surprise and shock.........Slice grabs & shakes Spike's claw.

Slice: hm.*nod*

Spike: alright! *lets go of his hand* welcome to the team, Slice!!

Steel: yeah!!! whoo!!!

Saber: wow, we got a fourth member.

Pinkie Pie: this calls for a new teammate party!!

Rainbow Dash & Applejack: it's night time Pinkie.

Fluttershy: um....congratulations.

Rarity: my word, i didn't expect Spike will recruit somepony.

Starlight: did...not see that coming.

Twilight: well.... congrats on having a new teammate Spike.

Spike: thanks Twilight, now i believe it's time we head home.

Twilight: w-wait! you're not—

Spike: you forgot about Tina, did you?

Twilight: oh....yeah, that's right....sorry.

Spike: you know, if you want, you can come with me and sleep there again like you did for five weeks.

Twilight: really!? uh—i mean...um...*ahem* thank you Spike, i would like to.

Starlight: hey...uh..by any chance...can i come with?

Spike: i don't know Starlight, should you be taking care of the castle?

Pinkie Pie: don't worry, we can take care of it for her!

Spike: huh, that works, come on Starlight.

Twilight feels disappointed that Starlight is coming along.

Spike: we'll be back, CHAOS......CONTROL!!!

They disappear and reappear back inside the house, Saber and Steel explains the whole thing to Tina about Slice, the second dark orb, and Starlight's birthday, later on....Spike is resting on his bed, but he heard two hoofsteps and sees Twilight & Starlight in their PJs and look at him with sad eyes.

Spike: you two want to sleep with me?

Twilight & Starlight looks at each other and looks at Spike then they nodded.

Spike: okay.

Starlight rests on his left side and Twilight rests on his right side and just when Starlight was about to head to sleep, Spike pecks her on the head, catching her by surprise, but she smiles and drifts to sleep, Spike looks at the ceiling and thinks.

Spike: two down, five more to go, let's just hope that the next one is easy. *goes to sleep*

Spike has successfully got the second dark orb and got a new team member, will Spike and his team find the rest of the dark orbs before they cause damage or will it be the pony of shadows who will find them and regain his lost power? find out next time on A Dragon's Awakening!!!!
