Last time on A Dragon's Tale, Steel & Saber are looking for the next emerald, however, they found out, thanks to Saber, there's a threat coming to Canterlot, will Spike find the next emerald in the crystel caves? find out now!

Spike: man, how big is this place?

Discord: well, it's big as the mountain that has Canterlot on it.

Spike: okay, that's fair, the emerald keeps glowing brighter, it means we need to keep moving forward.

Starlight: hey Spike, i notice something when i hug you back at the castle.

Twilight clenches her fists tightly while keeping a normal face.

Spike: really? what is it?

Starlight: i didn't feel your wings, why are you hiding them?

Spike: wings? i have wings? i didn't see them when i saw myself in the mirror.

Twilight: what!?

Starlight: you don't have them anymore?!

Discord: that's very curious.

Spike: hold up, i used to have them? this is getting more......what was the word?

Discord: chaotic?

Spike: not what i had in mind, but let's go with that.

Twilight: but how did you lose your wings!?

Spike: i don't know, i sort of woke up this way.

Discord: guess we have another mystery to solve someday.

Twilight: could it be that this is the emerald's doing?

Spike: that's a working theory right there, Twilight, though i doubt we'll get the answers in a couple of days.

Discord: besides that, i'm surprise that you're resisting the urge to eat these crystels, Spike.

Spike: oh....right, didn't mention that one, you see....i taste some gems at Tina's home & they taste like mud & dirt mix together, it was nasty.

Flurry Heart: blah!!

Spike: oh, so you agree with me?

Twilight: OK!!! THIS RAISES MORE QUESTIONS!!! SPIKE, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU?!?!?

Spike: Twilight! *gently places his claws on Twilight's cheeks* calm down, i'll explain everything about what happened when i woke up, okay?

Twilight: *blushes* u-um.....s-sure.

Spike: *lets go of Twilight* ok, so....it starts when i was looking at bright light in a black void....

Back at the surface, Saber & Steel are fighting off these three new foes.

Steel: these guys are diamond dogs!!

Saber: yes, but look at them, they look different.

Steel: their skin color looks a bit pale and they have magic.

Saber: come on, we gotta keep fighting or they'll destroy Canterlot!

Suddenly, Steel hears steps coming from behind.

Steel: hm? *looks behind him* what are you all doing here?

Applejack: we're here to help.

Rainbow Dash: obviously!

Saber: i don't know, these new diamond dogs are stronger than ordinary diamond dogs.

Steel: and they possess magic.

Celestia: i wonder who gave them magic.

Luna: but nevermind that, we must rid of these beasts before all the creatures of Equestria comes!

Saber: uh oh, brace yourselves!!

The three magic-fied diamond dogs jump towards them to fight, back with Spike in the crystal cave....

Spike: ....and i found the castle on the other side of Ponyville and, well, the rest is history.

Twilight: whoa, so much has happen to you.

Starlight: it seems that you really like that village, even after what you describe of it.

Discord: but what's got me more curious is about that dream of yours, eyes with golden pupils with red marks and stripes on the eyelids? i feel like i heard something like that a long time ago, hmm.....

Flurry Heart: bah, bah!

Spike: hm? what is it, Flurry?

Flurry points her little hoof towards the emerald.

Spike: whoa, the emerald's glowing has stop glowing brighter.

Starlight: could that mean that the next emerald is near us?

Flurry Heart flys out of the pouch and looks around, Spike looks around as well & sees something on the wall that shines white.

Spike: i found something!

Twilight: let me help! *uses her magic*

Starlight: here, let me get the other. *uses her magic as well*

Spike: thanks girls, now pull!!

As they started pulling the emerald out, Discord sense something above.

Discord: hm? *looks up*

Flurry Heart looks up as well, curious of what Discord's looking at while still flying next to him.

Spike: it's coming!!

Finally, the white emerald pops out of the wall and Spike caught it, but when he did, a flashback appears.

(Flashback)

Spike: okay, just need to get to the crystal empire & see if Cadence can figure out what this emerald is.

After a moment, Spike notice the train is quiet, aside from it still moving.

Spike: huh? *looks around* where is everypony? hello? anypony here? okay, this is freaking me out, i need to get to the front of the train.

Spike makes his way to the front, on the way, he notice there's no pony else there either, he begins to panic, he made it......but to his shock & horror, there's no pony driving!!

Spike: what the—!? where's—!??

He was cut off by seeing something outside of the moving train, through the window, he sees a boulder coming right him, at the moment the boulder hit the train, the flash of white appears.

(End of flashback)

Spike: *GASP!!* *exhale & inhale repeatedly and sits down*

Twilight&Starlight: Spike!! *runs to him & kneel next to him on both sides*

Twilight: are you okay!? what happened!?

Starlight: was a memory!? what did you see!?

Spike: *huff, huff* i saw......me in the train....there was no one on it, i was alone, no one was driving the train, then a boulder came out of nowhere and......you know.

Twilight: .....what?

Starlight: but...that's impossible, there were ponies in the train, we saw them.

Twilight: could it be some kind of magical illusion?

Starlight: but who would do that? could they be trying to kill you and the girls?

Twilight: no, if they want to kill me and the girls, they would've made it far too convincing for us to be fooled.

As Twilight & Starlight begins to talk & theorizing, Spike looks deeply into the white emerald.

Spike:*thinking* this is strange, why are the emeralds are showing me memories where they're included? i mean, it's showing my memories, but not the other memories when i was a kid.

Discord: uh...Spike?

Spike: huh? oh, what is it Discord?

Discord: i believe we have some uninvited visitors above us. *points up*

Spike: hm? *senses magic* you're right, something's going on up there, let's head back!

Twilight: huh? Spike, what's wrong?

Spike: enemies, above, let's go!

The emeralds begins to circle around them.

Spike: CHAOS........CONTROL!!!!

In a bright flash, they all went back to the throne room.

Starlight: we're back here!

Spike: *takes off the baby harness* i bet the others are fighting them as we speak.

Twilight: we got to go and help them, but Spike, you stay here.

Starlight: wha—?! Twilight, Spike can handle himself, you told me he fought a lot of diamond dogs back at the crystal empire!

Twilight: can you sense it too, Starlight? these new threats are filled with strong magic, i don't think Spike can take them on.

Spike looks at the emeralds floating around him, he then closes his eyes and begins to concentrate, the emeralds began to circle around him even faster.

Discord: whoa....Spike? are you okay?

Spike: i'm fine, you, Twilight, and Starlight go help the others, i'll stay here with Flurry and the emeralds.

Twilight: Spike? what are you doing exactly?

Spike: i'm trying to tap into the emeralds' power, i'll be there shortly.

Twilight was to say something else to Spike, but Discord snaps his fingers & he, Twilight & Starlight are transported outside.

Twilight: Discord!!

Discord: for once, i'm being serious here Twilight, we should listen to Spike, i feel like he's gonna show us how it's done, for now....we need to help our friends.

Starlight: wow, i...never heard you sound so serious.

Discord: well enjoy it while you can, because we gotta stop those foes. *flys off*

Twilight: b-but Spike is—

Starlight: Twilight! i know you care about a lot, but the others need our help.

Twilight looks back at the castle, worried that Spike might do something to harm himself, but she has no choice.

Twilight: alright, but this is all over, i'm heading straight back to Spike.

Starlight: done! let's go! *runs off*

Twilight looks back one last time & heads off as well.

Back with Spike, he sits down with his legs crossed and the emeralds ate still circling around him with his eyes closed, while Flurry Heart sits down watching him.

Spike:*thinking* i'm getting a strange vibe coming from the emeralds, it's like they're....telling me what to do.

Spike hears the rumbling and explosions outside, Flurry Heart has a worried expression on her face, Spike goes back on the emeralds & focuses real hard on them.

Spike:*thinking* come on.....COME ON!!!!!

The emeralds begins to glow white, COMPLETELY white, and they went inside Spike, he opens his eyes & for a split second, his pupils turns red.

Back at the fight....

Saber: man, these guys are really tough!

Steel: i'll admit, this is the first time i sweat this much in a while.

Saber: we're barely breaking a sweat, but the others behind us are tired! *points behind him with his thumb*

Steel: okay, you're right, man.....we really need Spike for this!

Suddenly, Twilight, Starlight, & Discord came from the sky.

Saber: glad to see that you return.

Steel: where's Spike?

Discord: *teleports to Fluttershy's side* we found the white emerald in the crystel caves.

Starlight: and Spike is still at the castle with Flurry Heart, trying to tap into the emeralds' power.

Twilight: wait, they're diamond dogs!?

Saber: yeah, and they have magic, but it feels....weird.

Steel: and look at them, they look pale, something's got to do with their magic.

Discord: hmm, their magic seems familiar, i can't put my finger on it.

Suddenly, the diamond dogs begins to get back up.

Saber: shit, here they come!

Steel: huh? *looks around* do you hear that?

Celestia flys up and sees all the creatures from different places in Equestria are heading their way.

Celestia: oh no....*flys back down* we got a problem.

Discord: let me guess, all the creatures of Equestria are heading their way as we speak?

Celestia: yes, Luna & i will try to stop them before they get here, all of you must find a way to get them out of here.

Celestia & Luna flys off to stop the creatures, Steel, Saber, Starlight, Discord, Shining Armor, Cadence & the Mane 6 stood their ground and ready themselves, but a golden piller of light came out of the castle and a shadow figure came out & flys between them.

Saber: whoa!! this power.....it's.....it's......

Steel: IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (don't blame me, this meme is legendary and you know it)

Discord: that was a meme.

Pinkie pie: i agree.

Applejack: what are you two talkn' about?

Rainbow Dash: look, in the dust!

The dust settles and it's Spike looking at the diamond dogs with Flurry Heart on his shoulder.

Flurry Heart: mama! papa! *teleports to Shining armor & Cadence*

Cadence: Flurry! *hugs her*

Shining Armor: thank you for taking care of her, Spike.

Spike, who's still looking at the diamond dogs, turns his head to the right to respond.

Spike: no problem, now all of you, go help the princesses control the mob of creatures.

Twilight: what!???! no Spike! i'm not leaving you!!

Spike: this isn't up for debate, Twilight, i know you're worried about me, but i can take care of myself, just go.....i'll be fine.

Spike turns his head back to the diamond dogs & gets a good look at them.

Spike:*thinking* i swear these guys looks familiar, but it doesn't matter.....they're going down.

Spike's purple aura begins to appear around him and it's intense.

Saber: whoa......look at his aura.

Steel: hardcore.....

Starlight: Twilight......we....have to go.

Twilight stares intensly at Spike, millions of questions are running through her head, how did Spike get this much power? how can he take them on all by himself? but those thoughts were cut-short, when one of the diamond dogs charge forward to attack Spike, but Spike caught it with ease.

Spike: let's finish it!!

Spike punch the diamond dog in the stomach & kicks him, launching him far away behind the other two.

Rainbow Dash: WHOA!!!! DID YOU SEE THAT!!?

Steel: we barely gave them damage and he just gave him one heck of a blow to the gut.

Discord: uh....i got some bad news, Celestia & Luna failed to stop the mobs of creatures.

Spike: damnit! well the least you guys can do is stop from coming to this spot, now go!!!

Steel: yes sir! *salutes & flys off*

Saber: make sure you get rid of them, leader.*takes off*

Twilight: S-Spike....i-i can't—

Spike: Discord, take them all with you!

Discord: on it!*snaps his finger*

Twilight: SPIKE—!!!*teleports away*

Spike: *sigh* sorry Twilight, but you won't listen, *looks at the diamond dogs* time to take you three down!

After that final blast, the diamond dogs are gone, Spike sits down on a stone and relax.

Spike: *sigh* it's over.

Steel: DUDE!!!!!! THAT.....WAS......BEYOND AWESOME!!!!!!

Spike looks at his right & sees Steel & Saber heading towards him.

Spike: hey guys, is everyone alright?

Saber: well....there's good news & bad news.

Steel: the good news is everyone is completely safe.

Spike: and the bad news?

Saber: *points behind himself* they all saw the whole fight.

Spike looks over to the direction where Saber is pointing at & he's not wrong, every creature in Equestria saw everything, eyes wide, pupils shrunk, mouths open wide, one of them fall on their side but still have a shock face, Spike feels really uncomfortable right now.

Spike: um......what's the plan now? *looks at Steel & Saber*

Steel: don't worry, i have a secret move!

Saber: is it running away?

Steel: .......you know.....i hate it when you ruin the moment.

Spike: you know i could use the emeralds to get us out of here, right?

Steel: speaking of, where are the emeralds?

Saber: did white emerald show you something?

Spike: well, *focuses & the emeralds came out floating* the white emerald showed me a memory a year ago, back when i was in the train.....

As Spike was explaining his memory to his team, Ember, the dragon lord, stares in total shock, in fact, she's more shock than anyone, not only because of what Spike just display, but before the fight started, she saw the yellow piller of light, she begins to remember what her father, Torch, said to her when she was young.

Ember: i-it can't be....

Pinkie pie: i know!! that was amazing!! i mean, we knew Spike can fight, but still....amazing!!

Ember: no......it's not that.....it's his power.....clearly he's no ordinary dragon, unless.......

Twilight: unless what?

Ember: is the stories, the legends, the myths are true?!

Every creature looks at Ember with curious faces.

Starlight: what? what is true?!

Ember: is he a.......SUPER DRAGON!?!?

All the other dragon stare at her in pure shock, as for the others, they all felt goosebumps or chills all over their bodys.

Twilight:*eyes wide* s-super.....dragon?

Rarity: w-what is this "super dragon" you speak of, darling?

Ember: *flys up in the air* all of you better hear what i'm about to say, it's really REALLY important! long ago, when i was a kid.....

(Flashback)

(kid)Ember: father, i am not tired, i must train!!

Torch: do not argue with me, my daughter, you need rest for tomorrow.

(kid)Ember: why do we have honor tomorrow?

Torch: because tomorrow we honor the legendary super dragon.

(kid)Ember: super....dragon?

Torch: he is the most powerful creature that this world or the universe has ever seen, he once appear out of nowhere a million years ago in our world, our ancestors attack him, believing he's a threat, but he shows his power, no creature in the world can rival him, he is a god, far more powerful than any powerful being in this world.

(kid)Ember: whoa.....is he really that strong?

Torch: no......he is.....beyond strong, he spare our ancestors lives, only because he wants us to live on in this world, so....to show him how grateful we all are, we made tomorrow an celebration in his honor.

(kid)Ember: will....will i see him someday?

Torch: ..........yes, perhaps someday....you will meet him, you will know it's him, once you saw a golden piller of light.

(End of flashback)

Ember: ....and now....today is that day, he appears.

Everyone was in awe, they expect to hear such a legend, a being far more powerful than any creature and perhaps....far more powerful than the alicorns.

Twilight: wait a minute!!

Fluttershy: w-what is it, Twilight?

Twilight: today is Spike's birthday!!!

Back with Spike & his team, after finishing his explanation, Steel heard what Twilight just said.

Steel: whoa dude, did you hear that? today's your birthday!!

Spike: what's a birthday?

Steel: the anniversary of the day on which person was born.

Spike: really? so am i....older?

Steel: well, judging by your appearance, i have to say......18.

Saber: hmm, Steel's right, you look like a eighteen year old.

Spike: oh cool!

Saber looks behind him and sees a undamage box, he uses his magic to lift it up and bring it to him, he opens it & it's a chocolate cake.

Saber: hey, this'll work.

Steel: huh? *looks inside* wow, a cake, haven't seen one in a long time.

Spike: huh? a cake?

Saber: yeah, this is a way to celebrate your birthday, come on Spike, let's head back.

Spike: uh....just a second, *grabs the white emerald & the other two went inside him* after seeing what the magic diamond dogs did, i just......i just wish Canterlot is rebulid.

Suddenly, the white emerald glows & the bulidings, the grounds, the houses, everything is being rebulid, after a few seconds, Canterlot is good as new.

Spike: whooooaaaaa......i didn't know the emeralds has their power.

Saber: or maybe....that's their element and you just discover this one's.

Steel: we'll find out what the other two can do, for now, let's go.

Spike: *nods* let's head back to Point village.

Steel & Saber: huh?

Spike: i called the village that because Steel points at the village at the cutie map, remember?

Saber: i'll admit, not a bad name.

Steel: i think it's cool.

The two emeralds appear out of Spike's body & the three emeralds begins to circle around them.

Twilight: NO!!!!!! *flys towards them* NOT AGAIN, I WON'T LOSE YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Twilight reaches out her hand, trying to get to Spike and his team.

Spike: CHAOS.......

Twilight fears she's not going make it, but, to her surprise, Spike's tail grabs her arm & pulls her into a hug.

Spike: CONTROL!!!!!!!

In a bright flash, they disappeared, everyone was in shock and awe, back at Tina's house, Steel & Saber was explaining everything to Tina.

Steel: and now....here we are.

Tina: oh my goodness, none of you are hurt are you?

Steel: no, we were just tired, those magic diamond dogs do put up a good fight.

Saber: the only question is, how do they process magic?

Tina: hmm.....maybe the answer will come up one day, by the way, is our new guest a friend to Spike?

They all turn to see Twilight hugging Spike tightly on the sofa with both of them laying down on it, Spike begins stroking her mane gently.

Steel: she's just staying here for a little bit.

Saber: she's stuck to Spike like glue, i bet she hates being seperated from Spike.

Spike: you know we can hear you.

Twilight: Spike, why did you leave again? you don't want to stay in Ponyville anymore?

Spike: *gets back up with Twilight* sorry Twilight, but there is a clear reason why i want to come back here at Point village.

Tina: Point village?

Saber: here, let me explain that.

Spike leads Twilight to the front door and shows her what the village looks like, she was shock, to think a village lives this far close to the badlands, to think this village is still standing.

Twilight: m-my gosh.....

Spike: yeah, wish there was some way to fix all this, *realize something* wait a second.

Spike focuses the white emerald out of his body.

Spike: i hope this'll work.

Twilight: what? Spike?

Spike: i wish for this village to be restore like long ago when it was born!

The white emerald begins to float into the air and makes it's way to the center of Point village, Spike & Twilight follows it & on the way, the civilians notice the white emerald floating to the center, as they reach the center, the white emerald begins to charge it.

Spike: it's about to happen, the village is about to be fix.

Twilight: are you sure this will work, Spike?

Stallion pony#1: what's that?

Mare pony#1: i don't know, but it's amazing.

All the civilians of the village begins to gather at the center, Steel, Saber, & Tina makes their way through the crowd.

Steel: do you made a wish?

Saber: what did you wish for?

Spike: *stands on top of a huge rock* i wish for this village to rebulid back into it's former glory.

The civilians are surprise that a dragon did something so nice for them.

Spike: um....hi, my name is Spike, some of you ponies may know and some don't, but it's okay, i'm not your enemy, after waking up and hearing the whole story about this place i want to do something nice for all of you, i want help give you ponies a real nice place to live in, i want to make this village better, stronger, and live longer, you ponies deserve better than this!

Stallion pony#2: yeah, he's right, i want to live in a real home with a nice bed!

Stallion pony#3: i want to have enough food for me and my famliy to live on!!

Mare pony#2: i want to have a job that i always dream to have!

Everyone begins to talk nonstop about having a normal life in the village, Spike smiles & looks up at the emerald, it begins to grant the wish, Spike heard someone call his attention, it's a group of teens with well-working instruments, Spike nods at them to play. (play music now & read fast)

Spike: 🎶here i am waiting, i'll have to leave soon, why am i~~holding on~~?🎶

Spike looks to his right and looks up at the clouded sky.

Spike: 🎶we knew this day would come, we knew it all along, how did it~~come so fast~?🎶

Spike jumps up and Saber carries him with his magic.

Spike: 🎶this is our~~last night~~but it's late~~and i'm trying not to sleep~ cause i know~~when i wake~i will have to slip away~🎶

Spike then shouts at the top of his lungs.

Spike: 🎶and when the daylight~~comes i'll have to go....but tonight i'm gonna hold you so close~cause in the daylight~we'll be on our own~~but tonight i need to hold you so close....oh-woah, oh-woah, oh-woah!!

Spike lands on top of a broken home.

Spike: 🎶here i am staning~at your perfection in my arms~so beautiful~~the sky is getting bright, the stars are burning out, somebody~~slow it down~~this is way~~too hard~~cause i know~when the sun comes up, i will leave~this is my~~last glance~~that will soon be memory~~🎶

Spike jumps in front of the rock.

Spike: 🎶and when the daylight~~comes i'll have to go....but tonight i'm gonna hold you so close~cause in the daylight~we'll on our own~~but tonight i need to hold you so close....oh-woah, oh-woah, oh-woah!!

Spike jumps on top of the rock.

Spike: 🎶i never wanted to stop, because i don't want to start all over, start all over~~i was afraid of the dark, but now it's all that i want, all that i want, all that i want~~!!!🎶

The white emerald begins to restore the village.

Spike: 🎶and when the daylight~~comes i'll have to go~~but tonight i'm gonna hold you so close~cause in the daylight~we'll on our own~~but tonight i need to hold you so close(x2)....oh-woah, oh-woah, oh-woah!!🎶

The other two emeralds came out of Spike body and makes float towards the white emerald, as the civilians cheer the last lines, Spike's suit begins to change.

Civilians: 🎶oh-woah!🎶

Spike: 🎶yeah!🎶

Civilians: 🎶oh-woah!🎶

Spike: 🎶yeah!🎶

Civilians: 🎶oh-woah~~~!🎶

Spike: 🎶yeah! yeah!!🎶

Civilians: 🎶oh-woah!🎶

Spike: 🎶yeah!🎶

Civilians: 🎶oh-woah!🎶

Spike: 🎶yeah!🎶

Civilians: 🎶oh-woah~~~!!!🎶

(song ends here)

After the singing is done, the village is good as new, everything alll what a village needs, everyone begins to cheer for Spike, as he floats back down, the emeralds went back inside him & he checks himself out, black shirt, purple unbutton shirt with a sharp coller over it, black pants, still has the white shoes.

Spike: whoa! awesome!!!

Twilight: Spike! that was—!! i don't—!! that was incredible!!!! you sing so beautifully!

Spike: thanks Twilight, and look the village is normal again, and everyone else has normal clothes now.

The whole village cheers for Spike and Steel & Saber brought the cake for him that has the number 18 on it.

Spike: huh? happy birthday Spike? this for me?

Steel: well duh!! who would it be?!

Saber: now hurry and blow out the candle.

Tina: you deserve this, Spike.

Spike looks at Twilight, she nods to him with a smile, Spike then blows out the flame.

Civilians: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPIKE!!!!!!!! *cheers!!!*

Spike: thank you all, i believe this is.....the beginning..... the beginning of a new adventure coming soon.

Later......

Saber: how do you like your party, Spike?

Spike: it's awesome, thanks guys.

Steel: no problem, so....what do we do now?

Spike: now? for now, we relax, because tomorrow....we will find the rest of the emeralds & discover what kind of elements they have and i'll get my memories back.

Twilight: the emeralds have their own elements?!

Spike: yup, but i feel like we need some help.

Twilight: we can go back to Ponyville and get the others.

Saber: that's not what he's saying, Twilight, he's saying we need more team members.

Steel: yeah, but not just normal teammates, we need teammates who are strong like us.

Spike: it will take some time, but it's only option we have left.

Twilight: .......hm.....alright, if it means to get your memory restored, then i'll help find more members for you.

Spike: thank you Twilight, *hugs her* i own you big time.

Twilight: *blushes & hugs back* yeah, you're welcome.
