It was another day filled with crime in New York.
Another day full of heroes trying to find the spiderling and coming back empty handed.
Another day with JJJ beating himself up over for driving out the hero New York desperately needed just to satisfy his ego.

It's been almost 3 weeks since the red and blue spandex was last seen and oh what Jameson wouldn't do to see it again.
To this time give the hero the praise and respect he deserved. That is 'IF' he comes back. He wouldn't be surprised he if he didn't, but he had to try.
Which is why he swallowed his pride made a live announcement across the city.

JJJ's face appeared on the screen, at his usual time, channel, and moustache perfectly groomed. What wasn't usual was the look of nervousness he had on his face. When was Jameson ever nervous?
A jerk? Yes
An idiot? Yes
A massive douche bag? Yes, yes, yes
But nervous? No.

So you can imagen not only New York, or the hero's, but the shock of Peter Parker with the next words that Jameson utterd on live TV.

'This message is to Spiderman. Not menace. Not freak. But to the friendly neighbour hood Spiderman. A hero.
It's been weeks without you and I know we... I have no right to say this but, please come back. We need you. I'm sorry it took us this long to figure this out but New York needs you. I know you have no reason to come back after the cruel and harsh way we treated you, but we learned the hard way of how much we do need you.
So Spiderman, if you are watching this.
I'm sorry. And please come back'.

For a second, it was as if the entire city was frozen.
J Jonah Jameson. The man who hated Spiderman with his entire being, slandered his name daily and did everything to drive him out.
Apologized on live TV and begged him to come back.

While the entire city stood frozen at this revelation.
Peter Parker cried. Whether it was tears of joy that he was finally recognized or sad that this was what is took to have him recognized he did not know.

So in his room, alone he cried as he looked the remains of his suit, burnt and destroyed. But not lost forever.

A/N: K so question, should Peter forgive them and go out as Spiderman again, or let them suffer and leave New York for good?
