"You know, it's not that bad," Tony assured as Peter frowned at the floor whilst sitting on the couch. Peter sighed and nodded slowly.
"It's just. Why?"
"There's never an answer to that, Pete."
"There should be."
"I know. You'll understand and learn to cope with it once you've tried so hard yet nothing fits the puzzle. You have to be chiseled to perfection to fit in. If you don't, people tend to forget about you."
"Mr. Stark. It's a pandemic. The entire world is falling apart yet we can't get along to save the people. We're all human. Mutations, culture, personalities, that's not a excuse to not get along and not figure out something to fix this," Peter argued. He was standing up now and was fixated on Mr. Stark who was standing, arms crossed on the other side of the bar in the kitchen.
"I know bud. And I'm sorry I'm making you stay here. But I know no one will be out right now. We're the worst state in the US right now. We have more deaths than any country at this point," Tony sighed.
Steve walked in from around the corner and smiled slightly. "Afternoon you two. What's the news?"
"We're discussing the whole COVID-19 thing," Tony shrugged.
"Aren't you working on a vaccine too?"
"Yeah, kinda. President wants me trying to work on something."
"For real?" Peter asked
"Yes bud," Tony nodded. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Let's get dinner started. Nat should be back soon and she'll be hungry after all that training
