Visiting The Remembered
Tony Stark.
Iron Man.
Billionaire.
Playboy.
Philanthropist.
Son.
Husband.
Best Friend.
Dad.
"I am Iron Man."
"Tony, I-I got that gift. The glasses. You have no idea how much that meant. To-To hear your voice again," Peter sat in front of the tombstone. Flowers littered the ground, "it would be an understatement to say that I just miss you." Peter let tears run down his cheeks. His red stained eyes already throbbing from crying even more.
"Everywhere I go, I see your damn face, Tony. Literally, everywhere I go. You're always in my head. My memories. It doesn't ever go away because I don't ever want you too. I didn't- I've lost too much. I feel selfish just saying it, but I needed you. I didn't get much time with you, Tony. Not enough. A few years aren't enough. You were suppose to grow old in the cabin. With Pepper. With Morgan. You know, the reason dad is written on your stone is because of Morgan. That's . . . absolutely amazing. I just wish that it was there because of me too. You are my dad if I have anything to say about it. I know you probably didn't see me as your son. That's okay." Peter let out a sob as he fiercely rubbed his eyes.
"I just miss you so damn much," Peter sobbed, crying uncontrollably. He sat there, in his Spiderman suit, his face bloodied from the robbery he had just finished taking care of.
"I love you, Tony. Thank you, for everything," Peter stood on shaky legs. His arm wrapped around his mid section, his injuries catching up to him. Peter smiled sadly at the picture he set down if him and Tony. It was a screenshot of the video in the car. He loved that moment. Every moment he got with the man.
Peter looked away then to another grave that was imbedded to the Earth.
Natasha Romanoff
Spy.
Best Friend.
Family.
Assassin.
Total Badass.
"I used to not have a family, until I got this one."
Peter chuckled at 'Total Badass'. Clint argued with everyone to put that on there. Everyone didn't fight too hard. They were her family after all. Peter took a seat in front of the stone.
"Can't forget you, Nat." Peter let more tears fall. Blood dropped down from his bloodied lip along with a drop of his salty tears.
Peter places down flowers. He smiles as he sees a picture of Nat and Clint together. Her hair was still red. No white. It was a long time ago. When times were more simple. Peter choked on a sob that he tried his hardest to hold back. He punched the ground and sobbed harder.
"It's not easy! There was another way, there had to be! I- I can't. It's not okay, Nat. Clint told me that you said it's okay. You said it's okay. I don't know if- I don't know if it is anymore. Not without you." Peter ran a finger over Nats smile in the picture.
"I miss you," Peter wiped up tears and took a breath in, "we miss you." Peter mustered up a smile to match Natasha's. "I know that you did it for us. I love you, so much."
Peter grunted as his side shifted uncomfortably. He needed to get back to the compound and ask Bucky for help. Sam should be there with Bruce too. Peter stood, his face scrunching up in pain before relaxing as he finally made it back up. Peter retrieved his Spider Mask from atop the grave.
"I love you guys. Rest easy, I'll be back another day." Peter limped out of the cemetery with one last glance to the two graves. He'd remember. Forever.
