The Weekend (2/3)

Peter groaned as he rolled over in his bed. Well, his bed at Stark Tower anyway. Peters eyes flittered open and he let his face form into a smile as he realized where he was. Last night was a good time! Wait, he vaguely remembered falling asleep on the couch . . .!

Peter sat up and moved his legs dangling on the edge of his queen sized bed. He groggily looked to the bathroom that's attached to his room. He slowly stands up and makes his way to his bathroom. When he reaches the doorway, he turns the light switch and the lights come on.

Peter turned to the mirror and noticed his hair was in a complete shaggy mess. He shrugged and shut the light off then walked out. He stretched and yawned. Then, made his way out of his room, still rubbing his eyes of tiredness. He wasn't prepared to be taken into a strong grip. He yelped and thrashed.

"TONY! HELP!" He shouted and thrashed harder. Until, he heard the voice.

"Peter, it is quite alright," that was Thor!

Peters eyes cracked open and his smile brightened his mood. "Thor!" Peter began hugging the man back. The two released each other and turned when they heard a ruckus coming there way.

It was Tony. He was in his IronMan suit and had repulsers on full blast, ready to hit anything. The rest of the team came around the corner, still in pajamas, weapons ready. Peter smiled, stupidly.

"Hey, guys!" He waves with a slight yawn. They all lower their weapons. Tony steps out of his suit and runs to Peter, taking his face in his hands and begins to check him over. "Tony, I'm alright. Thor just scared me," Peter managed out.

Tony let out a sigh of relief and patted Peters shoulder. "Alright, y-ya scared me there kiddo."  Tony ruffled Peters hair after and smiled. "Morning hair?"

Peter scowled and ran his hand through his hair a couple of times, "maybe." Natasha smiled with a stuffed laugh and walked away, gun in hand. The rest of the team let down their guard and greeted Thor.

"So, what's in today's plans?" Peter asked as he turned to his mentor. Tony chuckled and wrapped an arm over the teens shoulder.

"Well, I am thinking some test runs on my suits. I need you to do it. Then an ice cream day with the whole team. Then board games?"

"Yes! That sounds awesome!" Tony smiled and watched as Peter ran to talk to Thor and the rest of the team. Tony stood with his hands in his pockets and a proud smile plastered to his face. Steve came up beside him and watched the team interact with each other.

"He's a great kid, Tony."

Tony smiles before crossing his arms, "and so I've been told. I don't know what I'd do without him to be honest, Cap."

Steve looked at Tony, "he loves you, Tony."

Tony looked a little awestruck and had to fix his posture then clear his throat, "Yeah, I love him too." Steve smiles.

"So, board games tonight?"

"Yup."

Peter let the suit enclose his body. It was big but Peter managed. Tony took off his safety glasses and smiled at the suit who had his so- the kid in it. Tony chuckled when the suit stumbled a bit.

"A bit big?" Tony asked, quirking a brow.

The head of the suit turned to Tony, "um, maybe." Peters voice came through. That adorable voice that Tony could listen to all day long. "Woah, it's so cool in here! Tony! This is awesome!"

Tony smiled at the kids amazement, "it is pretty neat, isn't it?"

"Yes!" Tony chuckled at the hyper answer he received. Their moment was interrupted when Nick Fury entered the lab. A scowl planted on his face. Tony gave a hard glare. The IronMan suit stumbled more before coming to a stop and standing utterly still.

     "We need to talk."

Tony rolled his eyes, "can it wait? I'm a little busy here."

"It's about who's in that suit," Fury sternly continued.

Tony frowned and placed himself closer to the suit. "Who would that be?"

Fury glared, "you tell me, Stark."

Natasha and Steve entered the room next. Steve saluted and Nat just crossed her arms. "Tony, he knows." Steve spoke up. Tony turned to Fury and shook his head.

"You even think about taking or so much as touching him-," Tony started.

"I'm not going to do neither. Not unless he doesn't cooperate," cFury then turned his attention to the boy in the suit, "step on out there, son."

Peter gulped. He looked down to Tony then sighed. He told FRIDAY to let him out. Peter stepped out and nervously looked up at Fury. Tony just pulled the kid closer and more out of Fury's sight.

"Can I just give you want you want and you can be on your way? We kinda have a game night planned." Tony barked. Fury smiled and crossed his arms.

"I just wanted to meet Spiderman." Peters eyes went wide and his head shot up. Steve and Nat shifted uncomfortably. Tony fumed.

     "Great, you met him. Leave."

"Peter Parker, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself."

Peter frowned and stepped out from behind Tony a bit. "M-My name is Peter- you already knew that. Um, I'm sixteen." Peter was twiddling his thumbs. Fury came closer and let out a hand to shake. Peter looked at Fury then took his hand. Shaking it firm and looking him in the eyes.

"Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D. I'll visit some other time. Enjoy board games, Mr. Parker." Peter smiled and nodded at the man. Fury gave Tony one last glance before turning away and making his way out of the building.

Tony sighed, "that went better than expected. I don't like how much he knows about you though." Peter shrugged. He wasn't too excited about that fact either, but he got to meet THE Nick Fury.

"We don't either. I'll keep an eye on it. Nick won't do anything to antagonize the kid or anything like that," Nat supplied. Tony nodded while humming.

     "Board games?"

      "Hell yeah!"

     "Language."

Tony smacked Clint's piece off the board, "SORRY!" He laughed and pointed in Clint's face. Clint just held his head in his hands in defeat while everyone laughed.

"I think that's just mean. Why is it called sorry? The opponent is not even sorry," Clint grumbled. Peter just laughed at the two. Then he yawned, unnoticeably.

They played until around eleven when Steve noticed the youngest had fallen asleep on Clint's shoulder. Clint was still just playing. Peter had fallen asleep on the couch though, once again. Steve looked at Tony who has caught on.

"Yeah, lets take him." Steve modded, putting down his UNO cards and moving around Clint so he could pick Peter up, bridal style. Tony lead Steve, who carried Peter, to the kids room. Steve let Tony moved the blankets then set the teen down. Tony out the blankets over the already pajama dressed teen.

"Goodnight, little buddy," Tony whispered. Steve went out and so did Tony. Peter curled up in the bed with a smile.
