Peter Parker sighed as he brushed back his hair with his comb. High School really knew how to kill time. There was a play tonight for the Avengers. It was a big one. The whole team had gotten back together again after the whole Infinity War battle. People had learned the tale and were now bringing the story around for everyone. High School had caught wind of it and Drama Club, that Peter just had to be in with his Parker luck, was part of that play.

"Peter! You have five minutes," May called from the kitchen as she prepped her purse for the ride to the high school.

"Almost done," Peter answered as he looked at himself and noticed how pale he was. Maybe May wouldn't notice. Peter walked out of the bathroom and had his Spiderman suit in hand. He had gained the role of Spiderman. Mostly because he had abs and it was the only tight suit of the whole play and the girls in the club thought it would look more heroic for his part. He thought it was ironic that he got to play Spiderman. He had the suit and everything. Everyone handmade their suit, Peter was gonna just say he had done the same.

"So, Tony called," May started. "Said he was going to come and watch the play himself." She looked for a reaction.

"He's going? You sure he's gonna be okay? Please tell me someone else is going with him," Peter cared a lot about the well being of the man that held him when he died in his arms. He had always cared. More than caring for someone who was just his mentor. Maybe even a father . . .

"Pepper and Steve are going," May smiled, reassuringly. May pulled her purse over her shoulder and grabbed her car keys, "ready to go?"

"Yeah," Peter insisted. The two walked to the car and made it to the high school.

"Peter you better be ready," MJ scolded as she held her clipboard.

"Does Fred really have to pretend he slammed me into the ground?" Peter asked. MJ glared at the boy.

"Thanos slammed Spandexboy into the ground so I suggest you pretend you did too." MJ shoves the teenager along and helps him go out to the stage. Peter had his mask on. Fred, who was dressed as Thanos, grabbed Peter, who played along and smashed him into the ground, seemingly anyway.

The crowd laughed a bit as it looked a little unrealistic but I mean, c'mon what'd you expect? A huge CGI fight? Didn't think so. Peter struggles underneath the grip and had the flashback of the actual situation. The boy was just as scared as he had been the first time it happened to him. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all . . .

Also, turns out that all of the Avengers came. They all had special seats placed away from everyone else though. Even Hawkeye and AntMan came!

Peter pretended to be knocked out for a short period of time. Then, when the time came he saved 'Mantis'. Then, he was off stage along with everyone else except for 'Tony' and 'Thanos'. The moon they used was a Lego Death Star that Ned and he had built just for the play. It was funny when it landed on 'Tony', it wasn't when it had actually happened.

'Tony' was now without his Iron Man mask. Peter knew this part. This was the worst thing he had ever seen. 'Tony' then had the sword that almost cost him his life. Peter looked up to Tony and noticed Pepper had her arms clung around his arm. Tony had a hand on hers. Peter looked back to the scene on the stage and saw Thanos rip off the sword from 'Tony' then stab it through him. The crowd gasped. Peter winced and let tears flow as he remembered the actual scene very clearly. He was grateful he wore a mask as of right now. He was letting tears fall.

The fake Tony was actually Flash. Much to Peters dismay.

"You have my respects Stark, and I'm glad half of humanity will still be alive. I hope they remember you," 'Thanos' stood up straight and examined his work. 'Tony' sputtered as he looked from the sword in his side to Thanos. Peter turned away and squeezed his eyes shut. He looked back to Tony and saw that he was looking at him. From where he was sitting he could see him behind the curtain, waiting for him to be back on stage. Tony held a sorrowful face. He watched as he mouth a faint, 'sorry, to Peter.

Peter shook his head. He looked back and saw 'Tony'  look to the fake Doctor Strange, who had also shown up, and say, "why did you do that?" Then 'Doctor Strange' looked to fake Tony, "we're in the endgame now." The scene ended at the crowd awaited the next scene. Peter turned away and knew what was next. His death.

This was it. It was now time for everyone to turn into nothing but dust. Peter was set up on the stage along with the 'Guardians'. Peter helped up 'Tony' as he did on Titan. Then, "something is happening," said 'Mantis'. A bucket of black confetti took her place as the character was covered with a black sheet. The confetti covered it.

'Drax' looked to 'Quill', "Quill," was all he said before he to laid down and covered himself with a black sheet as black confetti fell from a bucket above the stage. MJ smiled from atop to Peter who gave a small smile before looking back to the play.

Peter watched as 'Quill' looked to him and 'Tony' a.k.a Flash. "Stay Quill," 'Tony' urgently said as he stepped closer.

'Quill' frowned, "ah man." The character covered himself with a black blanket and confetti was also dropped on him.

"Tony," 'Doctor Strange' began. 'Tony' turned to him. "There was no other way," 'Doctor Strange' said before he to turned to dust. It was all too familiar. Peter remembered everything.

His turn. Before it started he looked to Tony. Tony was wiping tears. The man knew what was next. 'Tony' wasn't facing him. He was still looking to where 'Doctor Strange' had turned to dust. "M-Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good," it pained Peter to say those words again. It was all too familiar. It was like he was actually there. He remembers how bad it felt.

"You're Alright," 'Tony' insisted as he turned to face Peter.

"I don't know what's happening. I don't know-," Peter fell into Flash. The boy held onto Peters lower back as they recreated the scene. Peters mask was off during the scene. "I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go, Stark, please. Please, I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go," Peter let Flash lay him back. He was looking up at MJ who was teary-eyed above. He then looked Flash in the eye, ". . . I'm sorry," Peter turned away and saw Tony. He was crying. Full on. No one blamed him. Not a one. Some other people were even crying in the crowd. May was also.

Flash did the scene exactly right. The blanket was thrown over Peter and he felt the confetti empty onto him and he felt Flash pick some up from off of him and held it. He knew that Flash was sitting and grieving in character as he held the dust close. For some reason, that made him feel more loved by Mr. Stark.

"He did it," he heard 'Nebula' say.

Peter and everyone else cleared off the stage. Some black confetti was left but that was okay for the next scene. The next scene was only five minutes long. Then, it cut to 'Thanos'. The purple infinity stone holder looked off into the sunset. Just like he had said he would do. The props were held up by the characters behind the curtain. Then, in the end, the piano played [Play Vid At The Very Bottom] for the ending music.

The curtain dropped after that and cheers echoed through the theatre. Then, everyone came out and took hands then bowed. That was it, it was finally over. He saw that the Avengers had left already. He frowned at that. He had wanted to make sure Mr. Stark was okay. May motioned for him to come to her so after he grabbed his masked and asked his teacher if it was okay, he went to her.

"Tony wants to meet you outside by the gym door," May muttered to Peter. Peter nodded. May held his face in her hand, "I love you." She whispered and kissed his forehead before he took the gym door out. He saw Tony standing there. Thank goodness the gym door was on the side of the building where no one could see. It was night too.

"H-Hey, Mr. Stark."

"Don't play dumb kid, I saw how much it pained you to do that. Because it tore me up to sit there and see it happen again." Tony's voice cracked at the last sentence and he put his glasses on his head and wiped his eyes. "I'm so sorry, it never should have happened. Never."

"I'm sorry, Mr. Stark. I really am, you didn't have to come-."

"No, I wanted to. Besides, I didn't want you to go through it alone." Tony grabbed Peter and held him close. They had hugged more often now.

"Peter Parker, I love you and I don't want to ever lose you again," Tony said to the teenager as he held onto him like he might turn to dust once more.

"I love you too, Tony." Peter managed out before crying along with his father figure. A day they would never forget was the day Thanos had taken away something valuable. Half of the universe.

Half of the universe may just mean that to one person, but one person could be the universe to someone else. And that's the relationship the two had together.
