That Little Accords Thing

Peter gasped when he tripped over the little step that lead to the living room. He hit the ground and crawled to the couch. His eyes were wild as he looked around for anything that may be of assistance. An arm grabbed him right before his spidey senses went wild.

Natasha smiled as Peter yelped when she managed to tag him.

"You're it," She laughed. Peter groaned. His Spidey senses wasn't much help due to him being comfortable with Natasha. Natasha ran away and Peter raced after Clint. Tony walked into the living area with an eyebrow raised and a coffee mug in hand.

"Glad to see training is being taken seriously," Tony grumbled. Peter landed next to him and smiled big.

"Good morning, Mr. Stark! What's your plans for the day?" Peter dodged Clint's hand and managed to stick to the ceiling while keeping his gaze on Tony.

"Well, Spiderling, I've been thinking about working my day away in the lab. You've still got nine days with me." Tony shrugged as he walked past them and flared at Clint as he knocked into him.

"Steve is in your lab, Tony. He said there is something important to talk about." Natasha spoke up. Silence flooded the room. Peter landed on the ground by one of his webs and swallowed. He knew it was something to do with Ross. He had heard his name around the past month he had been staying with his mentor and the Avengers.

"Just what I need in the morning," Tony sighed. The man made his way into the lab. A difference in his posture mad Peter frown. Touchy subject.

"Um, let's just relax the rest of the day. Okay Pete?" Clint cleared his throat. Peter nodded to the man.

"Okay," Peter plastered on a smile. Clint and Natasha slowly made there way out of the room and to there own rooms.

Peters mind wouldn't get off what was being said in the lab right now. Peter knew it wasn't any of his business. Tony and Steve deserved to talk in private, but the teen couldn't help but just listen in. Peter was determined to listen. The teenager crawled up the wall and back to the ceiling and placed his head closer to the wall.

"Tony. I want this to be gone as much as you do. We both know this. It sucks. Half of us are stuck here, hiding. We put all of you guys at risk. We put Peter at risk." Steve frowned as he turned in a chair. Tony huffed and stood.

"You aren't going anywhere. I don't want any of you leaving this building. I can't stand to watch you guys leave. Not again." Tony grumbled. Steve frowned.

"I know. But, Tony it's going to get you killed."

"I don't care."

"You should."

"I don't."

"In truth you like the pain, you like it. Because you believe that you deserve it Tony. I'm telling you right now. You don't. Not one bit." Steve stood and faced the darker headed man.

"Steve. Ultron was my damn fault. It was all my fault. Pietro would still be here if it weren't for me. The Accords wouldn't have to be a problem," Tony shook his head.

"You're a hero, Tony."

"I'm no hero."

Peter glared and landed on the floor and barged into the room. Both men turned to face the teen. "A hero is someone that has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself." Peter recited as he stood tall. Tony smiled warmly at the brown headed teenager.

"Listening in on us, are you?" Peter frowned at Tony.

"Please stay. I don't care what harm you put us in. This has been the best month of my entire life." Peter had turned to Steve and was giving the best puppy dog eyes he could give. Tony sighed at that one and patted Steve's shoulder.

"The puppy dog eyes, gets everyone all the time."

Steve sighs and nods.

Peter smiled, "well, this is nice."
