Parties Don't Mix Like The Drinks

"Ned, should we really-."

"This would be great for Spiderman!"

"Ned, I dunno. Maybe we should just skip it. I have some homework to finish anyway." Peter held his books as he began walking home from school that day. Tonight was a party that the whole school was going to. Well supposed to anyway . . .

"Come on Peter, we didn't get to show anyone Spiderman last time. You bailed out. Come on, you owe me." Ned wore a frown as they stopped in front of Ned's small house. His mom was on his way home at any moment.

"Yeah, okay. I'll have May pick you up around seven, Alright?"

"SWEET! Thanks Peter! See you later." The boy waved and went inside. Peter sighed. His eyes looked up to notice hair on his forehead, he blew at it and frowned when it didn't go up as he thought it would.

"Alright Pete, go home and lay out your clothes. Take a shower. And. . .," Peter checked his watch. "Nope. No Spiderman before. Great." Peter kept going until he made it to his apartment door. He fumbled with the keys and ended up dropping all his books.

"Come on! Seriously?" The teenage boy grumbled to himself as he unlocked the door then opened it. He dropped to his knees and began collecting his books from off the ground.

"Is everything alright my dear?" It was old lady Peggy. The old lady wore a gracious smile that Peter couldn't help but smile back at.

"Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just dropped my books from school trying to get into my apartment." Peter explained before grabbing his last book and standing up straight. Peter knew the lady was a beautiful young lady because she still was. So sweet also. Although, no husband at all.

"Okay dear, remember don't stay up too late." She called before going into her apartment and shutting the door with a soft 'click'. Peter sighed before entering his apartment and closing the door behind him with his foot.

Peter dropped his key on the island in the kitchen before entering his room and dropping all of his books on his desk. He groaned and fell back into his bed. He stared at the mattress above him. He then noticed a tablet placed on his dresser. The teenager furrowed his brow before sitting up then standing up.

"What the. . . ," Peter picked up the tablet then all of a sudden a face recording off Tony Stark came onto the tablet.

"Hey kid, I've got no plans for the rest of the week and wondered if you'd um . . . Sorry I wasn't gonna make this awkward, anyway I was wondering if you'd like to come stay over. I'll take you to school and everything. I already talked to May and she said the whole thing was up to you. She is going to a hospital in Illinois for a couple of days to train a few nurses so, I dunno, I figured you wanna come over. It's totally okay if you don't want to. I'll understand. I heard you have a party tonight also, "Tony winked. "I could take you."

Peter smiled and couldn't help the warm feeling that bubbled inside him. He was happy to have someone like Tony. He didn't wanna think of father figure, mostly because he didn't know if Tony felt the same way.

"But, uh it's totally your choice. Call me when you make up your mind. Also, keep the tablet. I may send more of these frequently. It's an easier way to get your teenage mind. By technology." The video ended. Peter didn't wait a second before calling Tony.

He picked up at the first ring, "Hey kid, get my video?"

"Sure did. I'd love to stay over. I do need to go that party tonight, I promised Ned that I would." Peter responded.

"Sounds good. I'll take ya. Pack up, be there in ten." The call ended. Peter couldn't contain the excitement! A whole week at Stark Tower? With Tony Stark?! Parker luck for the win!

Peter had packed all of the things he may need. Toothbrush, toothpaste, clothes for the week, phone, phone charger, etc. Although, Peter was sure that Tony would say something about him not needing all of these things. Tony had a room set up for him already, due to the whole Avenger thing. Also, where was he gonna sleep when Tony had told Aunt May that Peter was working hard at the 'internship' that had happened a while back.

A knock came to the door and Peter was SO ready. He hadn't texted Ned that Tony would be taking the two to the party yet. He should probably do that.

"Hey kid," Tony smiled from behind his sunglasses.

"Hey Mr. Stark," Peter chirped before making sure to grab his apartment key and checking his pocket for his phone. The two stepped into the hallway. Peter made sure the door was locked before making his way to the stairs to go down stairs.

The two made their way to the car. They both got in the front and Tony began to drive off to Neds house. Tony had the top rolled back and Peter sat back as he let the air blow through his hair.

"This is so awesome!" Tony couldn't help but chuckle at the enthusiasm of the teenage boy. "Never in a million years would I have thought I would be sitting by Tony Freaking Stark in his car." Tony laughed once more.

"Kid, you deserve anything. You've got more heart than anyone I've ever met. Anyway, let's go pick up Ned the Nerd." Tony turned right and pulled to the side for Peter to hop out and knock on Ned's door. Tony smiled as he thought about what he was doing. How responsible would Pepper think of him now? Taking care of two teenagers in one night? Yup.

"I-Is . . . A-Are you T-T-Tony Stark?" Ned's eyes were huge and his mouth was hanging open. Tony smiled at the boy and pressed a button. The door to the back opened for Ned.

"Sure am. Hop in, you two have a party to attend, right?" The boy nodded before hopping in.

That night. . .

"Hey Penis!" Peter groaned before turning to Flash.

"Flash I only came because the whole school was invited. Besides, don't you have songs to play? Aren't you the DJ?" Peter crosses his arms and Ned backs up.

"What'd you say Parker?"

"I said get lost."

"I'll let that pass up and not have my boys beat the crap out of you and Ned over there, as long as you drink this." Flash pushed a red solo cup to Peters hands. "Drink up, Puny Parker." It was Flash's turn to cross his arms.

Peter had thought he had thought this through. Fast metabolism, not gonna do anything anyway, right? "Fine," Peter groaned. Ned was about to stop the boy when Peter lifted the solo cup and began to chug it. Flash laughed. Ned watched in horror. Peter had never drank before. Never.

"Hey, that's good Parker! How about another?" Flash grabbed two more. Peter dropped the first empty solo cup.

"Peter, that's not a good idea. Not even for your high metabolism." Ned whispered so only Peter and him could here.

"I'll be fine, Ned," Peter assured. Peter took another drink and chugged that one. Flash gave him another and Peter drank it. Then another and another. Flash laughed after Peter finished the last one.

"Good luck waking up on that one, Parker. Have a good party you two. Maybe we can start making deals like this more often. It's entertaining," Flash snorted and walked away.

"Peter, we should call someone. That wasn't a good idea!" Ned exclaimed. Peter groaned as a sudden rush swept over him. Peter ran to the bathroom. Ned not far behind.

The two boys reached the bathroom. Peter began throwing up over the stool. "Peter, I'm calling Tony." Ned assured.

"N-No. H-He'll think I'm stupid." Peter began to cry.

"No he won't, he'll understand the peer pressure." Ned comforted as he grabbed his phone from his pocket. He scrolled through to Mr. Stark's number, that he had just been given that night, and waited for the man to answer.

"Hey kid, you two behaving?"  Stark was smiling on the other side of the line.

"No. Mr. Stark, Peter was peer pressured by this bully Flash into drinking four cups of alcohol. I don't know what it was. Peters not looking good. All of a sudden Peter began to throw up like no tomorrow. "He's throwing up!" Ned panicked.

"I'm already on my way! Be there in two minutes! Stay on the line! How's he doing?" Ned could head the panic rising in the older mans voice.

"He's really pale," Ned admitted. "Peter, how are you feeling?" Ned asked.

"M-My ch-chest hurts," Peter sobbed.

"His chest hurts! What's that mean?" Bed was holding his hand to his head and breathing erratically.

"It's his fast metabolism trying to bring him back to sober. I'm here. I'm coming in now." The call ended, and came in Tony Stark. "Kid," The man dropped next to the boy and rubbed his back. "Hey, let me look at you." Peter sobbed once more but let the billionaire turn his face gently. "Oh Pete, let's clean your face."

Ned has his cue and grabbed a cloth, ran it under water in the sink, then gave it to Tony. Tony began to clean the boys face of all vomit. Once done, Peter was till shaking with slight sobs. Tony frowned and pulled the boy into his arms. The boy broke down even more and cried loud. He hugged the playboy back.

"It's alright, it's gonna be over soon." Tony whispered and rubbed the teenage boys back.

"I didn't want him to hurt Ned. If I'd j-just keep my mouth shut." Peter managed to get out before crying more.

"Peter, you made a very brave move. Let's go home. Okay? We'll take Ned home then we can get home and I'll help you out, Alright?"

"O-Okay," said Peter.

"Ned, help us up?"

"Yes sir." The boy helped the two up. Tony wrapped Peters arm around his neck and supported his weight.

"Doors?"

"Got it," Ned opened the bathroom door and pushed his way through the crowd for Tony. Everyone would gasp and move away. Flash was at the door and was laughing with som friends.

"Woah, leaving so soon Ned?" Flash snickered and shoves the boy a bit. Then, Flash saw Tony Stark with Peter Parker. "Holy shit," Flash whispered.

"So, you're Flash? Back the hell away from my kid. You do anything like this again and I'll put your damn parents in the gutter. Open the door for us so I can take my kid home." Tony had a stern glare on the boy. The music had stopped and everyone was starring. Ned was smiling in triumph. Peter was just looking at Flash, not even pretending to show sympathy.

"Hey Flash," Flash looked to Peter. The boy flipped him off. Tony smiled like a proud father and the crowd laughed. The three guys left the house party and made it to the car.

"He's gonna be okay, right?" Ned asked as he shut his door.

"Yeah, it's wearing off now. By the time we get to the tower he'll be sober and just a little sick feeling. I'll have him text you when he's completely well in the morning." Tony assures as he reaches Ned's house.

"Thank you, Mr. Stark. By the way, I think Peter, when he's sober, will appreciate that you called him your kid. Alright, by Mr.Stark." Tony watched the kid go to his house and into it. He pulled away then made his way to the tower.

"How you holding up?" Tony asked. Peter groaned. "Figured," sighed Tony.

Tony made it to the tower and had Happy put up his car as he and Peter made their way to the elevator. Peter was sobering up. He was able to walk, somewhat, to the couch once they made it to Tony's floor.

"Thank you, Mr. Stark. I didn't think I could get into that much trouble. I was just-."

"I know Pete. It's okay. I've done the same thing."

"You have?"

"Different story, different day. Anyway, take some of these. It'll wear off everything so you don't wake up feeling like shit," Tony smiled.

Peter took the medicine before looking to Tony. "By the way, thanks for taking care of Flash for me. And for helping me out."

"Hey, what am I here for?"

"Thank you." Peter hugged the man once more. Tony couldn't help but rest his face into Peters soft curls.

"Anytime. Now get to bed. It may be Friday night, but rules are rules. Goodnight kid. Rest easy."

"Goodnight, Mr. Stark." Tony smiled as he watched the young boy walk to his room. He never knew something so great could sneak up on him. Parties aren't like the mixed drinks they serve.
