Late Night

"Pete, what's that thing you told me when I first met you." Tony asked as he walked around the island with his warm cup of coffee and took a seat next to the kid.

"When you do the things I can and then you don't then the bad things happen, they happen because of you," Peter recited as he gave Tony the same look as he did the first time, "why?"

Tony smiled, "Nothing. I just needed to hear that."

Peter smiled and began scrolling through his phone. Tony just drank his coffee and watched the boy. The teen that Tony held dear to his heart.

Peter caught Tony looking and couldn't help but feel flustered. "I-um is there something on me?"

"No, kid," Tony smiled, "I just really am happy to see you again." Peter turned a bit red before smiling also.

"It was only three days, Mr. Stark," Peter rolled his eyes.

     "Felt like a lifetime."

Peter laughed, "thanks, Mr. Stark. I missed you too." Peter clicked his phone off and sat it down. "What happened to the rest of the guys?"

"What," Tony made a fake pained face, "I'm not good enough to be around?"

Peters eyes widened as he shook his head rapidly, "no, no, no, nothing like that Mr. Stark! I just-I didn't know where they were and I was just trying to-."

Tony couldn't help but laugh at the teens antics, "Pete, buddy, I was kidding with you. Calm down."

Peter ran a hand through his hair, "sorry. Anyway, I do love your presence and everything. I was just making small talk."

"I know you were. Though, how's school? I haven't heard much about that," Tony rose a brow setting down his coffee with his side smirk.

"I did ace my math test! Ned and I did." Peter smiled, his eyes brightening. Something that Tony always craved to see. Peter yawned after exclaiming that. It was two am . . .

"That's great bud," Tony smiled, "good job!"

     "Thanks Mr. Stark!"

     "It's Tony, Kid."

     "I know."

Tony smiled before his eyes flicked back to the TV. Thirty minutes had passed before he felt something heavy on his side. Tony looked at a smile spread across his face. The kid was snoozing on his side. Tony chuckled a little before grabbing the blanket on the side of the couch and throwing it over the both of them. Tony grabbed the boy and began to lay down with him on top. Peters eyes opened a bit.

     "T-Tony?"

"It's alright, go back to sleep." Peter easily complied. Tony smiled as he got settled and the boy on top of his chest snoozed quietly. The blanket was placed on them both. Tony brushed the kids hair out of his face. Tony hugged the kid to him. Peter cuddled into the mans chest before sighing contently. Tony, even with the coffee in his system, fell asleep too.

Clint rubbed his eyes as him and Natasha made their way to the kitchen. It was morning and about time for them to wake up. Nat yawned and went for the couch, she gasped. Clint snapped his head in her direction, "You okay?"

"Clint," Nat started, "you have to see this." She was smiling. Clint frowned in confusion before jumping over the island and next to Nat. Clint smiled at the scene too. It was Tony and Peter on the couch snoozing away. Steve came into the kitchen next and rose a brow at the two agents looking at the couch.

     "What are you two doing?"

      "Come look," Natasha smiled.

Steve sighed as he came around the island and looked at the scene before him. It was Tony and Peter. The cutest sight ever. The three gushed at the scene. Tony began to stir and his eyes flickered open. The three stood silently at the end of the couch by his head, so he didn't see them. Tony grunted and lifted his head to see Peter still snoozing on him. The three had their hands placed over their mouths to keep themselves from laughing.

Tony smiled and put a hand through the kids hair. "Mr. Stark?" Peter mumbled as he blinked tiredly and looked at the man. Peter started to turn red.

"You're good, Kid. That's actually the best sleep I've had in a while," Admitted Tony. Peter smiled and then looked up. He froze.

"Oh. . . hey guys." Tony furrowed his brow before leaning his head back as fas as it would go. Then, he saw those three. The three of them busted out laughing and Tony turned red. Peter stuttered out some words before falling off of Tony and onto the floor. Tony caught him a bit so the fall wouldn't be hard. Peters legs were tangled in the blanket though.

"Holy shit!" Tony gasped out but began laughing along with the three. Peter groaned but laughed too.

"You two are so cute." Clint gushed. Peter put his hands over his face. Tony smiled at the boy.

     "You Alright Underoos?"

"Yeah, I'm good." Peter untangled his legs and laid the blanket back on the couch after standing up. Tony got up too. "Who makes breakfast?"

"Steve." The other three said in unison.

      "Great."
