Father's Day
"Pepper, what are you doing on Sunday?" Pepper looked up from her coffee with a smile as warm as the cup.
"Making sure Peter and you spend some time together." Stark frowned as he thought about why Pepper would be so interested in particularly that on Sunday.
"Why," asked Tony.
"It's Father's Day, Tony." He almost dropped his mug of coffee.
"F-Father's day," Tony stuttered as he wipe his mouth.
"Yup." She popped the 'p'. Tony have her a shocked expression before setting his mug down on the counter.
"Peter. Oh god, he doesn't-."
"He does now, Tony. He looks up to you and you know it. May told me that every Father's Day he sits in his room and never goes anywhere. On Mother's Day he has May, but when this time roles around . . . he has no one, Tony." Pepper gave him a sad face at how unbearable that was for her to hear herself say.
"I want to be there. I'm clearing my schedule. I'm taking him somewhere and spending as much time as possible with him. Make sure that May knows." He ordered as he quickly walked off as he had better things to do on his Saturday morning. Tomorrow was a day full of Peter; He loved that.
"Of course." Pepper Potts smiled to herself. Tony was going to be a great father. He already is.

HONK!
HONK!
"Let's go, Underoos!"
Peter Parker smiled wide as he started out of the door and right to Mr. Stark's limo that Happy was driving.
"Hey ya, Happy!" The young boy quipped before jumping into the car and taking a seat next to Tony. Happy only groaned and put his sunglasses back on.
"What are we doing today? Mission? More lab things?" Peter questioned as he sat back and looked at Tony for a response. "Though, why did I need a bag for the night? I'm staying, I know that. Which is SO cool Mr. Stark, but really, why am I staying?"
Tony smiled before taking off his sunglasses and hanging them over his shirt. "Well kid, I have decided that today is a good day to go and enjoy a really nice part of the city. I've got tons of fun planned. Also, I figured since today is Father's Day that we'd cut to the chase a bit sooner and celebrate. What do ya say?" Tony smiled as he looked into the younger boys brown orbs that sparkled like a little Saint Bernard puppies.
"Really? For me?" Tears were welling up and Happy had to roll up the glass between the backseat and the front seat. Tony patted Pete's leg.
"Of course, why not? I love you and-." Tony stopped. He had just said it. He just confessed how he felt for the younger boy that he saw as a son. He wasn't stuck. He turned to look at Peter who was also in shock.
"Y-you love me?" Here came more waterworks. Tony couldn't make any smart comments though; Not this time.
Tony merely nods. "I love you too, Mr. Stark," Peter smiles. Tony smiled then puts his glasses back on.
The car comes to a stop and Tony leans to Peter. Peter leans back against the seat knowing that last time Tony opened the door and was not trying to hug him.
"I'm trying to hug you Kid." Peter laughed a bit before returning the hug. How ironic.
"Where first, Mr. Stark?"
"I know just the place, Pete." The two walked into an ice cream shop. What a Father's Day this was gonna be.
