I took Jala to my family reunion she was nervous but excited I could tell by the way she looked at me. "Miles are you sure that your family is going to like me?" We went in the car Jala was sweating and she biting her nail she does that when she's nervous it's kinda cute it's the little things that she does that I love like when she sleeps she snores and drools, or when she gets up she looks so cute. Or when she sings with her eyes closed sometimes, or when we swing on our webs she spins and twirls in the air gracefully like a ballerina. And just when I thought it was going to go great my grandmother my dad and uncle Aaron mom Rosalinda came she never liked my mom but she loves me to death oh boy I took a deep breath "Ok Miles just introduce her to your crazy grandma and go." Later we were laughing, eating and talking then my grandma came in Jala was playing with the kids "Miles I don't like her." "What why?" "Yes she's not a normal human when I thought you of you bringing a girlfriend home to us I didn't think you would bring a freak." "Mom!" Said my dad "momma Jala is human just like us." "Is she really Jefferson?" "Yes and she's me and Rio's daughter in law so wether you like it or not she's going to be part of this family." "Miles she isn't a normal human what were you thinking bringing a Meta Human monster in this house in our family?" "Grandma." "Uh Miles she's looking at us while we're talking about her." I turned seeing Jala standing by the door she went invisible walking out the door. "Jala wait!" "Baby wait come on look I-" "No Miles I understand she's right I'm not normal, I'm not a normal girl you should probably find a normal girl to bring home." She closed the door. "Well Miles at least she left but you can start fresh."

"Momma that wasn't right." said my uncle Aaron. "Aaron that girl isn't normal." "Neither am I." I said I jumped on it ceiling I crawled on the wall back to the floor "wow..your spiderman?" "Yes so grandma if your going to disown me?" "Your not going to except me either?" She turned to my dad "what did you do to my grandbaby?" "He was bit by a radioactive spider and it turned him into spiderman." She slapped him "it also turned my grandson into a freak!" "Well mom you know what else that spider turned him into?" "A hero, a savior of this city and that girl you called a 'freak' it bit her too and both of them risk their lives on the one to protect this city just like me."

"There's a difference Jefferson!" "Well there's no difference to me a hero is a hero regardless if they have powers or not." "You know I thought I could trust my family to have my back, support me in whoever I choose to love but I guess not I guess I was wrong you all ain't going see me anymore." I went invisible and walked out searching for Jala. "Son wait! Miles!"

Meanwhile Jala was invisible crying walking around she didn't even know where she was. Just then her phone rang it was Miles she disconnected the call. "Come on Jala where are you?" Then he bump into someone he and Jala uncloaked "Jala!" He hugged her she pulled away "Aren't you supposed to be looking for the perfect girl to please your grandmother?" "I already found her." He said caressing her cheek smiling at her she smiled then kissed him. "And no if my family don't except you they don't except me." "Oh no Miles you didn't leave your family did you?" "Yes if they can't except us then there's no point of staying there plus your a part of me if they can't except you then their not excepting me which is why we're running away." "But wait where are we going to go?" "Anywhere other than here." He grabbed my hand we walked until we made it to his house "So what's the plan?" "I pack my stuff and move in with you that's it." "That's good cause I have my own place." "Really?" "Yup my mom and dad gave me the second house we own here saying I'm old enough to be on my own or some crap like that."
"Well we can live together then." He kissed her "Just wait a while." Finally he finished packing up alright that's everything he looked at his now empty room "Let's go." Later Jefferson, Rio, and Aaron was looking for Jala and Miles "He's not answering me Jeff." said Aaron worried about his nephew his only nephew that's he's close to, he's known Miles ever since he was born now he's gone. "Don't worry we'll find them." said Jefferson he looked for his son but nothing he checked alleyways, streets, he even check his favorite hang/ hide out places nothing. "He's not answering me Rio you think you can call him?" "I did he's not answering me either oh Jeff where's our little boy?" "Don't worry we'll find him and Jala." Jala and Miles arrived at a fancy stone house "wow this is where you live now?" "Yup come on." They went inside it was bigger than her old house he went in a bedroom that was beautiful "This is our room." she said he sat on the bed "wow nice." she sat next to him "I love you." "I love you too Miles."
