Chapter 25
Miles looked on as though he was going to faint.
Tuesday morning breakfast had not prepared him for this.
"You like it, don't you?" Uncle Bob grinned as Miles nodded.
"There are so many people in here. " Miles said, awestruck at the faces all around him.
"Sure there are... " Uncle Bob patted on his shoulder.
More guests poured in. It looked as though the air was about to be sucked dry out of the place.
"Alright Miles, check out the paintings. I'll be back in a second. "Uncle Bob paused, "You have my number. Call me if you need me."
Miles mumbled OK still awestruck.

The New York State museum was really a marvel. It was unlike anything Gwen Stacy had ever dreamed of.
For all she knew, it was founded around 1836. And if her memory served her right, by Governor William Marcy.
The place was benevolently beautiful.
"Who's the class representative? " The tour guide asked.
She was a young lady, around twenty five. Or probably younger. Gwen thought.
"Me, ma'am. "
"Alright, follow me then. The rest of you can stay here."
***
"So, it's your first time here, uh? " The lady asked.
"Yes ma'am. "
"Oh you can call me Diana. " Diana said, "Anyways I need your help here. There are too many guests in here. Your professor tells me your class is exhibiting, " Diana said, exhausted, "The place closes by 5pm on Tuesday. Hope they're not so many projects. "
Diana picked up one of the many boxes besides her, "Here, help me move them to the first floor. "
Gwen wasn't complaining. It felt so good being needed. Not just by anyone. But a guide. A guide of the New York State museum.

Gwen was taking her final box when someone caught her eye.
"Miles? "
