Chapter 14

"Peter Parker. Peter Parker. Peter Parker. " Miles kept drowsing.
"What now doc? What should we do? "
"Let him relax. He'll be fine. Probably a chemical reaction in his brain causing visions. " The doctor paused, "You sure he has no eye problems, Miss Denett! "

"You can call me, Daisy. Anyways, no. I've been with Miles since his birth.  I'm his mother you know. " She paused, "Let me first see Bob for a sec. Be right back. "
  Miss Denett rushed out.

"It's my fault. All my fault." Bob kept saying, "My fault. "
"What do you mean it's your fault?! " Miss Denett asked, curiously.
"I'm sorry but Miles' life is in danger because of me. " He knelt down weeping.
"Hey, it's OK. Bob look at me. He's fine. Tell me what happened. "

Bob relaxed, "We were at the subway doing some art work--you know, the graffiti and stuff. Then all over a sudden Miles cried out. " Bob paused. "He said something had bitten him. Back then I thought it was just a spider. Might have been something totally different. "

Miss Denett sighed, "It has nothing to do with that Bob. Doctor says it's Tepezza. Poor Miles might have drunk it from somewhere. "
Bob sighed. "Oh, now that's good news. I couldn't help feeling myself guilty. Anyways how's he doing? "
"Fine! He'll be up in a few hours. "
"Hey, how about you go home and get some sleep. I'll look after him. "
"You sure! "
"Of course. He's my nephew remember. "
"Alright, " Miss Denett grinned, "Lemme leave uncles with their nephews. Bye. "
