Chapter2: party?

As Peter and Ned walk to school together they stop in front of the Deli-Market. It was burned down, and surrounded by warning tape. "So...do you lay eggs?" Ned asked, Peter gave him a weird look then laughed

"What? No." Peter said.

When they got to school Ned asked questions non stop.
"Can you spit venom?"

-"no Ned."

"Can you summon an army of spiders?"

-"no shut up,Ned"

"How far can you shoot your webs?"

????

"Just go to the highest building and shoot your webs-"

-"shut up!"

(During Gym class)

"Have you met him?" Ned asked,whispering to Peter.he looked at the small tv, captain America on the screen.

"Yeah," peter whispers back. "I stole is shield." Peter whispered back.

"Sick." Ned said impressed.

While peter and Ned were doing sit ups and still talking about peter being Spider-Man.

Laura and MJ were talking about how Laura almost died last night. "So I heard on the news, are you okay?" MJ asked her friend as she laid on her back reading her book, while pretending to do exercises.

"Yeah, just got a bruise on my shoulder." Laura said, shrugging it off.

"So who saved you?" MJ asked looking up from her book, Laura looked at her then tenses up.

"Spider-Man....yeah, he took me to my apartment then left." Laura said, trying not to mention that Peter was Spider-Man.

"Okay." MJ said rolling out the 'Kay' part. Laura sighed In relief.

"Peter knows Spider-Man!" Ned yelled over too Liz and her group of friends.

"You do?" Liz asked, kinda exited.

"Yeah he's peters friend, just like captain America and coach!" Flash says,laughing.

Laura glares at him, the looks back at peter and Liz.

"I mean I know him through the stark internship....but I'm not supposed to talk about it!" Peter says, yelling the last part at Ned.

"Maybe spider man should come to Liz's party." Flash said teasing peter.

"Y-your having a party?" Peter asks nervously.

"Yeah, but I'm sure peter doesn't have time for that." Liz says looking at flash.

"Actually I-I can go." Peter says, Liz did one of her little fake smiles "cool, see you there."Liz says walking away.

Peter turns his head a gives Ned a angry look, "what was that!?" He whispers to him, "I was trying to help you out." Ned says.

"She said she likes Spider-Man. Dude Liz has a crush on you!" Ned says making things better.

"Yeah," peter smiles, he then sees Laura from the corner of his eyes.

"Look I know Laura knows your secret too, I think you should talk to her. Wasn't she like your first kiss or something?" Ned asked, peter blushed.

"Yeah, in like 2nd grade."peter says, he saw Laura talking to MJ.

(After school)

As Laura was walking out of the school, she felt someone pull her to the side of the building.
She looked up to see peter, "Laura, do you remember last night?"he asked, Laura bit her lip.

"Yes, why didn't you tell me sooner?" She asked him, he looked at her with sad eyes.

"L , I don't want you getting hurt. I can't let you get hurt." He says, Laura nods. A small blush forming across her nose.

"I won't tell anyone, but promise me you won't end up hurting yourself."Laura asked peter, he smiled.

"I promise."he says with a cute smile.

Laura smiled back, "we'll see tonight I guess, and maybe Spider-Man too?" She asked,laughing.

"Errr, stupid Ned." Peter groaned, Laura laughed then left.

"Are we seriously going to this stupid party?" MJ groans while eating her bag of Doritos.

Laura laughed, "yes, but don't worry there's gonna be free food." She says hoping to cheer up her friend.

"And suddenly I'm interested." MJ says.

After Laura put on a clean party outfit on, she left her apartment along with MJ. (Laura's outfit below)

"Maybe we should leave."peter says, he was nervous to enter liz's party. After all they were expecting Spider-Man to arrive.

"Look I know your getting older know and life can get weird..." peters Aunt was saying, "haha."peter said sarcastically with a smile. "Lets go."peter said to Ned in the back seat.

When they entered the party MJ spotted them, "I can't believe you guys are at this lame party." She said with a careless look.

"Your here too."Ned said, MJ furrowed her eyebrows.

"Am I?" She questions while taking a bite of a pop tart then walks away.

"Hey guys." A voice popped out of no where, peter recognized that cute voice. It was Laura.

"Hey laura, like my hat?" Ned asks pointing to his hat.

Laura laughed, "yeah, it's.....pretty cool."she said with a laugh.

"So what are you gonna do about a certain someone showing up tonight?" Laura asks, obviously speaking about Spider-Man.

"Well....." peter says.

"So here's the plane... peters gonna get the costume on then 'Bam!' Zip threw there and be like 'it is me Spider-Man!' "Ned says, Laura gives a confused look.

"Or I can just enjoy the party and take whatever flash has to say about me." Peter says, he then saw Liz walking towards them.

"Hey peter,Ned and.... Laura." She says, but when she said Laura's name she said it like poison.

Laura lifted an eyebrow at this, "hey Liz, how's life?" She asked sipping her punch that she got a while ago.

Liz just stared at her, "okay.....bye guys." Laura waved off,she then walked towards MJ who was stealing all of the food.

Peter watched as she left,her hair blowing behind her. Peter was snapped out of his trance when Liz started talking.

"Well its great to see you guys here, enjoy the party."she said then left.

"What was that?" Ned asked peter.

"What was what?" He asked.

"The way you looked at Laura." Ned says smirking.

"What are you-what are you talking about?"peter asks with a confused face.

Ned gave him a 'I know your secret' look, peter gave him a wide eyed look in response.

" you totally like her." Ned says.

"Well yeah,she's my friend." Peter says, ouch friend zoned.

"Hey I'll be right back." As peter said that he walked off.

"I think we should go." Laura says as MJ stuffs a Rice crispy in her mouth.

Laura gives her a funny look, "what? But the food." MJ says while finishing her snacks.

Laura laughed then shrugged, "I guess you could stay here, but I need to get home. I forgot my sister has to work late, which means ya girl has babysitting duty." Laura says, MJ frowns.

"We'll see you tomorrow loser." MJ says waving to her friend.

"See ya."Laura says walking away.

(- at Laura's apartment-)

"Okay so I made 4 bottles in a fridge, all you have to do is microwave them. And she gets really sleepy afterwards so she'll be fine." Laken, Laura's sister says.

Laura was holding Ava her sisters 8 month old baby, she had dark brown hair and baby green eyes. She couldn't walk yet, only crawl.

"Okay I'm leaving, take care." Laken says, waving bye to her sister and baby.

"Bye Laken!" Laura says, Ava looked up at her. She starting giggling.

"Okay Ava, it's just you and Auntie L." Laura says in a baby voice, Ava looks up and claps her chubby little hands.

After about 30 minutes Ava had fallen asleep, Laura put her in her crib then walked to her room.

She changed in some pajama shorts and an oversized t-shirt. She looked threw her phone, she then heard a tap on her window.

She got scared for a moment then went to see it was peter, she opened the window.

"Peter? What are you doing here?" She asked in a sleepy voice, she noticed peter was in his Spider-Man costume.

He didn't have his mask on and his hair was a little damp.

" Laura, you won't believe what happened-"peter was cut off by the sound of a baby crying.

"Hold on." Laura says, as she walked out of her room.

Ava was crying in her sleep, Laura picked her up and gave her her binkie. She then walked back to her room.

"Okay you were saying?"she asked, he looked to see she held a little baby in her arms.

"Is that a baby?" He asked, he looked at it in awe.

She nodded, "anyways, I was chasing after these guys and then this giant hawk guy picked me up like 100 feet in the air then dropped me in a lake!"he says, Laura looked at him for a sec.

" Jesus Christ, peter! Are you okay?"she asked, worry in her face.

Peter saw this and looked at her "yeah, I'm alright. Anyways I should go." He said, noticing that right now wasn't a good time.

Ava then started shuffling in Laura's arms then woke up, Ava noticed peter and lifted her hands towards him.

"I think she wants you to carry her." Laura says laughing. Peter looked at the baby then smiled.

Laura gave Ava to peter, he didn't look nervous like other guys would be while holding a baby, he looked pretty calm.

Ava looked at peter than grabbed his hair, she started playing with it.

"Ouch, that my hair." Peter laughs at Ava.

Laura laughed then walked over towards them.

"Okay Ava, lets not play with peters hair." She says while grabbing Ava's little hands taking them out of peters hair.

Peter than gave Ava to Laura, he looked at her and smiled. He didn't know yet but he really does like Laura, more than just friends.

Laura looked up at him and laughed, "your hairs all messed up."she says, she then brushed her fingers threw his hair making it neat again.

Peter than blushes, then walks towards her window, "see you tomorrow L." He says then jumps out, and webs his way to his apartment.

"Bye." Laura say, as she looks towards Ava.
