Chapter6:no more spider-man

When Laura and peter had gotten back to school after the whole fiasco that had happened at Washington, everything seemed to have changed.

Laura was just at a total lost, still processing of what had happened 2 weeks ago. She almost died, and her crush since 2nd grade had saved her life.

But then again, peter somehow still had his eyes on Liz. But for some reason Laura was on his mind instead of Liz.

Peter had gotten detention for skipping out on the nationals trip, so he had to go after school today and sit in a boring classroom.

Peter looked at the clock than gave an annoyed look, he should be going after the Vulture and his team of bad guys.

Peter was finally fed up and stood up in the middle of detention, grabbed his backpack then left.not even caring he would get in trouble.

The detention teacher looked up from his book, "what come back here." He said in a low tone,not really caring that peter had left.

He than noticed MJ sitting behind the seat that peter  was sitting in. The teacher gave her a confused look.

"Why are you even here? You don't have detention."he said in a lazy voice, MJ shrugged.

"I like to draw people in crisis."she said with a smug smile.

She then showed him a drawing of him with a bubble note at the top reading 'who am I?'

He nodded than looked back at his book.

As peter ran threw the halls he bumped into someone, he looked down to see he had bumped into Laura.

She looked up at him and gave a funny look, "aren't you supposed to be in detention?"she asked.

"I'm going somewhere."peter says,he smiles at her than walks away.

Laura starred as he walked away from her,she then turned around to walk the other way.

(After peter had almost destroyed the Fairy-boat)

"Look,I was only doing what I thought I was supposed to do!" Peter yelled at Tony stark.

"It's not like your even here anyways.."peter says,and tight on cue tony had stepped out of the iron man suit.

Peter backed away slightly in surprise, "I didn't ask you to destroy a boat,peter." Tony says,peter looks up at him with a sorry look.

"I was-I was just trying to be like you." Peter says looking down.

"And I wanted you to be better." Tony says, he than looked at peter.

"Also I heard you told someone your spider-man, really cute girl... Laura's her name? Anyways, now that she bows your Spider-Man she's in big danger." Tony says,peters eyes widen at that.

"I'm sorry Mr.Stark, I really-"peter was cut off by tony.

"I don't need a sorry, peter. I need your suit."tony says, holding his hands out.

Peter looks up in surprise, "my-my suit?"he asks, tony nodded his head.

"Mr. Stark , I'm nothing without this suit!" Peter says, tony stepped forward towards him.

"If your nothing without this suit, you shouldn't have it." He says, peter looked down.

"I don't have a change of clothes."peter says,

"Not a problem."tony says.

Peter walks up to his apartment, wearing hello kitty pajama pants and a 'I survived New York' shirt.

He dragged his feet to his apartment door, he slowly opened it.

Aunt may quickly shot up, she started hugging him.

"Peter!! Where were you!!?? I've called 15 different police stations, don't think that I don't know you sneak out at night, peter-"she stopped and looked up at him, tears forming in his eyes as he sat on the couch.

"I lost-I lost the stark internship."his voice cracks as aunt may Hugs him.

As Laura was reading her favorite book, she heard a knock on her window.

She quickly got up out of bed and opened the window letting peter in.

"Hey peter," Laura says,peter looks up from under his hoodie.

His eyes were red from crying, and his nose was red. Laura quickly ran up to him.

"What's wrong?" She asks in a soft voice, her hands cupping his face.

"I'm sorry L, I'm sorry I put you in danger." He says, tears falling from his eyes.

Laura wiped the tears away, then smiled.

"Peter,you didn't put me in danger, I'm here aren't I?"she asks, he looked at her.

Laura looked at peter, than she leaned in a little. Peter inched closer as well, he than grabbed her waist.

He kissed her, Laura kissed back. She placed her hands in his curly brown hair, pulling him closer.

They than both pulled away, touching foreheads.

Laura smiles, she noticed she was standing on her tippy toes.

Peter looked down as well laughing, "why are you so short?"he asks, playing.

She smirks at him, "why are you so tall?"she asked him, he laughed.

She stepped on his shoes making her a little bit taller now. She than leaned in and kissed him again, she felt like she was dreaming. 'Was this real?' 'Am I high right now?'

Hey, sorry if this chapter was a little cliche towards the end. But I mean this is a fanfic so there's gonna be a lot of cliche moments.🤷🏽‍♀️
