Laura and MJ were getting ready for nationals, to be honest Laura was completely nervous. While MJ was just really calm about it.

Laura puts on her cloths than her nationals blazer over it. (Outfit below)

"Lets go,we don't wanna be late." MJ says, Laura nods then walks out of there room behind her.

As they passed by peters and Ned's room, Liz was there.

"Hurry up were gonna be late!" Liz yelled, politely.

"Y-yeah, just a sec!" You could here Ned muffle behind the door, Laura new that peter wasn't here.

She started to worry, were could he be?

As peter walked around the storage room trying to figure out a way to get he got an idea.

"Maybe there's something useful in that bag..." he says, referring to the left behind bag that the Vulture had dropped during there fight.

He walked over too it and started grabbing things out of it.

"Nope," he says ,throwing random junk out of the bag.

"That's cool."he says , throwing a robot head out of the bag.

He then pulled a glowing thing out of it,much similar to the one Ned has.

"Hey Karen,do you now what this is?" Peter asks holding the purple glowing rock.

"That is an alien tech charger,but it is also nuclear." Karen says, peter panicked.

"You mean Ned's carrying around a bomb!" He screams, he than quickly grabs his phone and dials Ned's number.

"Come on! Come on!" Peter repeats hoping for an answer but instead gets a voicemail.

"We have to get out of here!" He screams, then slings over to the exit and starts to bang the doors.

"Come on!! Someone open this door!" He screams trying to pry the doors open.

"Test number 257, success." Karen says, as the doors open, peter quickly ran out.

Headed towards the national monument, to warn his friends.

"This last question will be the last and final, whoever gets the correct answer wins this years nationals." The lady says over the mike.

Laura bit her lip, it was a nervous habit of hers. She tapped her pencil trying to fiver out the questions answer.

Everyone seemed to be lost even the other school, then a sudden 'ding' was heard.

"Yes?" The lady asks, Laura faced her head towards MJ hoping she would get the correct answer.

MJ gave a careless look than opened her mouth, "zero,"she says, the lady looked up and nodded 'yes'

They all cheered for MJ, Laura hugged her. So did everyone else, MJ gave a quick smile.

After they won they took there picture, MJ and Laura sat in front of the monument.

"You sure you don't wanna come?" Laura asked MJ,

"Yeah, you sure. You should admire it, its history." Mr.flint says,as MJ looked up at the tall building.

She nodded, "I wouldn't wanna celebrate something that was built by slaves."she says, Laura laughs at the typical MJ.

"I'm sure it wasn't built by slaves..." Mr.flint,turns towards a security guard who makes a hand jester.

"Well, are you going Laura?"he asked Laura, who was taking her nationals blazer off .

"Um sure."she says, MJ sent her a wave as she left.

Peter ran towards the national monument in his Spider-Man suit, people giving him weird looks.

He than tried to call Ned again, to warn him.

As Laura walked up to turn in her phone, she saw liz pick up Ned's phone.

"Peter, I can't believe you didn't come!"she screams over the phone, she than hung up.

Laura than turned her phone in and got in the elevator, she was standing next to Ned.

"This is the national Monument...." the scout lady says, sounding very uninterested.

Laura sighed then looked over to Ned's backpack,she saw a purple glow.

"Is your backpack supposed to be glowing?"she asks lifting an eyebrow.

"What?"he asks then all of a sudden a purple laser beam shot out of his backpack.

Laura quickly backed a way from it, Ned then threw his backpack off.

"What the hell was that!?" Laura screams as the elevator stopped.

From outside of the building everyone could see the building shake, little pieces of stone falling from the top.

Peter quickly ran towards it, he looked up in shock.

"Hey,my friends are up there!" MJ yelled standing up, pointing up to the national monument.

"Uh,don't worry miss." Peter says, then jumps and climbs on the building.

Meanwhile in the elevator, Laura was panicking. She didn't want to die like this.

"Don't worry everything will be fine, we are completely safe, the emergency elevator button is going to work." The scout lady says, calming down Laura.

They then opened up the top elevator escape door, one by one people started to get out.

Flash pushed Ned out of the way then got out,making sure the trophy was safe.

Laura was about to get out, when all of a sudden the elevator started moving.

"Is that a good sign?"Ned asked,Laura then looked up.

The elevator snapped,then they started falling. Laura let out a scream,tears spilling out of her eyes.

Then all of a sudden they stopped, Laura shakily opened her eyes.

She saw spider-man pulling them up with a web, Laura sighed in a relief.

"Are ya-are ya guys alright?" Peter asked in a New Jersey accent, Ned looked at him in awe.

"You saved us,that was so cool."he says jumping around the elevator.

"Aye!aye! Big guy stop with the moving!"peter yelled in panic.

Once they reached to the exit again, everyone got out one by one.

Laura was the last one in the elevator, she standing in the corner scared to move.

"Come on L,"peter whispered towards her, Laura slowly walked out of her corner.

The elevator made a crack noice then Laura went falling, she screamed.

"Noooo!!!!" Peter screamed,then tried to grab her hand.

He couldn't reach in time, so he shot a web at her hand to stop her from falling.

Laura looked up, tears in her eyes. Her breathing was shaken, "I've got you."peter says,pulling her towards him.

He then placed her on the ground, she looked up at him her eyes glossy with tears. She opened her mouth to say something, but peter then fell.

Mr.flint looked over the black hole, then held up the trophy.

"Thank you!"he yelled,

As everyone was resurfaced on the ground, parents were storming towards there scared kids.

The news were interviewing some kids,
"Everyone was scared like p*ssy's, that shit was crazier than a Bonjovi concert."one kid says.

Laura stood by herself,she didn't have anyone there for her besides MJ, but she was with her parents.

Laura was still frightened by what had happened,she almost died. But peter saved her, she then looked up to look for peter to thank him.

She saw him all of a sudden appear from behind a news truck, she quickly ran towards him engulfing him in a hug.

He was brought back in surprise,but then hugged her back. He hugged her really tight,not wanting to lose her ever.

"t-thank you." Laura says, in a whispered voice as tears spill from her eyes.

Peter pulls away than looks at her face, "I couldn't just let you die."he says, making her smile as she wipes away tears.

"Your my literal hero." Laura say,peter smiled at her. He was glad she was safe, he didn't know what he'd do if she was gone.

I'm thinking of making a Tom Holland Imagines book, but I don't know if I should.
