Okay I know a lot of people write very romantic Peter Parker fanfics and it just sort of gets annoying after a while

Not for example, disclaimer: I read a very good romantic Peter Parker fic by Tea's friend Eleanor who I've heard about and followed on another account (I swear I'm not a stalker this is probably very weird for you I apologize) which was absolutely excellent and very high quality, and they had a whole slew of Marvel books she has also written that are high quality as well.

Anyways, but I'm talking like those cringey fanfics that are just about rOmAnCE and aren't really even involved with Marvel?? You know what I'm talking about right?

I'm not like shaming anyone for writing Peter Parker fanfics, I just find it funny that after Homecoming a lot of "Marvel fans" have showed up all of a sudden??? It's sort of hard to explain what I'm talking about but I just find it ANNOYING

Okay so ten seconds later I'm writing this paragraph and I know what I meant!! I guess I'm trying to say that people are writing fanfic about Peter Parker for the thought of a character like him without actually trying to portray him accurately, which is very frustrating because they're just in it for the romance.

If that makes any sense?? Like please write about the character FROM a love of the character, not the love of what you THINK the character is like/would be like to date
