I'm still so mad about Charlottesville and life so I'm going to rant about something

• There is no place for White Nationalism / Fascism / Neo-Nazism in modern day America.

Okay, I usually don't take a side in politics and prefer to remain a solid neutral, but this is unacceptable. We fought the Nazis so that the world would be a safe place for all, not for white men. I'm so mad that the Neo-Nazi movement now has a hold in America, and now we're fighting ourselves.

• If we don't condemn these actions, that's not American.

While America does stand for freedoms, one of those being the freedom of speech (much as we all hate it sometimes) not standing up against these hateful parties isn't doing your civil duty. I know that a lot of people aren't proud to be American, but a lot of people still are. Just because you don't like Trump doesn't mean you can't be proud of where you live, the freedoms we've fought for and what we've done in the world.

I know that this is oddly patriotic (rare, I'm aware) but enemies don't have a place in America. This goes for neo-Nazis, terrorists, fascists, homophobes, islamophobes, etc.

• to set the record straight, there is violence on both sides of the political spectrum.

Yes, there are very violent anti-Trump people who will never be satisfied, no longer how many good things may happen. Violent riots and destruction of civilian property is not allowed. For all of this to be over, to actually move towards peace maybe, both sides of the political spectrum must surrender their violence.

I'm not condemning peaceful anti-Trump protests and rallies. I'm condemning those who destroy public property just because Trump exists, people who don't stand up during the National Anthem, those who shout "f*ck the police!" and those who are narrow minded and believe that there's only one group to blame for our problems; white men.

No. Everyone is to blame. This is our America. We all live under the same flag and live under the same freedoms. We are the United States of America, so let's keep it that way and at least try to fix our problems.
