"Tamaki~"

"n-no...stop this..."

"You can never get rid of me, you know..."

"I don't understand, wh-what do you want...?"

"you know what I want..."

"...stop...you're not-"

"What I want..."

"get away from me! -gh?!"

"is... your..."

A sudden crack and snap in the neck awakens the elf from his overly consistent nightmare, making him rise suddenly and tremble from the hold that his dreams held on him. Tamaki held his throat as he breathed heavily and unevenly, the silence in his bedroom being drowned out by his struggle to calm down. In his panic, he glanced at the clock beside the queen bed he laid in. 2:30 am, it read, with its digital glowing red font in the darkness of the room. Tamaki could still feel those gloved hands around his neck, the heaviness of his once captor's body over his, the lust-filled whispers passing his ears. The thought made Tamaki only tremble more, trying to stay calm yet failing quite miserably.

Tamaki tried to count as he hugged himself, soon flinching when he felt a touch on his shoulder from his right. He turned his head quickly and slightly froze, his eyes connecting with a pair of beautiful, blue worried eyes, the hand trailing to Tamaki's cheek. He laid his head against the other's hand, starting to feel a little bit better as he struggled to speak. However, the taller blonde male beside him in bed beat Tamaki to the punch.

"Hey...Sunshine, you alright? Did you have another..?" He trailed off, tilting his head in concern.

Tamaki nodded slowly, "y-yeah... it was... pretty awful... it's the same thing almost every night... I'm starting to wonder why..."

"You have gone through a lot, Tama. But, I'm here for you every step of the way! I will protect you because I love you!"

Tamaki slightly chuckled at his partner's words, a faint smile drifting onto his face before slowly fading as he spoke, "Just...don't get hurt, Mirio...I don't need you getting hurt... especially if it's my fault..."

Mirio frowned for a second before having an optimistic smile, "That will never be your fault, Tamaki. I'll try not to get hurt though. I am Lemillion after all!"

Tamaki nodded softly as Mirio gently pulled his boyfriend closer and into a gentle embrace. The moon's light was slightly peaking through their black curtains as the darkness surrounding them was no longer unseeable. Mirio then gently laid himself and Tamaki back down into their pillows, wrapping his arms around his elf as Tamaki did the same. Tamaki then buried his face into Mirio's clothed chest as Mirio took their long, silky yet soft blanket and wrapped it their bodies.

Tamaki yawned as he nuzzled into Mirio, feeling a small peck on his head that caught his attention. He glanced up, catching Mirio's bright blue eyes as they stared into his own cute yet tiny black eyes. The sudden eye contact and gesture made Tamaki only blush a little bit, "M-Mirio...?"

"Hm? Yes, kitten?" He asked with a grin as Tamaki's blush worsened a bit from the nickname, only to fade as fast as it came.

"you don't think...he will get out...right...?" Tamaki asked, fear and worry laced into his words.

Mirio shook his head, a confident look on his face, "Nope! You have nothing to fear now, my love. He's locked up and he can no longer harm you anymore."

Before Tamaki had time to protest in worry or anything, Mirio stole his lips into a kiss, making Tamaki squeak a bit before going silent. He slowly melted into the passion and kissed his lover back, the few seconds of them kissing feeling short as Mirio pulled away with a cheeky grin.

"You have nothing to fear love. I will be there for you, no matter what happens..."

Tamaki was still a bit shocked from the kiss, only nodding before letting out another yawn. He could feel his eyes blink in slow motion before the heaviness in his eyelids took over, shutting them on instinct. This began to allow Tamaki to sleep once more while he and Mirio held each other for the rest of the night.

In the span of a few hours, the sun began to rise. Its morning light breaks through the cracks of the blinds and the curtains, its rays shining in the bedroom of the apartments where one can find two of the popular heroes known as Suneater and Lemillion. The two were still in there sound asleep after last night's terror.

The sun's deadly glare forced Tamaki to rise out of bed in slight annoyance, a small wince, and groan emitting from his lips. After failing to hide from the sun, Tamaki slowly slithered from Mirio's grasp and began to take his time sitting up and stretching his body. Once Tamaki stopped stretching his sore body, he climbed out of bed and went towards the bathroom door within the room, opening it and stepping inside.

Tamaki then slowly shut the door and locked it, feeling the cold white tiles on his bare feet. He then flipped the lights on, facing and staring at his reflection in the mirror in front of him. As he looked back at himself, a small twist of shame in his eyes began to form as he held a staring contest with himself.

'you're fine, Tamaki... he's in jail still, you have Mirio, and you were forgiven by the heroes... everything should be ok then... right...?'

Tamaki thought to himself as he washed his face, finally looking away from the reflection for a while. He turned the water cold on, cupping the liquid into his hands before splashing the cold running water onto his face a few times. Tamaki soon turned the faucet off and dried his face with a nearby navy blue towel. Then he inevitably looked up at the mirror again, only his eyes widened in horror. Tamaki was seeing a figure in the reflection of the mirror, the glowing eyes of the shadow staring into his own eyes. Tamaki then quickly jerked his head around in hopes to see the shadowed figure, but it vanished from sight the moment Tamaki glance away.

Tamaki then reluctantly looked at the mirror one last time, seeing that the figure was gone in the reflection as well.

"What... what was that...?" Tamaki muttered to himself, staring at the mirror for what felt like an eternity before finally unlocking the door, turning the lights off, and then leaving the bathroom to go back into his and Mirio's bed.

When Tamaki stepped out, he was relieved to still see his boyfriend asleep in their bed. Tamaki fully came out and shut the door to the bathroom quietly before beginning to undress. He decided to go for a comfortable look, throwing on some black sweatpants and one of Mirio's shirts for personal comfort. Once Tamaki was done changing, he quietly left out of the bedroom and into the connected hallway towards their kitchen to start making some breakfast.

He took his time walking through the hallway, his eyes drifting to the pictures he and Mirio hung on the walls when they had moved in. A smile slowly formed before a sudden ping to his head made it disappear. It felt like a stinging pain in his head, causing the elf to falter and nearly fall to his knees from the excruciating pain. Luckily, Tamaki caught himself with the wall before he completely fell, panting heavily in fear as he tried to recover.

'wh-what was that...? My head hurts suddenly...' Tamaki thought as he kept walking to the kitchen, trying to ignore the migraine in his head. However, his body froze in fear as he heard a voice pass by his ears. A voice he never thought would come to haunt him ever again. One he prayed he would never hear again. Tamaki glanced around in fear, trying to see if someone was in the house, the panic inside his body getting worse as he shook and started to begin hyperventilating. Tamaki felt ready to curl up and collapse before feeling a cold embrace around him, something breathing in his ear that made Tamaki freeze up in tension and fear.

"~found you, Amajiki~"
