After Quentin was arrested, in a few months he was put on trial for all his crimes, and was found guilty of all charges, and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. And as Matt predicted, Quentin Beck was the laughingstock of the criminal underworld because he got his ass handed to him by a teenager. And a teenager who was literally shorter than him by 2 inches! A week after the trial, Jessica had given birth to a healthy baby girl whom she and Luke named Danielle. Peter was at the coffee shop with his girlfriend MJ. Also with them was Matt and Jennifer. Her She-Hulk form was now a permanent form, but Jennifer was going to accept that this was who she was now. "So Jess must be really happy that she's a mother now, huh?" Peter asked as he sipped his coffee. "Yeah, she loves little Dani," said Matt as he smiled. "How are things going for you Miss Walters?" MJ asked. "Things are alright," said Jen, "Bruce has really helped me come to grips with all this. But yeah, I'm good. How's high school treating you two?"

"It's the same old, same old," said Peter. "Flash is still in disbelief that Peter's Spider-Man," said MJ as she smirked. "I know, right?" Peter said, "but after a while, he's warmed up, and we've buried the hatchet. So Flash and I are on good terms." Matt smiled and said, "it's always good when you can make peace with an old rival. They say that the best of friends often start out as rivals sometimes." Suddenly, an old man walked up to Peter, MJ, Matt, and Jen. "Hey Queens." The old man said to Peter. At first, Peter didn't understand, then he recognized who the old man was. It was Steve Rogers, otherwise known as Captain America! "Cap?" Peter asked in disbelief. Steve smiled and nodded. "Guys, this is Steve Rogers," introduced Peter. "Wait, THE Captain America?" Matt asked in astonishment, having been a fan of Captain America since he was a kid. Jen of course had met the Super Soldier on many occasions. In fact, she was his defense attorney after The Snap. So she was able to recognize him. "Former Captain America," said Steve, "that honor goes to Sam now. Glad to see your life's getting better, Parker."

"I wouldn't have made it this far without MJ and my friends," said Peter. "We're very honored to meet you Mr. Rogers," said Matt as he smiled and shook his hand. "The honor is mine, Mr. Murdock," said Steve, "the three of you have proven to be great heroes, and you have my respect. As you can tell, I've enjoyed retirement. But there will come a day when there will be a threat more dangerous than Thanos. And when that threat comes, the world will need The Avengers. That's why we're putting together a team of new Avengers. And so I have to ask... Spider-Man, Daredevil, and She-Hulk... How would the three of you like to be part of The New Avengers?" The three heroes were astonished. "Do you really mean that Cap?" Jen asked. "You've more than earned it," said Steve. "I'm in if Matt and Jen are in," promised Peter. Matt smiled and said, "Well, I can't say no to my childhood hero. Count me in." Jen smiled and said, "I'd be honored to join the team. Count me in too." Steve smiled, shook each of their hands, and said, "Well then, welcome to The New Avengers." MJ kissed Peter as a way of showing congratulations. Peter was overwhelmed with happiness. Now his life was moving forward for the better. And he wouldn't have it any other way as Spider-Man.
