Epilogue

A year and a half later

The Cat's Jewel was a taken by a buzzing crowd outside, eagerly awaiting to enter the esteemed establishment.

Once a high end restaurant, the Cat's Jewel was redone into a club and casino, with nightly shows.

A group of partiers entered, gossiping about the club.

Partier 1: You know, I hear that the guy that runs this place was a big time thief.

Partier 2: Yeah! He was one of those villains who brought down Mayor Osborn!

A heftily built man in a suit stood at the inner entrance to the club.

Man: Names?

The partiers gave their names, continuing their conversation as the man checked for their names.

Partier 3: So the owner was, like, a super villain?

Partier 2: Something like that.

This caught the man's attention.

Man: Mr. Malcolm is one of the most upstanding citizens in New York, I couldn't imagine him being a 'super villain'.

The partiers went quiet after the man spoke.

The man found the partiers name.

Man: There you are, Come on through.

The partiers went into the club merrily as the man brushed sand off of his shoulder.

Inside the club, a magician on the stage of the club was performing his next act.

The magician wore a mage like green robe, and spoke with a affluent tone.

Magician: Now, Ladies and gentlemen, prepare to be amazed!

An assistant rolled a bird in a cage on stage.

The magician picked up the cage.

Magician: Now, with the power of the Old Gods, I shall make this bird disappear!

With a swing of his cape over the cage, the cage and bird disappeared, leaving the audience in awestruck applause.

With a flick of his wrist, the magician made the bird appear in his hand as the audience continued to applaud.

Magician: Thank you! Thank you!

While the magician basked in his glory, a man in a well fitting suit watched from the V.I.P bar above the first floor.

Man: What a show off.

The man from up front entered the bar.

Man: Malcolm, we got word on the Brooklyn deal.

The man speaking was Sandman, and the other was you.

You: Don't leave me waiting.

Sandman: It went through, we got a supply line in Brooklyn now.

You: Excellent, that's more money in our bank accounts.

Sandman: Sure is, Malcolm.

A woman with white hair and wearing an expensive dress entered the bar.

Sandman turned to see her.

Sandman: I'll leave you two alone.

Sandman left, leaving you alone with Cat.

You poured two glasses of expensive wine and gave one to Cat.

Cat: Well...we made it.

You: We did honey, we did.

You kissed Cat lightly.

You pulled from Cat and sipped from your wine glass.

You: Everything is almost perfect.

Cat: Almost?

You: Yeah...

You pulled a box with an engagement ring inside from your pocket.

You: Almost.

Meanwhile, a man at the first floor bar watched you and Cat.

Tony Stark

Tony spoke to himself.

Tony: So...you're Malcolm...

Tony sipped his drink.
