(The next day)

Y/N's P.O.V

So, Jordan has just called me to a crime and I show up as Spider-Man.

I walk over to the scene.

Y/N: Captain.

He turns to me.

Jordan: Ah, perfect timing.

He and I walk together.

Y/N: So, what did you want me to see?

Jordan lifts a tarp off the dead body that has had his head blown off.

Jordan: This is, or was David Rutenburg. He worked for Lewis Snart.

Y/N: Damn. I think this guy might be apart of Snart's crew.

Jordan: So, Snart put a bomb in him to keep him in line.

Y/N: No, Snart wouldn't do that, but his father would.

Jordan: So, Lewis is killing people and Snart's still working with him? What happened to the deal you had?

Y/N: Maybe he doesn't have a choice.

Jordan: You think Lewis put a bomb in his own son to force him to pull off a heist?

Y/N: Nah, Snart still wouldn't do it. He'd dig the bomb out of his on head if he had to.

Jordan: So there must be something else Snart cares about.

My eyes widen.

Y/N: Or someone. The only thing Snart cares about is his sister. I gotta go.

Jordan: Okay, good luck.

I nod. 

Y/N: Thanks.

I leave the crime scene and go back to the cave.

(Three hours later)

We've now found out that Lisa has a bomb in her head and that's why Snart is working with his dad. 

I've decided to go undercover in Snart's crew as their tech guy is now dead.

Hopefully I can buy the other's enough time to get the bomb out. 

I walk in and over to Snart wearing all black.

Leonard: These visits are getting old.

Y/N: Third time's the charm.

Snart stands and looks at me.

Leonard: I told you, kid. I don't need saving.

Y/N: But your sister does. I know your dad put a bomb in Lisa. And Lewis told you he'd kill her if you didn't help him, right? Don't worry, my friends are working on a way to remove the bomb.

Just then Lewis comes in.

Lewis: Hope you got that gun of yours ready to blast, cause....

He sees me.

Lewis: Who the hell is this?

Y/N: Hey. I'm James. Lenny said you needed a new tech guy.

He looks to his son.

Lewis: You're telling me you think this kid can crack a Draycon keypad?

Y/N: I did help Snart steal the Kahndaq Dynasty Dimoand. That was locked up behind a Stark Industries Phase Three Suppression Door with a Draycon XL-1218 keypad. I can crack anything.

Snart looks at me.

Leonard: Couldn't have done it without him.

Lewis: Ah.... Okay, James. Let's go.

I then leave with the Snart's.

(One hour later)

The three of us make it through the building and up to the diamonds.

We're outside the elevators and see two guards.

They then leave and we make it to the room holding the diamonds.

Lewis: Okay, James. You're up.

Y/N: I got it.

I use the tech from the Spider Cave to break get the code and open the door.

Y/N: Oh yeah. Told you I got it.

Lewis goes over to the door.

Lewis: Nice job, kid. Always good to go out on a high note.

He pulls out his gun and shoots me in the chest.

This causes me to black out briefly

When I come to I'm on the floor.

I breath heavily and sit up.

Y/N: Whoa. That hurt.

I unbutton myself to see the vest I was wearing to protect myself.

Y/N: I'm glad that worked.

I quickly change into my suit and let the others know what's happening.

Y/N: Guys, are you there?

Jenna: Harry, it's Spider-Man.

Y/N: Harry, tell you got that bomb out.

Harry: I'm working on it, buddy.

Y/N: Just hurry. The heist is going down now.

I break through the door as Spider-Man and see that the two are about to leave.

Snart points his gun at me.

Y/N: You're going back to jail, Lewis.

Lewis: Ah. You wanna bet?

Y/N: Do I wanna bet?

Harry: Don't bet.

Y/N: Tell me this. What kind of man puts a bomb in his own daughter?

Lewis: A rich man.

He pulls out a device.

Lewis: Shoot him, son.

Snart hesitates.

Lewis: Kill him or you'll never see your sister alive.

I then hear Harry.

Harry: Spidey, he got the bomb out!

I look to Snart.

Y/N: Lisa's safe.

Lewis turns to his son and Snart quickly kills Lewis with the cold gun.

The older Snart falls to his knees.

Lewis: You're working with Spider-Man. I thought you hated him.

Leonard: Not as much as I... hate you.

Lewis falls forward and dies.

Snart kneels over his father's dead body.

I go over and take the cold gun from him.

Y/N: Lisa was safe. Why did you do that?

He looks up at me.

Leonard: He broke my sister's heart. Only fair I break his.

After that the cops show up and arrest Snart.

I wasn't able to save Lewis, but I saved his daughter and stopped the diamonds from being stolen.

(The next day)

I'm now at Rikers Island with Jordan as I've gone to see Snart.

He and I are sat with glass inbetween us.

Y/N: I've never visited anyone in prison before.

Leonard: I visited my dad a few times.

Y/N: Then you killed him.

Leonard: He deserved it.

I smile.

Leonard: Is that funny to you?

Y/N: No. What's funny is, I finally figured out your secret.

Leonard: And what would that be?

Y/N: You'd do anything to protect your sister.

Leonard: Well, I know your secret too. Better hope I don't talk in my sleep.

Y/N: You won't.

I lean forward.

Y/N: All this has just proved what I've always known. There's good in you, Snart.

He just stares at me.

Y/N: It's okay, you don't have to admit it to me. But there's a part of you that knows you don't have to let your past define you. A part of you that really wants to be more than just a criminal.

Leonard: So I should be a hero like you, Y/N. What does that pay again?

Y/N: It's just a matter of time. Something you'll have alot of in here.

Leonard: Not as much as you think. Be seein' you.

The guards take him away and I go over to Jordan.

Jordan: You really think that leopard's gonna change it's spots?

I sigh.

Y/N: I do. I mean crazier things have happened, but we should move him to a more secure cell, just in case.

Jordan: I'm already working on it.

We then leave Rikers Island.

I just know that one day Snart will make the right choice.

He'll become a hero one day.
