(The next day)

Y/N's P.O.V

So, today I'm on my way to the S.H.I.E.L.D helicarrier.

Though I'm still wondering what S.H.I.E.L.D plans to do with the Tesseract.

The quinjet lands and the ramp lowers.

I see Natasha Romanoff come over as I walk down the ramp.

Natasha: Y/N.

I smile.

Y/N: Natasha, it's good to see you again.

She and I hug.

Natasha: You too.

We then pull away.

After working together, Nat and I have become good friends.

It's sorta like getting another big sister.

Y/N: I just wish it was under better circumstances.

Natasha: Me too. Now, come on.

Y/N: Where we going?

Natasha: To meet Captain America.

Y/N: Oh, okay.

We walk off.

The two of us go over to another quinjet as it touches down.

The ramp lowers and we see Agent Coulson come out along with Captain America.

Coulson: Ah, Captain Steve Rogers. This is Agent Natasha Romanoff and Y/N Parker a.k.a Spider-Man.

Nat and I shake hands with him.

Y/N: It's good to meet you, Captain.

Steve: Likewise.

Natasha: Hi.

Coulson then heads to the bridge.

Once he's gone Nat and I walk with Captain Rogers.

Natasha: It was quite the buzz around here finding you in the ice. I thought Coulson was gonna swoon. Did he ask you to sign his Captain America trading cards yet?

Y/N & Steve: Trading cards?

Natasha: They're vintage, he's very proud.

We then look over to see Dr. Bruce Banner walking around the carrier.

Steve walks over and shakes his hand.

Steve: Dr. Banner.

Bruce: Oh, hi, they told me you be here.

Dr. Banner looks over to me.

Bruce: And you're the Spider-Kid right?

I shake his hand.

Y/N: Well, it's Spider-Man, but yeah sure. I'm Y/N Parker, it's nice to meet you, Dr. Banner.

Bruce: It's nice to meet you too.

Steve: So, word is you can find the Cube?

Banner looks around.

Bruce: Is that the only word on me?

Steve: It's the only one I care about.

Bruce: So, this must be strange for you?

Steve: Actually this is kind of familiar.

Nat then comes over to us.

Natasha: Gentleman, you might want to step inside now. It's gonna get harder to breathe.

We then hear sirens going off.

Steve: What is this, a submarine?

Bruce: Really? They want me in a submerged, pressurised metal container.

We then go to the edge and see the the carrier is going up into the air.

Bruce: Oh no, this is much worse.

Y/N: Hey, so, can we go inside now?

The other's agree with me so we head inside.

After getting inside we head to the bridge.

This place is actually insane.

Even though I've done missions for S.H.I.E.L.D before I've never been on the helliecarrier before.

Cap, Banner and I look around in awe.

I then see Nick come over to us.

Nick Fury: Welcome, gentlemen.

Rogers goes over to Fury and hands him ten dollars.

I guess they had a bet of some kind.

Fury goes over to Banner and talks with him.

I'm pretty much ignoring everything and look at the tech around me.

I come back to reality when I hear Fury speak up.

Nick Fury: Agent Romanoff, can you show Dr. Banner to the laboratory please?

Y/N: Oh, but Nick. What about that other thing I asked you aboht this morning?

He nods.

Nick Fury: Ah, right. Agent Coulson show Y/N she's okay.

Coulson nods and motions me to follow him.

He and I go down to a computer and look at the monitor as images of Jordan, Sarah, Iris and my friends.

Coulson: Give your connection to S.H.I.E.L.D we had a feeling Agent Barton may have revealed your identity to Loki. Your people are safe. Aside from Jordan, they're in a remote area in Upstate New York. They'll be safe there.

I nod.

Y/N: Okay, thank you. Why isn't Jordan there though?

Coulson: He didn't want to leave as he wanted to be in New York in case you needed him. But he's being watched.

Y/N: Thanks.

Just then everyone on the deck goes silent.

I look up and see Wolverine walk onto the deck.

Y/N: Holy crap. It's Wolverine.

Nick Fury: Logan, thanks coming.

He and Fury shake hands.

Logan: It's fine. I figure it must be serious if you need my help.

I immediately go over to him as Fury walks away.

Y/N: Uh, hi. I'm Y/N Parker, Spider-Man. It's an honor to meet you, sir.

He scoffs.

Logan: Just call me Logan, kid.

Y/N: Right, sure. I'm sorry. I'm just a big fan. I grew up here stories about you. You fought with my grandfather back in Vietnam. Richard Parker.

Logan: I did. Look, kid, I'm not someone you should look up to. I'm good at what I do, but what I did isn't always good.

Y/N: Oh, okay...

I turn away.

Y/N: I better go help Banner in the lab. He'll need it.

I walk away.

Wolverine isn't who I thought he'd be.

I guess that's why they say not to meet your heroes.

(One hour later)

Banner and I have been searching for the Cube for an hour now, and we keep hitting dead ends.

I've been sat in the same position for so long I have to roll my neck back as I'm getting uncomfortable.

Y/N: Damn. I thought we would've found it by now.

Bruce: Well, kid things like this take time. We've just gotta be patient.

Y/N: Right.

Banner and I hear the door open and see Natasha rush in.

Y/N: Hey, Nat, what's going on?

Natasha: Loki's been spotted in Germany. We gotta get him now before he's gone. Let's go, Y/N.

I nod.

Y/N: Sorry, Doc. Gotta go. Good luck.

Bruce: You too.

I get up and leave the lab to go and suit up.
