(Morag, 2014)

Kate's P.O.V

We come out of the quantum realm and land on the planet Morag in the year 2014.

Ben, Bucky, Natasha, Clint and I wait for Nebula and Rhodey to bring the drop ship down.

While we're waiting I look down and see Natasha kick on small creature that must live on this planet.

Natasha: Stupid little rat.

Ben: Man, that thing was ugly.

Bucky: Yep.

Clint: Come on, guys. Can we hurry it up?

Natasha: Yeah, come on guys chop, chop we're on a clock here.

Rhodey turns around.

Rhodey: (Sarcastically) Yeah, all of that really helpful.

We chuckle at this.

Once the drop ship is lowered we all say goodbye to Nat and Clint.

Natasha then comes over and hugs me.

Natasha: Good luck and stay safe.

Kate: You too.

She then pulls away.

Natasha: If something goes wrong... just promise you'll take care of my brother.

Kate: I will. I promise.

Natasha then goes over to Rhodey and hugs him.

I hug Clint and say goodbye to him.

Kate: Bye, CB-1.

He chuckles.

Clint: Bye, Katie.

After say goodbye, Natasha and Clint get back on the ship.

Rhodey: You two watch each other's six.

They both nod and get on the ship and take off.

I look to Nebula.

Bucky: So, now we just wait here for this Quill guy to show up.

Nebula nods.

Nebula: Let's get to cover. We're not the only ones in 2014 looking for the stones.

Kate: Who else is?

Nebula: Me.

Rhodey: And where are you right now?

She doesn't answer and walks away.

Ben: Well, that was a terrible answer.

I look at him.

Kate: Just leave it, now come on let's get to cover.

Rhodes nods.

He, Rhodes, Bucky and I then join her behind cover.

(Ten minutes later)

After waiting for what seems like hours we finally see the man named Peter Quill, the guy Rocket told us about walk into the temple.

We see him put on headphones and start singing and dancing.

As we watch him for a couple of minutes Rhodey looks to Nebula.

Rhodey: So he's an idiot?

Nebula: Yeah.

Kate: Is it weird he kinda reminds me Y/N?

Ben: No, I get it.

We come out of cover and Rhodey knocks Quill out cold.

Nebula then pulls something out of his bag that will get us to the Power Stone.

Rhodey, Ben, Bucky, Nebula and I get to the entrance and open the door.

Rhodey, Bucky and Nebula go in to get the stone.

Meanwhile, Ben and I stand outside the entrance keeping an eye out.

Ben looks at me.

Ben: Hey, you okay?

I nod.

Kate: Yeah, I'm good.

Ben: Kate...?

I sigh.

Kate: Okay. I'm worried about Y/N. I just get the feeling something has gone wrong on his end.

Ben: Kate, don't worry about him. Y/N's strong. He's strong, one of the strongest people I've ever known. And if there's one thing I know about my bro is that he can handle anything thrown at him.

I nod.

Kate: I guess you're right. He really is strong.

He nods.

Miguel: You're damn right.

A moment later we hear Rhodey call out.

Rhodey: Kate! Ben! Time to go!

Ben and I go inside to join the three.

Ben: You got it?

Nebula: Yes.

Kate: Great. Can we leave now?

Rhodey: Yep, now let's sync up.

Bucky: Let's do it.

Ben, Bucky, Nebula and I nod.

Rhodey: Okay, 3, 2, 1.

Our time travel suits activate and we shrink back down into the quantum relem and head back to 2021.

I just hope that the other's are back there with the other stones.
