(St. Petersburg)

Y/N's P.O.V

As we're flying to St. Petersburg we run out of fuel as I said we would.

We then crash down in a random field.

The four of us get out of the jet and take a moment to recover from the small crash we just had.

Y/N: I told you we didn't have enough fuel.

Alexei: You two should have brought the Avengers' superjet.

Natasha and I look at each other and shake our heads.

We all start to walk away from thr crash with Alexei constantly talking.

Yelena then leans towards me.

Yelena: (Whispers) I swear if I hear one more word from him I'm going to kick him in the face.

Y/N: (Whispers) The line forms behind me.

Natasha: (Whispers) He's the worst.

Alexei: Natasha. Natasha, Natasha. Come here, I want to ask you something. Come, it's important.

As Yelena and I walk ahead of mum and Alexei I hear Natasha speak up in her slighty pissed off voice.

Natasha: You haven't seen either one of us in years, you haven't even asked about any of us and you wanna ask me about you?

Yelena and I turn to look at the two and see Alexei walk off slightly.

Alexei: What is with this tension? Did I do something wrong?

Yelena: Is that really a question?

Y/N: I was a baby and even I know that's a stupid question.

Alexei: I only ever loved you kids. I did my best to make sure that you'd succeed, to achieve your fullest potential, and everything worked out.

Natasha: Everything worked out?

Alexei: For you three, yes it did. We accomplished our mission in Ohio. Yelena you went on to become the greatest child assassin the world has ever known. No-one can match your efficiency and ruthlessness. And Natasha, not just a spy, not toppling regimes, destroying empire's from within. But an Avenger. You and your brother are both Avengers.

He then grabs both Natasha's and Yelena's hands.

Alexei: You girls have killed so many people. Your ledgers must dripping, just gushing red. I couldn't be more proud of you.

Alexei hugs the two, but they push him away almost immediately.

He then looks at me.

Alexei: And you, my boy. My son. You must have a powerful bloodlust. I'm sure your ledger is gushing red also.

Y/N: No, it's not actually. I don't kill people.

Alexei tilts his head.

Alexei: I'm sorry, what?

Y/N: I don't kill people. It's not what I do.

He looks back at Natasha.

Alexei: Natasha, this boy was born to be an assassin. What did you do to him?

Natasha: I didn't do anything. He chose to be better and I'm glad he did.

Y/N: I've almost killed before, but I didn't. Even though he would've deserved it.

He scoffs.

Alexei: I don't believe this.

Y/N: Well believe it, old man.

Natasha: Come on, let's go.

The four of us then leave and carry on walking.

As we're walking down the field Yelena speaks up.

Yelena: Are we there yet?

Alexei: Oh, you'll know when we're there.

He then starts to make pig noises.

After a few minutes of walking we make it to some sort of pig farm.

We get closer to the house we see a woman behind the fence.

I look to Natasha.

Y/N: (Whispers) Is that who I think it is?

Natasha: (Whispers) Yep.

Alexei: Honey, we're home.

She doesn't reply and walks out and heads towards the house.

I look to Nat again.

Y/N: So much for a loving reunion huh?

Natasha: Honestly, I didn't expect much.

Alexei: Come on you three, let's get inside.

We follow Alexei and go towards the house.

All of us walk into the house and start looking around.

Melina: Welcome to my humble abode. Make yourself at home. Let's have a drink.

Natasha and I walk into the kitchen, and we see Melina put her rifle away in a secret room.

Natasha: Hey, no funny business.

Melina: I'm just putting my weapon away.

Natasha goes over to the sink.

Natasha: Any booby traps we gotta worry about? Anything we need to know about?

Melina: I didn't raise my children to fall into traps.

Natasha: You didn't raise us at all, and I didn't raise my brother to fall into traps.

Y/N: That's true, actually.

Melina: Maybe so, but if you got soft it wasn't on my watch.

Y/N: Wow, you can just feel the awkwardness.

Melina looks at me.

Y/N: Sorry, I tend to make bad jokes in tense situations.

Melina: Well, that one was definitely bad.

Y/N: Good to see you too, "mum."

Melina walks off into the dining room.

Natasha and I follow her in to the dining room.

Once we sit down we wait for Alexei to come back, but as we're waiting we hear him groaning and struggling in the bathroom.

Melina takes the cap of a bottle of alcohol.

Melina: Let's drink.

She starts filling up our glasses.

Y/N: Definitely.

I take a shot and down it.

Melina: Impressive.

Y/N: One of the perks of my powers is alcohol doesn't effect me.

Melina: Your metabolism burns to fast, I assume.

Y/N: That's right.

Just then we Alexei come in wearing his Red Guardian suit.

Alexei: It still fits.

Melina wolf whistles.

Yelena: Oh my god.

Y/N: Are you sure about that?

Alexei starts laughing and comes over to the table.

Melina: I didn't wash it once. Come and drink.

Alexei sits down and puts him helmet on the floor.

Alexei: Family, back together again.

Melina: Seeing as our family construct was just a calculated ruse that only lasted for three years, I don't think we can use that term anymore, can we?

Natasha: Agreed.

She leans forward.

Natasha: So, here's what's gonna happen...

Alexei: Okay. A reunion then, huh? And uh, I want to say something right off the bat.

He looks at Melina.

Alexi: You haven't aged a day, huh? You're just as beautiful and as supple as the day they staged our marriage.

Yelena: Oh, god.

I take another shot after hearing that.

Melina: You got fat, but still good.

Alexei: I just got out of prison. I uh, I have alot of energy.

Y/N: Oh, Jesus.

Natasha: Please don't do that. So, here's what's gonna happen...

Melina: Natasha, don't slouch.

Natasha: What? I'm not slouching.

Melina: Yes, yes you are.

Natasha: I don't slouch.

Melina: You're going to get a back hunch.

Alexei: Come on, listen to your mother. Up, up.

I chuckle.

Natasha: Alright, enough. All of you.

Y/N: What?

Yelena points to both of us.

Yelena: We didn't say anything. That's not fair.

Natasha: Here's what's gonna happen...

Yelena: I don't want any food.

Melina: Eat a little something Yelena, for God's sake.

Y/N: What Natasha is trying to say is that you're gonna tell us the location of the Red Room.

Natasha: Exactly.

Melina: You know, it's like when you told the girls they could stay up late to catch Santa Claus.

Alexei: What? That was fun. I want them to follow their dreams. Reach for the stars, girls!

Natasha: Finding Dreykov isn't a fantasy. It's unfinished business.

Melina: You can't defeat a man who commands the will of other's.

Melina starts demonstrates this by bringing in one of her pigs and commanding it to stop breathing.

Melina: We infiltrated the North Institute in Ohio. It was a front for S.H.I.E.L.D scientists. Actually, it was HYDRA scientists at that time. It was incojunction with the Winter Soldier program, they had dissected and deconstructed thr human brain to crate the first and only cellular blueprint of basal ganglia. Was the hub for cognition.

As Melina carries on explaining I notice the pig still isn't breathing.

Y/N: What are you doing?

Melina: I'm demonstrating that the science is now so exact, the subject can be instructed to stop breathing and has no choice but to obey.

Y/N: Okay, you've proved your point now stop.

Melina let's the pig breath again and it gets up then leaves the house.

After that he tells us how Dreykov has Black Widows all around the world.

Yelena: And do you know who they test it on?

Melina: Mmm... No, that's not my department.

Alexei: Ah, come on. Don't lie to them.

Melina: I'm not lying.

Alexei: Melina, you're Dreykov's architect, yes?

Melina: What were you? If I was his architect, you were his partner. You were his business partner.

Alexei: No, no! I was patsy!

Alexei and Melina then start to argue, but Nat stops it and looks at the two of them.

Natasha: Shut up! You are an idiot. And you're a coward. You're a coward. Our family was never real, so there's nothing to hold on to. The only family I have in this room is Y/N. We're moving on.

Alexei: Never family, huh? In my heart, I am simple man. And I think that for a couple of undercover Russian agents I think we did pretty great as parents, huh?

Melina: Yes, we had our orders and we played our roles to perfection.

Natasha: Who cares? That wasn't real.

Yelena: What?

Natasha: That wasn't real. Who cares?

Yelena: Don't say that. Please don't say that. It was real.

Yelena starts to tear up.

Yelena: It was real to me. You were my mother. You were my real mother. The closest thing I ever had to one. The best part of my life was fake, and none of you told me. And those agents you chemically subjugated around the world? I was one of them. Mmm.

She looks at mum.

Yelena: And you, you got out with our brother. But after that Dreykov made sure no-one could escape. Are you gonna say anything?

Natasha stays silent.

Yelena: No.

Melina goes to hold Yelena's hand.

Yelena: Don't touch me.

Yelena grabs the bottle of vodka and leaves the table.

Y/N: Yelena...

She ignores me and goes into a bedroom.

Alexei: I'll talk to her.

He gets up and goes to talk to Yelena.
