(Two days later)

Y/N's P.O.V 

It's been two days since I took down Sandman and things have gone back to being quiet.

Right now I'm on the NYU campus with Kate.

I'm actually gonna ask her out today.

We've just been talking and I've been building up to it in my head.

Y/N: So, I actually wanted to ask you something.

Kate: What is it?

Y/N: Well, I've been thinking about this alot and I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go out on a date sometime?

She smiles.

Kate: Yeah, I'd love to. It's about time you asked.

I chuckle.

Y/N: I'm sorry I took so long.

She leans in closer.

Kate: I know how you can make it up to me.

Y/N: Me too.

I lean in and we kiss.

She moves closer to me as the kiss gets more heated.

Just then my phone starts buzzing.

I pull away.

Y/N: Sorry. I better take this.

Kate: It's okay.

I walk away and answer it.

It's Ben calling me.

Y/N: Hey, Ben. What's up?

Ben: Y/N, I'm gonna be bring a guest by to the Spider Cave. It's important.

Y/N: Who is it?

Ben: Lisa Snart. She needs Spider-Man's help. Captain Cold's been kidnapped.

I sigh.

Y/N: Okay, take her to the cave. I'll suit up and meet you there.

I hang up and go over back over to Kate.

Kate: What's going on?

Y/N: We've got a problem.

(Twenty minutes later)

I'm now in my suit at the Spider Cave with Kate, Ben and Harry.

We also have Lisa Snart here.

Like Ben said she believes her brother has been taken.

Y/N: Alright, so you really want us to just believe that Captain Cold was kidnapped?

Lisa: I saw it happen. Last night Lenny, me and Mick were knocking over the cashier's cage at NYC Racetrack.

Kate: Does it physically pain your family not to rob people?

Lisa: I never finished the job. After Mick torched through the side entrance, I looked back for Lenny and saw him getting thrown into the back of a van.

Ben: Why didn't you and Mick follow?

Lisa: I would have. Someone hit me from behind and knocked me out. When I came to, Lenny was gone and Mick had already made off with the cash.

Kate: How do we know this isn't some kind of a trap?

Lisa: He if wanted Spider-Man dead, he'd be dead by now.

Y/N: Okay, but why should I help him?

Lisa: Because you owe him one for keeping your identity a secret.

I sigh.

Kate: I do not like her.

Ben: Yeah, but she makes a point.

We all look at Ben.

Harry: Seriously?

Ben: All I'm saying is we should at least hear her out, right?

Harry: Even if Spidey wanted to help, how is he supposed to find him?

Y/N: Well, I could use our satellite to search for his cold gun's ultraviolet cold signature.

I go over to one of the computers and search for the cold gun's signature.

A moment later I get something.

Y/N: Okay, I got a hit.

I look at Lisa.

Y/N: Time to find out if you're lying or not.

I then web zip out of the base using a vent on the ceiling.

I was put there awhile back, so I could get out of the base quickly as Spider-Man.

(Fifteen minutes later)

I make it to Snart's location and it's an abandoned office building.

I walk forward and see Snart walk into the room.

Y/N: Snart.

Leonard: Y/N.

Y/N: Are you okay?

He tilts his head.

Leonard: Peachy.

He walks over to a desk and I follow him.

Y/N: Okay... well, I'm supposed to be here to save you.

Leonard: That's not necessary. You can swing along now.

Y/N: Snart, if these guys are making you do something...

Leonard: No-one makes me do anything.

Y/N: Then why does your sister think you've been kidnapped.

A door opens, then out of nowhere Snart hits me with his cold gun.

???: What's taking so long?

Leonard: I got held up.

???: Always the excuse with you...

The older man sees me frozen.

???: Well, look at that. I didn't think you had it in you, son.

Leonard: Thanks, dad.

???: Come on. We're behind schedule.

Leonard: Sorry, Spidey. Gotta run.

Snart leaves with his father.

I get on comms to Harry.

Y/N: Harry! Snart hit me with his cold gun! I need you to activate the heater in my suit.

Harry: Okay, I'm on it. I'll bring the heat.

Just then my suit starts to heat up causing the ice to melt and warm me up.

Kate: Y/N, are you okay? Say something!

Y/N: I'm fine, Katie. But Snart's gone and Lisa's got some explaining to do.

(Three hours later)

After talking with Lisa I decide to go and see Snart as Y/N.

I need to get some answers.

I go to the local bar and see Snart eating at a table.

He sees me come over to him.

Leonard: Back from the dead so soon, Y/N. Pass me the salt.

I slide the salt over to him.

Y/N: Don't spill. It's bad luck.

He puts it on it's side.

Y/N: Why are you working with Lewis? Lisa told us you hate him.

Leonard: Things are... complicated with family, as you know with your own family.

Y/N: Tell me what's going on. Let me help you.

Leonard: Don't waste your time tryin' to save people who don't wanna be saved.

Y/N: Well, maybe it's not just about you, right? I'm betting, whatever you two are up to innocent people are gonna get hurt.

Leonard: Don't worry, I remember our deal. You leave me alone, I make sure no-one dies.

Y/N: Alright. You're a criminal, Snart. But you live by a code. It sounds to me like Lewis doesn't. Like he won't care if people die. That's why I can't leave this alone.

Leonard: Then everyone will know who Spider-Man is under that pretty little mask.

Y/N: I don't care. I will take you down anyway. Both of you.

He nods.

Leonard: We'll see about that, kid.

He stands up.

Leonard: Thanks for dinner.

I get left with the check and pay for it.

This is gonna be harder than I thought, but I need to stop them.
