Y/N's P.O.V

Peter and I walk into the room and see the other's gathered around.

Y/N: Margo, what's going on?

Margo: You want the good news, or the bad news first?

Y/N: Uh, good news.

Margo: Well, good news is we found Spot. He's here on Earth-1016.

Y/N: Great. What's the bad news.

Peni: Bad news is... well, take a look for yourself.

I see the scan of Spot that they took using the Stark Industries satellite.

Y/N: His dimensional energy output is off the charts. He's trying to destroy the whole Spider-Verse at once.

Peter: And take out every Spider in the process.

Y/N E-1624: (Sarcastically) Oh, great.

Y/N: He's gonna start with this Earth though. We need the whole Spider Society.

Gwen: Y/N, are you sure? They're still trying to hunt you down.

Y/N: I know, but the whole Spider-Verse needs help. Can we contact them?

Margo: No, we'd need someone with seniority to get them all together.

???: I can do that.

We look over to see Jess there.

Jess: I can help.

Y/N: And can we trust you?

Jess: Yes. I wanna help. Please.

I look at her and see she's pregnant and I feel sorry for what I did.

I need to trust her.

Y/N: Okay.

I go over and uncuff her.

Y/N: Do it.

I look at dad.

Y/N: I know what I need to say to them.

He smiles.

James: I know you do.

I go over to him.

Y/N: Dad, you need to get an evacuation underway. We need to get people away from the city.

James: Okay, I'm on it.

He leaves.

I look over and see mum holding Mayday.

Y/N: And mum, keep an eye on Mayday and Ollie.

Vanessa: Gladly. She's so cute.

Oliver: Hey!

Vanessa: So are you, baby.

Peter: Thank you, Natasha.

A few minutes later, I see all the monitors light up and see many Spider-People.

Peni: Y/N, they're here. The comms are two-way. They can hear you.

Y/N: Thanks, Peni.

I go to the mic.

Y/N: Hello. Attention to the Spider Society. This is Y/N L/N, the Spider-Man of Earth-1016. I'm sure you remember chasing me. I'm talking to you now as there's a threat to the Spider-Verse, a threat to all of us. Spot is coming for us all. He wants to destroy everything, but first there's something you should know.

I sigh.

Y/N: What you believe about Canon Events are wrong. The Colliders going off in dimensions are causing tears in those dimensions, not changing the Canon. That's what we've learned.

As I say this Margo sends through the information we gathered to the feeds at the Spider Society.

Y/N: Now, there's something you should know about me, I'm not like the rest of you. I was bitten by a spider when I wasn't to be. And when I found out I felt like I was a fake or fraud, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm Spider-Man. As Spider-People it's our job to save lives. We may not be able to save everyone, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't try. Cause if we don't, then how are we any better than the bad guy's we're trying to stop?

I look at the other's for a moment.

Y/N: Some time ago I said, "Anyone can wear the mask." And I still believe that, but given recent events, I've learnt some things. Anyone can wear the mask, but it's how you wear the mask that truly matter. Now, I'm not gonna ask anyone to follow me, but if you want to save lives then just tell me you're with me.

I step back and there's a moment of silence.

Spider-Man: I'm with you, Y/N.

Spider-Woman: We're with you, Spider-Man.

One by one they call out saying they're with me.

Gwen: That was a good speech.

I smirk.

Y/N: Thanks.

I go back to the mic.

Y/N: Break off into teams and go into the Spider-Verse. Save lives!

I look to the other's.

Y/N: You got ten minutes. Do what you need to do.

I go back to talk to Miguel.

I walk in and see him sitting there.

Miguel: So, what happens now, kid?

Y/N: I'm give you the choice you didn't give me.

I go over and uncuff him. I then give him his watch back.

Y/N: Go home, Miguel. Don't get in our way.

He stands up and I go to leave.

Miguel: I heard you talking with your dad. You could've told him he was gonna die. Why didn't you?

I turn back to him.

Y/N: Because it wouldn't have made a difference. He'd still go out there anyway, because that's who he is. He helps people, protects them. So do I. So does every Spider, at least that's what we're supposed to do, but you don't get that.

I sigh.

Y/N: You can't ingore when people are in danger. What's important is not standing by and allowing someone to suffer or die because you do nothing. If you don't get that, then you don't get the first thing about being Spider-Man. And it's kinda messed up that it's the "anomaly" that has to point that out to you.

I walk out of the room.

(Five minutes later)

I'm now out of the rooftop getting ready. 

This is it.

Just then I see Gwen come out.

Gwen: Everyone's almost ready.

Y/N: Okay, good.

Gwen: You nervous?

Y/N: Yeah. Are you?

Gwen: Yep.

We look at each other.

Y/N & Gwen: Look, I...

We both sigh.

Y/N: You go first.

Gwen: Okay. Look, I don't want to go into this without saying this to you. Y/N, I am so so sorry I lied to you, I really am. I know that doesn't make things better, but you need to know that.

Y/N: It really hurt, Gwen. It felt like... like you didn't care about me. That you trusted Miguel more than me.

Gwen: I know and I'm sorry, but I've never trusted anyone more than I trust you. After my Peter died I lost myself, but I found myself again after I met you. You helped me remember who I am. I love you, Y/N. I really do love you. I don't care if you thinks it's too late, I'm telling you anyway.

As she continues to talk she looks away.

I look down and see a flower cart.

I sneak away and grab a rose for her.

She turns back and sees me hanging upside-down infront of her.

She smiles.

Gwen: What's this?

Y/N: This is me saying sorry. I'm sorry for being an asshole.

She takes the rose.

Gwen: It's okay, Y/N. You had every right to be upset with me.

Y/N: I love you too, Gwen.

Gwen: I love you.

She puts her hands on my face and we kiss deeply.

(A/N: Just imagine it's Y/N and the Gwen of this story in their suits. Ingore the rain though.)

A moment later we pull away.

Gwen: Wow.

Y/N: Yeah. You should've just done that instead of apologising.

She giggles.

Gwen: I guess so.

I drop down.

Y/N: You ready for this?

Gwen: Definitely.

She and I go to join the others.

It's time to stop the Spot and hopefully save my dad.
