Y/N's P.O.V

I'm still in my bedroom and webbed up to the chair.

I've tried getting out, but my super strength won't work.

None of my spider powers will work right now. 

Just then I see someone's shadow outside the door.

James: Y/N. Y/N, it's your dad. Please open the door. I can see you moving around in there.

I roll over to the door.

He sighs.

James: Yeah, I get it. You're not in the mood to talk. Look, can you just sit there and listen?

He sighs.

James: Something happened to your...

I know he's talking about uncle Shane.

He's trying hold back the tears.

James: Look sometimes people drift apart, Y/N. And I don't want that to happen to us, son. I really don't. I know I don't always do what you need me to do or say what you need me to say. Lord knows I'm not exactly father of the year or anything, but I love you so much, buddy. And I know you've been struggling since Peter died.

He sighs.

James: Just know that I love you with everything I got. You are the best part of me, Y/N. You have been since the day you were born. I... I just see this spark in you. It's amazing and it's yours. Whatever you choice to do with it, you'll be great. Spectacular, even.

I lean my head against the door. 

James: Look, just come and talk me when you're ready, okay? I love you, Y/N. You don't have to say it back though.

After that I see him walk away.

I roll back in the chair.

Dad's right.

This spark is mine, this power is mine and I'll do what I need to do.

I am Spider-Man. I'm the Spectacular Spider-Man.

I feel the spark and activate my Venom Blast to break through the webbing.

It also blasts the chair apart.

After that I stand up and see the sparks coming off my hands.

Y/N: It worked. I am meant to Spider-Man.

Now I'm gonna need a new suit.

I grab the thumb drive that Peter left for me.

I then go to the window and jump out of it.

(Twenty minutes later)

(A/N: Just play this song throughout the next bit.)

I make it back to Avengers Tower. He'll have what I need.

I take the elevator down and see Tony is sitting in his lab waiting.

Tony: Took you long enough, kid. 

Y/N: I need a new suit, Tony. You still got that fabrication unit.

Tony: Oh, yeah.

He and I go over to the fabrication unit.

Tony: Cap and I knew you'd get back in the game eventually. So, you got a design in mind?

I pull out the drive.

Y/N: Yeah. Pete left some designs for me.

I turn it on and start working on my own suit.

Tony: Alright then. I'll leave you to it. I actually have something for you.

A few minutes later Tony comes back over.

Tony: Here. You'll need this. I made these web shooters for you, just in case.

I look at the case and open it to see new web shooters inside.

Y/N: Thank you, Tony.

I take the shooters and put them.

Tony: They fit perfectly.

I nod.

Now all I have to do is finish my suit.

(One hour later)

I'm now back in the city wearing my suit.

I've got a jacket and hoodie to cover it up and I'm wearing my Air One Jordans.

I'm currently on the top of a tower over the city.

I take off the extra clothes and pull out my mask.

My new suit is perfect.

It's based somewhat on Peter's design, but he made some changes.

He knew I'd like it and I do.

I sit on the ledge and hear what my parents and uncle have said to me.

James: I just see this spark in you. It's amazing and it's yours. Whatever you choice to do with it, you'll be great. Spectacular, even.

Vanessa: You're strong, baby. Our family doesn't run from things. Ever. One day you'll realise how strong you truly are.

Shane: You... you're the best of all of us, Y/N. You're on your way. Just keep going. Just keep going for me.

I pull down my mask and remember what I asked Peter.

Y/N: When do I know I'm truly meant to be Spider-Man?

Peter: You won't. That's all it is, Y/N. A leap of faith.

I stick to the side of the tower and look down.

After that I push off and do a backflip to go into a dive.

(A/N: Just imagine it's Y/N in the suit from above, same goes for other gifs used in this chapter.)

As I fall I spin and fire out two web lines to catch myself.

The two lines attach to the tower and I launch myself back into the air.

After that I starts swinging through the city towards Fisk Tower.

I swing through the air just like Peter taught me.

I then swing closer to the ground and run across the street inbetween the cars.

I jump off a truck and start jumping from car to car.

After that I jump into the air and spin around a flagpole

I then spring myself off the flagpole.

Y/N: Wooohooooo!!!!

I web zip up and jump from rooftop to rooftop.

I run across the side of a building and jump a building.

After that I land on a statue on the side of a building and stop to take a breather.

I pull up my mask.

Y/N: Whoa. That was awesome.

I smile.

Y/N: I'm back.

I look to see Fisk Tower up ahead.

Y/N: There it is. You're going down, Fisk.

I pull down my mask and dive off the edge.

I start swinging to Fisk Tower.

Time to help my friends and send 'em back home.
