A new type of beginning

"Alright people, let's do it one last time."

A comic panel of a newer Spider-Man appeared, carrying a man as he cried in terror and Spider-Man swinging him away.

"My name is Peter Parker. I was bitten by a radioactive spider. But you know all this, so let's get to the good stuff."

A woman was walking down the street when a man came running past her and grabbed her purse.

"Hey! Stop!" The woman cried as the man kept running with her purse.

Just as he thought he got away, someone came swooping down and picked him up from around the waist.

The thief cried in terror as he was brought over and dropped onto a light post as he was webbed to it. Once he webbed the criminal at the traffic light, he swung over and handed the stolen purse to its rightful owner.

Peter was currently wearing a messy put-together suit, it being the first suit he created. It was all dark red, with a webbing pattern across the whole suit, a bulging spider on his chest, and black outlines under his arms, waits, and legs. Under his armpits, there also was a pair of web wings he had put together.

"Here you go, ma'am," Peter said as he walked over and handed the purse back to her.

"Thank you." The woman said in shock as she looked him over. "Who are you?"

"Me?" Peter asked and gestured to himself. "I'm just your friendly neighborhood...superhero."

Peter still hadn't figured out a name for himself at this time yet and sighed. "Man, I really need to come up with a name." Then he ran down the street before shooting a web and swinging off into the sky.

"Then I saved the city."

Visuals of Peter fighting and defeating his greatest foes came across the screen.

One was when he fought Otto Octavius. Dr. Octopus.

Another where he's fighting against Max Dillon. Electro.

"And again."

Peter fights and defeats Venom, Kraven, Thanos, and Morbius, all of his greatest foes.

"And again."

Fighting Trapster, Wizard, Thundra, Chameleon, Green Goblin, Vulture, Rhino, Scorpion, Shocker. Sometimes with the help of other heroes, and sometimes on his own.

"After a few years at the Bugle, working alongside S.H.I.E.L.D., I decided to expand my horizons. I left New York and went to Metropolis."

Peter was running through the halls of the Daily Planet to keep up with his new boss, Perry White.

"Everyone in here, we're the most dependable friends the people of Metropolis have," Perry stated as he showed Peter around. "You remember that."

Peter had just been hired by Perry to be the new photographer. It seemed White was surprised by the fact he survived J. Jonah Jameson for years without being fired. The photos of Spider-Man over the years did help, and he's already been spotted in Metropolis.

"Yes, sir," Peter confirmed. "Which is a warm welcome compared to the Bugle's lies."

"Jameson always said he only printed facts. And anything that it takes to connect the facts. No matter how ridiculous." White agreed with Peter as they went through the facility. "Stick with Lane, Parker. You'll fit right in."

"Lane?" Peter asked, unsure who that is.

"Are you wearing a tie?" The woman in question asked as he passed her.

Perry White left Peter as he turned around and looked at Lois Lane. "This?" He gestured to his tie. "My uncle always told me to dress for the occasion."

Lois hummed at that knowledge and walked forward, Peter following after her. "Well, remember, next time, it's not a necessity. And a quick warning, don't listen to anything that Lombard tells you, he plays jokes like that around the office. Though, he can get you box seats to the Meteors. You like baseball?"

"Uh, nothing against it, but not a big sports guy," Peter admitted as he followed after her, trying to keep up. "I'm more of a computer guy."

"So, less baseball club and more chess club?" Lois asked him.

"Exactly, Ms. Lane," Peter confirmed.

"It's Lois," Lois tells him. "What did you say your name was?"

"Peter. Peter Parker." Peter introduced himself as he stopped just as Lois stopped.

"Nice name." Lois complimented.

"Well, you have...a nice name, too." Peter complimented back as he looked around. Lois then walked down the hall as Peter's back was turned. "And is it just me or.." that's when he noticed she was gone and raced after her. "Oh, sorry!"

"We fell in love..."

Peter was hanging off of a web in an alley while Lois moved his mask down enough to hang over his mouth and kissed him.

"I told her who I really was..."

Peter was on top of the Daily Planet with Lois, down on one knee and revealing to have a ring. Lois gratefully accepted as she embraced her hero.

"Then before we knew it, we were married."

Peter and Lois were standing at the altar, saying their vows and embracing one another. They promised to stay together in sickness and in health, to cherish one another. And they didn't even need to hear the rest, as they already agreed to do so.

They were married in New York, surrounded by all of Peter's friends and family that he had made over the years. Even some of his superhero friends showed up.

As they made their way out, Lois tossed the bouquet as it landed in the hands of Flash Thompson, one of Peter's friends.

"It was the happiest moment of my life...or so I thought."

Peter and Lois were sitting in May's house as she took a small present and opened it to see what it was. What she saw was a small pregnancy test with a positive review.

"Then the girls came..."

Peter was holding his little girl while Lois carried the second one.

"Mayday and April Parker."

The two looked so much alike that it took their parents to need to give the two completely different wardrobes to remember which was which.

"The girls were just...the greatest thing in my life."

Peter was currently running around the house while chasing Mayday and April around as they tried to escape the 'monster' that was chasing them.

"They are the light of my life. And I'm thankful for them every day."

Lois watched the interaction and smiled at the sight before her.

Peter held up his Spider-Man suit above his and Lois's bed in their room. A sad smile came over his face as he took a suitcase out.

"And when they were born...I made a choice."

Peter then folds the Spider-Man suit up and placed it inside the suitcase before closing it.

"Spider-Man meant I wouldn't be able to be there for them. So, I chose to put them over the suit."

"And suddenly here I am, 15 years later, raising two teenage girls in Metropolis, married to the most famous journalist in the world, trying to be there with my job."

Lois walked over and placed two plates down next to Mayday and April as Peter finally made it home just in time for dinner.

"I thought I had everything handled. I had everything under control...But I was wrong..."

Alarms started blaring through a facility in New York as agents ran to try and handle the threat. But when the men aimed the threat, a small orb came rolling past them.

The orb was small and golden with a green outline around it with a giant circle on the top. The button was flashing green and before any of them could react, the device went off and sent them flying.

As the smoke cleared, a figure appeared in the darkness and the device he was riding gave an outline of the rider. The person was riding a glider that was all too familiar to the team of agents.

Before anyone could shoot at him, the glider took to the skies, only the humming from the glider filling the air. They watched as the figure and the glider stared down at them through the smoke before flying away.

"Sir...it's the Goblin. He's back." An agent reported.
