Hide And Seek | Platonic!Peter Parker (TH)

I made the reader tony and pepper's daughter if that's alright. I just felt like it worked better.
reader is also a child in this so everything is platonic. peter is basically like your older brother.
....
"Pep, it's just one night. He can totally handle it."
"Tony, we are not having this conversation again. I do not want to force Peter to watch (Y/N) for three hours."
"He'll be fine with it. He knows how to babysit and what to do if anything goes wrong. Right, kid?"
"Huh?"
Peter looked back from his position on the couch at Tony and Pepper, who were dressed all fancy on their way to some special event. Behind them was you, their shy 10 year-old daughter.
"You can totally watch (Y/N) while Pepper and I are out, right?" Tony asked.
"Uh, sure." Peter didn't know you too well since you don't come around that often, but you seem to take a liking to him.
"Tony, no," Pepper said before turning to Peter, "Peter, you don't have to do this. I'll call for a babysitter and—"
"No, no. I can do it," Peter said. He stood up from the couch he was lounging on. "I'm-I'm sure (Y/N) would prefer me than a complete stranger, right?" He pulled his face into one of those awkward smiles.
Tony looked at Pepper a certain way, as if to convince her to let Peter babysit you. Pepper only glared back.
But eventually she gave in.
"Fine," Pepper said, sighing. She put her hand on your back and gently asked, "Are you going to be alright with Peter watching you for a little while?"
You glanced at Peter for a moment, then nodded.
"Alright then. That settles it," Tony said, "We will be back in a few hours. Parker, don't have a party while we're gone. I don't want any drunk teenagers in my house."
"Tony," Pepper warned.
"Don't worry, Mr. Stark. I'll have everything under control," Peter said, his smile a straight line.
Your parents hugged you goodbye, promising to tuck you in bed, then left.
And now it was just you and Peter.
Peter plopped himself back onto the couch. "So, uh....what do you want to do?"
You just shrugged.
"Okay, uh....how about we play a game?"
At that, your eyes lit up. Playing games was your favorite thing to do, though you only ever played them with your father. Sometimes Natasha.
"What kind of game?" you asked, the first words you've said all evening.
Peter had to think for a moment. "How about hide and seek? I used to play that all the time with my aunt and uncle."
"Okay."
"Awesome. Now I'll count to ten and you go hide, okay?"
You nodded.
Peter closed his eyes and started counting.
You looked around the room for a hiding place.
....
"Eight, nine, ten! Ready or not, here I come!" Peter shouted.
He scanned the room, looking for a place he thought you would hide in. The room was dead silent. Not a peep was heard. You were playing for real.
He checked behind the couch, nothing.
You weren't hiding behind the curtains either.
Peter walked to the kitchen, checking the cabinets and under the island. You weren't there either.
"Hmm," he hummed, looked around the room once more before moving on to the next.
But every room he checked, you were nowhere to be found.
Not under the beds or in the closet. Not even behind the cabinet at the end of the hall that nobody bothered to look at.
After a good ten minutes Peter started getting worried. What if you wandered too far in the building and ended up on a completely different floor? What if something happened? How will Peter explain this to Tony and Pepper?
Wherever you were, you must have been a really good hider.
Peter stood back in the living room where he started, feeling defeated.
He cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted, "(Y/N), I give up! You can come out now!"
His head darted back and forth, waiting to see if you would come out. A few seconds passed and you still didn't come out of your hiding place. Peter started to wonder if he shouted loud enough. Or if something bad happened.
Oh God, what if something bad happened to you?
"Oh my gosh, I lost her. I lost (Y/N) and now Mr. Stark is going to kill me." Peter nervously ran his hand through his hair and sat down on the couch.
Suddenly, the mug sitting on the coffee table changed its shape, turning into you!
Peter screamed.
You were standing right in front of him. After just transforming from a mug.
"You scream like a girl," you said, grinning.
"No I don't!" Peter said defensively, frowning a little. "How....how did you do that?"
You shrugged. "I just can."
He couldn't believe it.
You had superpowers.
"Do your parents know?" he asked.
You shook your head.
Peter's mind was a mess right now. Thousands of questions floated around in his brain. How could you have superpowers? Tony never did experiments on you. He would never do that to you.
Maybe you touched something you weren't supposed to? Or maybe you were just born with it. But how could Tony and Pepper not have known?
"So do I win?" you asked.
"Hmm?" Peter snapped out of his thoughts. He then frowned once he realized what you just said. "What? No, you cheated! You used superpowers I didn't even know about to hide."
"No, that's not cheating! I hid fair and square!" You stuck out your tongue at him to annoy him even more.
Peter pretended to be hurt by your gesture.
"Oh yeah? Well....I'm telling Mr. Stark you have superpowers then," he said.
When he said that, you stopped immediately. "No, don't tell dad!"
"Why not? He deserves to know, doesn't he?"
You shook your head. "If he finds out, he and mom are going to treat me differently."
Peter tilted his head in confusion.
"Treat you differently how?"
"They're going to think I'm not normal and then I won't be treated like a regular kid anymore. They'll try to keep me inside all day and I won't get to play anymore."
Your concern was intriguing. Most kids wouldn't think about stuff like that. They would just go crazy and play with their superpowers all the time. But you knew what would happen if your parents found out.
"Well, we can't have that, now can we?" Peter asked. He raised his hand up to you, pinky out. "Alright, I pinky promise that I won't tell anyone."
You were confused, not exactly getting why he stuck his pinky out like that. Peter noticed and began to explain.
"This is just something that friends do. You hook pinkies together to show that you'll keep a promise," he said. "But you don't ever break a pinky promise. You'll have to face some serious consequences if you do."
You nodded, understanding now. Lifting up your hand to his, you hooked pinkies.
"Perfect. I won't tell and you won't tell," Peter said. "Otherwise, we'd have to have a very serious talk."
"Mhmm!" You giggled at his joke.
You both had just sworn to secrecy the fact that you had superpowers. Only you and Peter knew about it, and that's how it was going to be from now on.
(Until Tony and Pepper eventually find out.)
"So what else can you turn into?"
