Anti-Venom (Part One) | Eddie Brock [TH] / Peter Parker [TH]
Today I read that Marvel announced that they were naming the black suit that Peter wears in the Far From Home trailer (originally called Stealth Suit in the comics and everything) the Black Spider-Man suit which means that they're basically just trying to rule out the possibility of Venom being mixed in the MCU one day. Because they're cowards.
So I'm writing some more imagines with Peter AND Eddie. It's what we all deserve.
I took all of this out of Eddie Brock's history in the comics also bc I don't know what they're going to do with his movie character since Venom can't even have the spider symbol yet.
I will make a part two for sure, but it isn't completely decided yet on whether or not I will make this a series. Just let me know what you guys think about this I guess.

The past two years of your life had been the hardest years you'd ever lived through.
At first, your husband had lost his entire mind and his control over Venom. You didn't even know Eddie anymore. Venom was all you saw and all you knew - and he stopped trying to protect even you. It wasn't like he tried to kill you, but he just vanished and didn't come back unless you begged him. It got to the point where you stopped begging him and instead decided to just request that he keep Eddie safe.
Then he was gone, but he was still in the city. Venom had gone to great lengths to try and defeat Spider-Man and he had nearly succeeded. And you had no choice but to stand back and watch.
Spider-Man faked his own death and that same day, Venom vanished. You'd always thought that if he did manage to kill Spider-Man, he might come back. But he didn't; he just left without a trace and stayed gone for an entire summer. You weren't important to him anymore.
But then one day, Eddie showed up on your front door.
"Eddie?" you'd breathed, tears going to your eyes as if on command. You covered your mouth in disbelief.
"I am so sorry," he said. "I am so sorry, I am so sorry-" He fell forward and you caught him.
"E-Eddie, you're burning up," you said.
"I need a hospital," he mumbled. You almost couldn't hear him.
You did, but you weren't sure why he'd asked you to until you got there.
Venom was gone, he'd left Eddie behind. And Eddie was sick. He was really, really sick.
So after you'd been reunited with your husband, who had been missing for three months, you were in a hospital for the rest of the year at his bedside as he battled cancer. Somehow, your marriage had survived all of what you'd gone through, and you promised not to leave him alone. Not for even a moment.
It had been four months on treatment and every single weekend consisted of Eddie staying in the hospital. Then you'd go home for the week, then come right back. Over and over again. The same schedule.
You held his hand as he slept. The last night was a tough night, with Eddie being up sick all night long from treatment. You rubbed your forehead tiredly as he lay on his back, eyes shut.
"You really need to sleep."
It physically hurt to open your eyes, but you were glad you did. Eddie was staring at you. You reached over and touched his cheek. "How are you feeling?"
"About as good as a guy can in this condition," he grunted, shifting to sit up in the bed. "I know you heard me though. You really need to sleep."
You sighed. "You really need to understand that I know what I'm doing."
"___," he sighed.
"You know that I can take care of myself, Eddie," you said a little harshly. "I'm not helpless." You gave him a glare and he looked away. He could have been mad at you, you weren't sure.
"I know you're not helpless," he muttered.
"Do you need water?" you asked.
He licked his lips. "Yeah, if you don't care."
"No, I don't care," you said.
You reached over the bed and grabbed the plastic cup of tap water there. Grabbing the straw between two of your fingers, you reached over and aimed it towards his lips.
He took a sip, then scrunched his nose and broke his lips away.
You snorted. "What is it?"
"It's warm," he said. "I just want ice."
You sighed and nodded. "Ice it is," you said. You put the cup down and then stood up. Even standing up was painful. You were just so tired.
Moving around his bed, you headed towards the door. You would go outside to the small room in the hallway, grab a cup of ice, and then-
Eddie's fingers grabbed your wrist so weakly.
You looked at him, and his eyes were overflowing with tears. Worry replaced your previous annoyance and selfish thoughts. "Eddie, what's wrong?"
"I'm sorry," he choked. "I'm just so sorry."
You sat down on the bed. "Hey, hey - what for?" You put your hands on his and rubbed them. "Eddie."
"I-I was gone for a long time, and I came back... like this - and you never left me. I don't get why. And even asking you for ice makes me feel guilty. After all the crap I put you through - I was hardly even a husband to you. I haven't been for a long, long time."
You shook your head and put your hands over his mouth. "Eddie, I love you. That's all that matters, okay?"
He sniffed and shook his head. Speaking against your hand, he started to mumble. "No, no it's not-"
"All I want is for us to be able to start over," you said. "I want to get through this and restart our lives. Maybe... maybe after a while, we can move out of New York. Or take a trip for a while..." You moved your fingers down his shoulder. "I just want to be married. No guilt, no reason to remember. Just you and me now. Okay?"
"Okay," he whispered.
"But first you get better," you said. "Then all of this can be put behind us."
"Okay," he repeated.
"I'll go get ice." You leaned forward and kissed his lips gently, then stood up and left the room. You shut the door, so that when you leaned against the wall and put your hands against your face, he wouldn't see you break down into tears.
//
You came back with a cup of ice when your eyes were dry and not so red. You didn't want to tell Eddie or even show it, but you were scared. There were a lot of uncertainties in your life. All day long, you'd talk to him about all of the things you'd guys be able to do once you were free to be normal humans again. How everything would be perfect. But in all honesty... you just weren't sure.
After you stopped to say good morning to a few of Eddie's nurses in the hallway, you opened up the door and stepped back inside of the room, a smile on your face.
And when you did go inside, your smile vanished.
Because you saw Martin Li standing at the side of Eddie's bed, shaking his hand.
