So this was another fanfiction I've been wanting to write for a while. I was so focused on Midsommar Gibbous and Amazing Justice Stowaways that I didn't think to write this sooner. For those who are wondering what this story is about, allow me to explain. In this story, Damian Wayne, who is normally the Son of Batman and Talia Al Ghul, is adopted by Richard Parker and renamed Peter. I'm pretty much combining Damian Wayne with Spider-Man. Imagine Damian with Peter Parker's upbringing, his quirks, his personality, his intellect, his morals and complexes, his standard origin, everything that defines Spider-Man, in Damian Wayne. It's a strange amalgam, but it makes for an interesting character. A lot of this was inspired by the Elseworlds comic Superman: Speeding Bullets. In that comic, Kal El's rocket landed at Wayne Manor instead of Smallville, and Kal El was founded by Thomas and Martha Wayne, and they adopted him and named him Bruce, raising him as their son. Bruce witnesses Thomas and Martha get murdered by Joe Chill, and this triggers Bruce's Kryptonian powers, and he uses his heat vision to seriously harm Chill. And so Bruce becomes Batman, and he even fights a Jokerized version of Lex Luthor. It's an awesome amalgamation of Superman and Batman, and I would totally recommend you read Speeding Bullets. It's one of my favorite Elseworlds stories next to Batman and Captain America by John Byrne. I think one of the hardest parts was designing a Spider-Man suit that would seem most suitable for a character like Damian Wayne, especially since this version of Damian had Peter Parker's morals. In the end, I went with a suit inspired by Superior Spider-Man. I never really liked the run of Superior Spider-Man, that comic series was actually the reason I stopped reading Marvel Comics at that point, (thanks a lot Dan Slott) but the suit looks cool on Peter Damian Parker. But yeah, it felt appropriate to write this imaginative amalgamation on the 60th anniversary of Spider-Man.
