A/N: This is another chapter written in the third person view.

It was now a week since Peter had confronted Talia in her vain attempt to make him join The League Of Assassins. Bruce and Peter brought Dennis Carradine back to Empire State Prison, and the prison promised to help Carradine as best they could. As for Talia, she felt insulted and enraged that her own flesh and blood would turn his back on her and refuse to embrace her legacy. She vowed revenge on Peter and his loved ones, no matter what. And she didn't care who she had to kill to achieve her revenge. If she had to sell her soul to the devil to achieve revenge, so the better.

Meanwhile at OsCorp, Norman Osborn was in his office, debating with himself whether he wanted to go back home or wreak havoc as the Green Goblin. For 3 years, Norman Osborn had been the Green Goblin, occasionally terrorizing New York. He'd encountered Spider-Man many times as the Goblin, but he always managed to get away. Osborn was unaware of who Spider-Man was, but he considered Spider-Man to be a worthy foe. "Perhaps I could create a new glider," he thought to himself, going to the secret passageway where he hid all of his gadgets and weapons as the Green Goblin. Once he was in his hideout, Norman saw Talia Al Ghul there. "Hello Norman Osborn," she said, a smirk on her face. Norman frowned and asked,"who are you and how did you get into my secret hideout?"

"My name is Talia Al Ghul," she replied, "I am the leader of the League Of Assassins. You may have heard of us and of my father Ra's Al Ghul." Once Talia explained who she was, Norman gave a sinister smile and said, "ah yes, now I remember who you are." Talia softly laughed, "and I also know you are The Green Goblin." Norman turned his back and asked, "why are you here, Ms. Al Ghul, was it?" Talia wandered over to Norman and said, "you and I have a common enemy. That common enemy is Spider-Man." Now Talia had Norman's attention. "How are you Spider-Man's enemy? Did he sabotage your plans?" Norman asked with interest. "In a way, by daring to defy me, he did," said Talia, "he is my son." Norman grinned an evil grin and said, "if you're his mother then you must know his name..." Talia scoffed and said, "his true birth name was Damian Al Ghul, but he calls himself Peter Parker..." Norman listened to what Talia said and his smile widened. He chuckled evilly, "it seems we have a common enemy indeed, Talia Al Ghul."

"I have technology capable of creating life," stated Talia, "some say these methods are considered unnatural. But with my technology and your serum that turned you into the Green Goblin, we could work together to create something that could destroy Spider-Man, for good! They say the enemy of my enemy is my friend. What do you say, Osborn? Interested?" Norman shook Talia's hand and asked, "when can we start?"
