"Just follow my lead, and you'll be alright," Mingyu said, giving her hand a gentle squeeze.

A few hours passed, with the two of them just talking, joking, laughing and dancing together, drinking some strong fruit punch in between.

Hyeri gradually let loose, and was actually enjoying herself with Mingyu, who wasn't a bad guy at all. There were moments when other drunk guys would approach her with obvious intentions, and Mingyu would put an arm around her protectively and sternly send them away.

When a groovy, hip-shaking song began playing, Hyeri did exactly did. Someone bumped into her, causing her to turn her back to Mingyu, but she could still feel his warm and hard body on her back.

The alcohol was definitely getting to her, because she grabbed his hands and placed them around her hips, as if they were moving and dancing together.

Mingyu took two steps back, and Hyeri took three steps back, not liking the cold air that hit her exposed back when he moved away. She continued grinding their hips together, until Mingyu's hands firmly gripped her hips, forcing her to stop. She tried turning back to see what was wrong, but couldn't move because of his steel-like grip.

"Fuck, Hyeri," he groaned in her ears, "stop moving."

His deep voice did things to her body, but she stayed still as he commanded. "What happened?" She asked, head slightly turning to look at his face scrunched up in pain.

Mingyu pulled her body closer to his, until she could feel something hard poking her lower back. "This," he whispered gravelly.

Hyeri froze, mind going blank for a second. She felt a little more sober now. "What should I do?"

"Just. . . stay still till it goes."

Hyeri stayed silent for ten seconds. They were in the corner of the dance floor, and no one was paying attention to them.

"And what if I don't?" Hyeri asked, moving slowly against his hips again.

Mingyu immediately spun Hyeri around, until her chest was pressed against his own. She noticed his jaw was clenched, and a vein was popping on his forehead and neck. He stared intensely into her eyes, trying to figure out what she was trying to do.

"What are you trying to do?" He asked slowly, when he couldn't read her eyes.

"What do you want me to be doing?" Hyeri replied to his question with another question.

"A lot of things," Mingyu answered truthfully, after thinking for a while, "none of them good though."

"I think we have very different definitions of what 'good things' mean." Hyeri blinked innocently, though her words had a meaning that was far from innocent.

Mingyu was still staring at her face, mind screaming at him to grab her hand and run into the nearest room.

Hyeri realised that Mingyu would continue to reject the hints, until she outright told him what she wanted clearly. She sighed, and wrapped her hands around his neck, standing on her toes. Despite this, she had to pull at his neck, because he was too tall, until their lips met.

Mingyu froze for a second, but kissed her back eventually, matching Hyeri's passionate actions.

When they both pulled back for a breath, their cheeks were red. Mingyu noticed a shine in Hyeri's eyes, which definitely wasn't a reflection of the dim lights around them.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Mingyu asked, not wanting to force her into doing anything.

Hyeri grabbed his hands, and nodded. "Yes."

"Let's go."

Mingyu and Hyeri walked through the drunken crowd, hands still intertwined. They left the party, and continued walking. Hyeri realised it was the same road she had come with Soonyoung.

Soonyoung.

She hadn't seen him at all, and hadn't gotten a chance to tell him that she was leaving. Of course, she would've left out the part where she left with Mingyu. She decided to send him a text message later.

They continued walking, and although no one said a word, Mingyu removed his jacket and wrapped it around Hyeri's shoulders when he felt her shivering at the cold wind that was blowing.

Once they reached the same building she had been at a few hours earlier, Hyeri began to feel excited again. Butterflies erupted in her stomach at the thought of the night that awaited her, and just wouldn't settle down.

Mingyu opened the door to his shared room with Soonyoung, and led Hyeri inside. He softly closed the door behind him, latching it.

Hyeri quickly sent Soonyoung a text that she already left the party and was safely in her room. Mingyu too sent his roommate a quick text, saying that he had brought someone over to the room and would like to not be disturbed for the night.

When they were both done, and had no other excuses to delay the inevitable, Mingyu spoke up. "I'm asking once again, are you sure you want to do this? I don't want to make you do something you don't want to do. We've both drank tonight, so I don't want that to cloud your judgement."

"I sobered up during our walk here, and I still want you as much as I wanted you before. I want this, Mingyu," she said firmly.

"That's good," he muttered, walking closer to Hyeri, hands immediately roaming all over body, "because I wasn't sure how much longer I could hold myself back."

*dies out of cringe lol

I don't mind writing stuff like this, but putting it out for an audience just makes me question all my life decisions
pls be kind ab it thx

also, I never rly ask for votes or comments, but if I'm being honest, it's kind of very demotivating to put in so much time and effort for something, only for it to get almost zero interactions. I'm aware that I have many silent readers, and I appreciate all of you, because we just hit 1K reads, but a little comment or a vote would really make me happy, and make me actually want to write and do better for you guys.
