Someone Told Me To Update So Here
Your P.O.V.
You hadn't slept last night, for every time your eyes shut, thoughts of Sphintus flooded through your mind. What if he hadn't stopped? You wanted to know desperately, biting your lip in frustration.
"Good morning, Y/N." Sphintus awoke, muscular arms around your petite torso. His voice was husky, a shiver down your spine.
"Good morning," You replied, surprised your words managed to come out of your lips. You sat up, the worn tank top you were wearing slightly falling down one shoulder. "What should I wear? As I am going to class with you, I'm not intending to stay here the day."
Sphintus groaned, licking his lips and pushing himself up from the soft bed with calloused hands. "I don't know. Maybe something uniform-ish." You nodded, pulling out a uniform and putting it on. You combed through your hair, allowing the silky locks to cascade down your small frame.
"I get a hot little fallen angel, don't I?" Sphintus threw his clothes on as well, splashing his face with water from the sink. "The sad part is, no one will ever be as hot as me."
You giggled, interested in his sudden change in personality. "Shouldn't we be going? We're going to be late." Sphintus checked the time, going in to a panic.
"Y/N, let's go!" Sphintus began to run down the hallway, dragging you along with him. You two managed to reach the class before it starts, a sigh escaping Sphintus's lips.
"GET IN LINE, YOU SCUM!" A teacher, one you presume to teach strengthening of the physical body, yelled at the students. You simply stood there, doing nothing at all. The teacher noticed, her head snapping to look at you, a glare that could kill aimed at you. "Did you not hear me?" A low growl accompanied the harsh tone.
"I did. You said, 'Get in line, you scum.' I do not classify as scum, so I did not line up. But I did hear you." The teacher's left brow twitched, her mouth open to yell, but Sphintus interjected.
"Come." You were at his side almost in no time, taking a knee below him. Sphintus forced your head down, into a bow of sorts. "I'm sorry, Ma'am. But can she stay in our class? She's been through some tough times, and I promised I would help her."
The teacher clicked her tongue, scowling. "Fine. But on one condition. The little devil has to pass a little exam. She must be able to control each of the elements, and they have to react to her happily." The teacher had a smirk on her face, thinking you couldn't do it. You awaited a command, your lifeless eyes looking into Sphintus's bright ones.
"Complete the selected task." The order was set.
You smiled, your e/c eyes almost twinkling back to life. White and black rukh went out and came back in together in an instant, merging and gathering molecules. A flash of color, then the elements began their ancient sequence.
The piece of earth had life put into it, then water as well. The life grew into a flower. Lighting and thunder attempted to kill off the life, but it survived. A windstorm came, but it did not kill off the flower. A bushfire grew around the flower, but died off. Sound had no effect, either. But then death came along, a sickening purple cloud. The life, the representation of it, scattered across the dirt underneath everyone's feet.
Your hands, your fingers, they had returned to their normal position and stopped orchestrating the sequence. The people around you stared, shock at the display. It was only about the size of a dollar bill, but intricate and scarily accurate. The teacher was dumbstruck, mumbling that yes, you could stay in the class.
"Yo Spintus!" A random, character only important to the plot for a bit yelled out to Sphintus. "Why are you ordering that chick around? She your slave-toy?"
"I am not anyone's slave or toy. I am most certainly able to explain the situation to you, but you would fail to comprehend." Your tone sounded cheery, but it hurt. A few other students were also a tad confused about the ordeal, but said nothing.
You then had an urge. You felt a strong need to spread your wings, meaning Lucifer was requesting an audience from you. You informed Sphintus of the urgency, rushing off to a quiet, desolate, isolate place.
