"So what's going on between you and Spencer?" Asked JJ.

You shrugged your shoulders, "nothing were fine." But in reality you two weren't 'fine'. In fact you guys were far from fine.

It all happened about a week earlier at your apartment. Spencer had come over for dinner and afterwards is when the awkwardness started. So, there you were, in your best outfit, bringing spencer a glass of wine before you fell. As you fell the glass of wine spilled ALL over Spencer. Immediately you began trying to wipe it up, but that only caused Spencer to squirm. Once you l realized where you were patting Spencer, things became more clear as to why he was wiggling.

"Spencer, I'm so sorry." You said, taking your hands off of him.

"It's fine, but I should be going. I'll see you at work!" He shouted as he raced out of your apartment.

That brought you to the present day. Spencer and you had avoided all eye contact, and you two barley spoke to one another.

Spencer rounded the corner to get another cup of coffee, which is where you and JJ happened to be.

"Oh, I didn-," Spencer started but you cut him off.

"No it's fine. I was leaving." You said, gathering the case file in your hand and starting to walk out the door.

"Actually, I need to talk to you, JJ do you mind." He asked.

When she walked out of the room, she closed the door behind her, leaving you two all alone.

"Spence, I'm so sorry for the other night. I didn't reali-" but now he had cut you off with a kiss.

When you pulled apart you looked at him, "okay.. What, uh, what was that for."

"It was for you being you. Ever since the wine mishap you've been avoiding me and I think it's adorable. There's no one out there like you. Amd now I'm going to ask you what I wanted to ask you the other night, will you be my girlfriend?"

Your face lit up with excitement as you smiled back at him.
