Third Person's POV

We start in seaside island in the beach as Knuckles is stretching because he and Sonic are playing coconut hurl. Tails is talking into a pretend microphone made of a pinecone on a stick, Turbo is sitting next to him and Brody and Ralph watch them while laying on the beach relaxed "It all comes down to this final toss for the young echidna from Angel Island. He'll need a score of four to take the championship" Tails said and Knuckles grabs Sonic and starts swinging him around "Can he do it? Can he score a four? Can he beat Ralph? The crowd is on their feet!" Turbo said " Can you get on with it already?" Amy asks and Knuckles throws Sonic and knocks three coconuts out of the tree "Denied! Three coconuts is not quite four" Tails said "Look!" Sticks said and a fourth coconut falls and hits Amy on the head "Ow!" Amy said and Sonic and Knuckles laugh "They've done it! They've achieved the impossible! The team of Knuckles and Sonic has bested the team of Brody and Ralph!" Turbo said "Wait a minute. Ralph and Brody played before?" Amy asks "Yeah they did." Knuckles said and he and Sonic go to Brody and Ralph "Where's our kiss prize?" Sonic asks "We were told we'd get a kiss if we beat you two" Knuckles said "You promised that?" Ralph asks who had his eyes closed "I don't remember saying that" Brody said and a giant black storm cloud comes with a sunrise, Dr. Eggman arrives from the cloud "Behold, rodents! Prepare to face the most fearsome destructive force ever to grace this, or any other world" Eggman said and lifts his arm towards the storm cloud he came from and poses awkwardly and Sonic and co. all stare at Eggman and the cloud "It'll be just a minute. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves" Eggman said and again lifts his arm towards the storm's direction, taking his pose again and Sonic and co. are still staring continuously "Your doom is coming, I assure you!" Eggman said and once more lifts his arm toward's the storm's direction. More silence and Sonic and Knuckles, appear to be getting impatient. A cow's moo is then heard "Ahh, here it is now! This. Is. Cowbot!" Eggman said pointing at a robot cow, making its way towards the beach. It then lands in front of Team Sonic "It's a cow" Amy said "It's a cow-bot" Eggman said and Team Sonic suddenly bursts out laughing "What's so funny?" Eggman asks "Cowbot? That has to be the lamest thing you've ever come up with" Brody said "Not true. There was Spoonbot, Crybot, Mathbot, ooh, and who can forget Lamebot? Wait, what am I saying?" Eggman asks "Yeah..." Sonic said "Forgot about that one" Amy said "My breakfast is plotting to kill me..." Sticks said and there's a sudden silence as Team Sonic suddenly looks at Sticks, who immediately notices them looking at her. Eggman hears an alert on his wrist controller go off "Ooh! Time to move my laundry to the dryer. I'll leave you with Cowbot's capable hooves" Eggman said and then turns away to go back to his lair "Okay guys, let's destroy this thing so we can get back to coconut hurl" Sonic said and Eggman suddenly stops his Eggmobile and turns around "Oh, did I mention that Cowbot is filled with Mootonium? A pun-based radioactive compound? If you destroy him, he'll vaporize everything in a 20-mile radius. Toodles!" Eggman said and turns back around to return to his lair. Cowbot suddenly shoots a missile toward Team Sonic, but it hits the ground in front of them, making a small explosion "He's firing crud missiles!" Sticks said and Team Sonic run away from Cowbot, who continues to fire missiles at the group. The team hides behind some bushes, and a missile from Cowbot hits a coconut tree, dropping five coconuts on the ground. Knuckles suddenly appears from behind the bushes "MY RECORD!" Knuckles said crying "There there big guy" Ralph said rubbing his back and kisses his cheek "If we can't smash that thing, what can we do?" Amy asks "Looks like there's an access panel on top" Tails said "If Tails and I can get to it, maybe We can reprogram Cowbot" Turbo said "Time to tip this cow!" Ralph said "Brody and I'll distract him!" Sonic said as he and Brody run past Cowbot, the latter noticing and shooting more missiles at him. Meanwhile, Tails, Turbo, Amy, Knuckles, Ralph and Sticks got to Cowbot "One..." Tails, Turbo, Knuckles, Ralph, Sticks and Amy said as they all prepare to push Cowbot on his side. Sonic and Brody, who are continuing to distract Cowbot. A missile almost hits them, making them nearly lose their balance "Any day now guys!" Sonic and Brody said "Two..." Tails, Turbo, Knuckles, Ralph, Amy and Sticks said doing more pushing and a missile from Cowbot makes Sonic and Brody fall over and slide on the ground, getting sand into their mouths. The latter two immediately spit it out "Three!" Tails, Turbo, Knuckles, Ralph, Amy and Sticks said and Team Sonic successfully pushes Cowbot on its side, rendering it unable to move. Tails flies himself and Turbo up to the access panel, open it, and proceed to work on Cowbot. It suddenly is enveloped by electricity and milk suddenly comes from Cowbot's "utters". Knuckles, Ralph,  Amy, and Sticks manage to dodge it before it hits them "That should do it!" Tails said and Cowbot's eyes suddenly turn red, and it tries to get back on its feet "Or not..." Turbo said and Cowbot stands back up, making a loud moo before flying away in a different direction toward the ocean "Uhh, Tails, Turbo. What's going on?" Sonic asks "Not sure. It's original programming was to destroy Sonic and Brody, so since We reversed it..." Turbo said "It's going after Eggman! Classic!" Brody said "No, it's not classic. It's awful! That thing's a killing machine and if it explodes, no more Eggman!" Amy said "Is that bad?" Ralph asks "Yes!" Amy said "Ugh, fine. We'll go warn him. Tails, Turbo, you guys are coming with us, and bring your science stuff" Sonic said "You got it Sonic and Brody!" Tails and Turbo said.

*Later at Eggman's Lair*

Sonic, Brody, Turbo and Tails arrive at the lair in Tails' Plane. The plane lands near the lair "Tails, Turbo, wait here. Who knows what kind of crazy defenses Eggman has" Brody said as he and Sonic jump off the plane and sneak towards the lair. Eventually, they knock on the lair door, but nobody responds "Huh, nothing. You think you know a villain..." Sonic said and as Sonic and Brody begin walking back, Eggman opens the door, wearing his onesie "Oh. I wasn't expecting company" Eggman said "Yeah, I figured that out" Sonic said quietly "Uh, don't you have some kind of defense system... And pants?" Brody asks "Funny story. I use parts from my defense system to make the Cowbot I sent to destroy you. How'd that work out by the way?" Eggman asks "Tails and Turbo reprogrammed it and now it's on the way here to destroy you instead. So, good luck with all that" Sonic said as he and Brody wave and walk back "Toodles" Sonic said "But you two can't just leave me here without my defenses. I'd be... Uh... What's the word?" Eggman asks "Defenseless?" Brody asks "Do you need us to bring your defense systems back online?" Turbo asks "Nah, I'm good, unless you've activated Cowbot's stage two directive, then my defenses will be useless" Eggman said "That's not that whole red eyes thingy, is it?" Sonic asks "Yeah. How did you know?" Eggman asks "Lucky guess?" Brody said.

*Inside Eggman's Lair, HQ room*

Tails and Turbo are sitting at Eggman's console "The only way to stop Cowbot is to upgrade Eggman's defense system" Tails said "You'd do that for me? After all the terrible - yet totally justified - things I've tried to do to you?" Eggman asks "A good thing We told you to bring your science stuff, huh, Tails? You and Turbo start working on Eggman's defenses, Sonic and I'll gather up parts. And Eggman" Brody said "Put on some pants" Sonic said.

Tails and Turbo are working on a circuit board. Eggman works on a freeze ray. Sonic makes himself and Brody chili dogs. A door opens and a Motobug comes charging into the room. Eggman fires his finished freeze ray, freezing the robot next to Sonic, Brody, Turbo and Tails, who looks at each other satisfied.

*Outside Eggman's Lair*

Sonic and Brody push a machine outside. Eggman presses a button on a remote control, deploying some drones. Eggman presses a button on his remote control, making the drones form a force field around the lair. Sonic and Brody, however, discovers two chili dogs outside the force field, and has Eggman turn the force field off so that they can retrieve it. After Sonic and Brody return, eating the chili dogs, Eggman turns the force field back on as Cowbot, appears high in the sky and looks at Sonic, Brody, Turbo, Tails and Eggman "Okay. When Cowbot comes in range, Eggman will lower the force field. Sonic and I'll zap Cowbot with the freeze ray, and Tails and Turbo, you fly over and disarm it" Brody said and they all put their hands together "All right" Sonic said and they all raise their hands "Let's rock! Haha!" Sonic said and they all assume their fighting stances "Let's butcher this bovine!" Tails said and after a brief pause they all drop their arms in boredom "I think we have some time" Brody said "You want to go inside? I got cocoa" Eggman said.

*Inside Eggman's Lair, living room*

Turbo drinks the cocoa "That is some interesting cocoa" Turbo said "Wanna guess my secret ingredient?" Eggman asks "If he says love, I'm out of here" Sonic said "Hmm... Is it nutmeg?" Tails asks "Close. It's actually a tablespoon of garlic powder" Eggman said "That explains the texture" Turbo said and Sonic and Brody are about to put their cups down on the table, but Eggman notices and puts two coasters underneath the cups "Whoa whoa whoa. Coaster? What? Were you  two raised in a barn?" Eggman asks and Sonic and Brody eat a cookie. Just as they do so, Eggman turns on a blowdryer, sucking up the crumbs on Sonic's scarf. Sonicand Brody react in disgust "Wanna guess the secret ingredient?" Eggman asks "Garlic?" Brody asks "Nope. Love! Just kidding, it's garlic" Eggman said "I though he was annoying when he was just trying to destroy us" Sonic said.

Sonic, Brody, Tails, Turbo and Eggman are watching TV "Don't go in there, it's a trap!" Eggman said and screaming is heard on the TV "Can you believe she went in there?" Eggman asks "Yeah, and after you warned her and everything" Sonic said miserably. Outside Eggman's Lair, Sonic, Brody, Turbo, Tails and Eggman are still waiting for Cowbot "So what do you guys do for fun?" Eggman asks.

Tails is holding a pinecone as a microphone whispering "Here we are at the coconut hurl Grand Championship. Sonic the Hedgehog will be tossing his arch-rival Dr. Eggman. Let's join the game already in progress" Tails said and Sonic tries to lift Eggman, but fails " Oh! That's going to be a penalty" Turbo said. The five sit and wait for Cowbot "Hey. I got an idea!" Eggman said. Sonic tosses Eggman with a catapult. Eggman bumps into a potted palm tree, causing a large number of coconuts to drop on him "They've done it! A new record!" Turbo said and crowds cheering is played in the background as Eggman and Sonic give a high five. At evening, the five watch the sunset.

At night, the five sit around a campfire "We've been up forever. When is Cowbot gonna get here?" Brody and Sonic ask "You two are so impatient, Sonic and Brody. Sometimes you got to slow down and enjoy life. Here, have a roasted marshmallow" Eggman said and Sonic and Brody take the sticks of marshmallows off Eggman and taste it "Mmm... Sticky, but good" Sonic and Brody said "Really good" Turbo said "I never get to do stuff like this with Orbot and Cubot. Marshmallows always gunk up their circuitry" Eggman said "Yeah, that's the problem with having no real friends" Brody said "Yeah... Hey, you know who I hate? That Dave the Intern. Am I right, eh?" Eggman asks "You know, I never gave him that much thought" Sonic said "Are there any more marshmallows?" Tails asks "Hey, Sonic. Bro to bro. When are you and Brody getting married?" Eggman asks making Sonic and Brody blush.

*The next day*

The five are fast asleep. Rumbling is felt as Eggman stretches and wakes up as Cowbot arrives, firing pellets at the force field. Eggman panics "Wake up! Wake up!" Eggman said and Sonic, Brody, Turbo and Tails wake up "Engage all defense systems!" Turbo and Tails said "Turning off the force field!" Eggman said and presses a button on his remote control with his marshmallow-covered finger. The remote control fizzles and a few holes in the force field open "Uh, I'm having some trouble here" Eggman said and Sonic and Brody try to control the freeze ray, but cannot, as their hands are covered in marshmallow gunk "This thing's all gunked up. Our hands are sticky from the marshmallows!" Sonic and Brody said "It's game over, man. Game over!" Eggman said and Tails and Turbo look at their hands which are also covered in marshmallow "Marshmallow! If they gunk up our machinery, they'll gunk up Cowbot's too!" Tails and Turbo said "But how are we gonna reach the access panel?" Sonic asks. A catapult is set up with Sonic and Brody on it and Eggman about to toss them "Ready. Aim. Fire!" Brody said and Eggman launches the catapult, launching Sonic and Brody, who are holding  buckets of marshmallow, into the air. However, Sonic and Brody miss Cowbot and hit the force field instead, causing them to fall down on the ground "We said aim!" Sonic and Brody said angry "Oh, was that meant for me?" Eggman asks and Sonic and Brody sit in the catapult once more with a bucket of marshmallow "Ready" Sonic said and the two slowly look at Eggman "Aim. Fire" Sonic and Brody said and Eggman releases the catapult again. Sonic and Brody fly through the hole in the force field and land on Cowbot. Sonic and Brody open up the access panel and pour marshmallow into Cowbot. Cowbot malfunctions and breaks down. Sonic and Brody jump back inside the force field and Cowbot crashes on the island and shuts down "It worked!" Eggman said "That's the beauty of teamwork" Turbo said "Not teamwork, my master plan. I tricked you into helping me upgrade my security system. Now, I can use your own tech against you" Eggman said "Oh. So that's how it's gonna be, huh?" Sonic asks and he and Brody, with the two buckets of marshmallow, run around Eggman's lair and pours marshmallow over Eggman's various equipment and new machines that he made with Sonic, Brody, Turbo and Tails' aid, short-circuiting them and the force field de-activates "I really need to stop doing that thing where I gloat and explain exactly what you need to do to stop me" Eggman said "Our work here is done. Come on, Tails and Turbo" Brody said  and he, Sonic, Turbo and Tails walk off. Meanwhile, the lair door opens with Orbot and Cubot showing up "Dr. Eggman, may we come out now?" Orbot asks "No!" Eggman said and both Orbot and Cubot discover marshmallows on the ground "Ooh, marshmallows!" Cubot said and he and Orbot eat the marshmallows and instantly break down as this chapter comes to an end.
