Third Person's POV

We start in Meh Burger in the day, "One Meh Cheese Regal, hold the ordinary onions, so-so sauce on the side" Amy said "Here" Dave said "This is a "Something's Fishy Sandwich"" Dave said "So....?" Dave asks "It's not what I ordered" Amy said and Dave blinks twice showing no interest "And the head is still on it" Amy said and Dave blinks twice again still showing no interest making Amy angry "And it's still alive!" Amy said and the fish tries to get out "Fine!" Dave said and grabs her tray and looks as if he will fix it, but simply turns around leaving no changes on the burger just to make her go away "Here" Dave said and Amy growls and leaves. Dave picks up the burger "You want it to go?" Dave asks.

*later in the Village center*

Sonic, Brody and their friends are playing soccer "Me! I'm open!" Sonic said "Sonic, pass it to here!" Brody said "Coming to you, Brody!" Sonic said and after he kicks the ball Amy hammers it "Hey" Knuckles said "Hey, your Meh Burger looks weird" Sonic said "It's not a stupid Meh Burger. I made this myself" Amy said in a mocking insulting tone "So it's a me Burger. An Amy Burger!"  Sonic said and he and Brody laugh but Amy doesn't laugh "See, I-I-I took the original name and did a clever twist on it, using your name" Sonic said "Yeah, clever" Amy said sarcastic "I thought it was clever, Sonic" Brody said "Me too" Tails said "Thanks" Sonic said "Hey let's go to Meh Burger" Knuckles said "Meh Burger is horrible! The people of this Unnamed village deserve better. I'm gonna open a restaurant with good service, a pleasant, inviting atmosphere—" Amy said "And a moat? And laser turrets!?" Sticks asks "Probably not" Amy said "Amy, you don't know anything about running a restaurant" Brody said "I'm really gonna do it. I'm opening a restaurant! Are you guys with me?!" Amy asks "Yeah..." Tails and Turbo said "Yes..." Sonic and Brody said "Fine..." Ralph and Knuckles said "Don't blame me when it's overrun with invaders!" Sticks said.

*Later at Chez Amy*

"Present spatulas!" Amy said and looks at Tails and Turbo "Good" Amy said and then looks at Sonic and Brody "Very nice" Amy said and looks at Sticks' boomerang "Sticks, that's not a spatula. Lose it" Amy said and Sticks throws her boomerang and glass shattering is heard and Amy looks at Knuckles' hat "Knuckles! Your hat is on backwards" Amy said and Knuckles turns his hat "I'm about to teach Dave the Intern a lesson he'll never forget!" Amy said "You're really getting tilted over a burger" Knuckles said "Welcome to Chez Amy, where our motto is, "At least we know what you ordered!"" Amy said and when the customers at Meh Burger hear this, they go to Chez Amy and step on Amy (including Team Sonic) and she screams and is shown lying on the ground and in Meh Burger, "YOU WIN THIS ROUND! But just you" Dave said and punches the burger, splattering ketchup on himself "wait!" Dave said.

Sonic and Brody are taking orders of people "See? People want good service. Dave the Intern can't compete with that" Amy said "Ahoy! The new Meh Burger drive-thorugh express is now open!" Dave said on a speaker "That voice from the sky is right. Why are we wasting our time here when we could be using a drive-through?" Mike asks "Because none of have cars!" Amy said and the people of the Unnamed Village groan in agreement. They then cheer and go to Meh Burger "Don't worry Amy... It's just a stupid gimmick. It'll pass" Turbo said "Yes it will, especially when I have my OWN stupid gimmick!" Amy said and whistles "I'm excited to announce that starting today, every customer will recive... uh... a Chez Amy... Magic fun lump!" Amy said "Magic fun lumps?!" The old monkey asks "I'm going to collect all fo-o-o-our!" The lady goat said and the villagers get excited again and stomp on Amy again.

*Later at Meh Burger*

"Day two of the Battle of the buns and already Meh Burger finds itself in a real "pickle". Can it "ketchup? Will Chez Amy "meat" the challenge? "Lettuce" wait and see" Soar said and laughs "Hello, Putlitzer" He said.

At Chez Amy, "How're you folks doing? Magic fun lump for the kids?" Amy asks "They're fun to throw!" The child monkey said and throws the rock at Knuckles and he drops the Amy Sauce onto his head " Guys! Chez Amy is all about service. Friendly, smiling, happy service" Amy said "Now get your lazy buts in gear!" Amy said angry to Team Sonic and they work but Amy is still angry "Knuckles, QUIT EATING THE AMY SAUCE!" Amy said but Knuckles didn't hear her words and Amy confidently looks at her rival.

In Meh Burger, "You haven't won yet, I shall have my revenge!" Dave said and shoots a Meh Burger at Lady Walrus "Mmm, that Meh Burger looks delicious!" Lady Walrus said and everyone goes to Meh Burger "Burger me!" Mike said "Make mine pre-chewed!" The old monkey said "Shoot it in my mo-o-o-o-u-u-u-th!" The lady goat said and Dave shoots the Meh Burgers in the villagers' mouths and Amy gets angry.

"Now, I've designed a food deliver system that bypasses the mouth and inserts the food directly into the customers' stomachs" Amy said showing Team Sonic her plan "Ugh! Okay, Amy, you've totally lost sight of why you're doing this" Sonic said "I'm doing this to destroy Dave the Intern and unerring instincts for what the public wants! I don't care what they want, I KNOW WHAT THEY NEED! GOOD SERVICE WITH A WARM, FRIENDLY SMILE! NOW TELL THEM TO GET IN HERE!" Amy said furious "This is nuts..." Sticks said and Sonic thinks that they need to leave. Amy tries to show them her plans, but her friends leave.

*Later in Meh Burger*

"I'd like a Meh Burger" Eggman said and Dave gets a Meh Burger, but drops it on the floor. He picks it up "Here" Dave said "That's disgusting! Get me a new one" Eggman said "Sorry, I'm on break" Dave said and plays with a paddle ball. Eggman growls.

At Chez Amy, Amy is sitting at her table sulking and looking at a sandwich. Eggman, with a frown on his face, enters the building "Eggman, what do you want?" Amy asks annoyed "Revenge, domination, destruction! But first, a sandwich of some sort" Eggman said "Why don't you just go to stupid Meh Burger like everyone else?" Amy asks " I did. But that simpering jackanapes who works behind the counter was to "busy" to serve me; and my blood sugar was too low to concoct an evil plan to destroy him" Eggman said and picks up the sandwich from Amy's plate and takes a bite "Oh. Th-that's good. And the service was so fast. Giving me your plate was a tad unhygienic, but still, I'm impressed" Eggman said.

Meanwhile in Seaside Island beach, the rest of Team Sonic are playing soccer. Sonic dribbles past Sticks, Tails and Knuckles before kicking the ball past two coconuts placed as goalposts "Anyone else hungry?" Sonic asks "Yeah" Knuckles said "Let's have lunch at Chez Amy" Brody said "We'll never get past the moat" Sticks said "And if we do, she'll make us work and yell at us" Knuckles said "OK. We won't go" Brody said "I think going to Amy's restaurant is a great idea" Tails said "Thanks" Brody said.

Back in Chez Amy, Amy is covering her ears while Eggman eats the last of his food "That was delicious. Why isn't this place packed?" Eggman asks "Clearly I don't know how to bring in the customers" Amy said annoyed "Well, I do. Make me your partner, and I'll fill the place, and together, we'll bring Meh Burger to its knees" Eggman said "Even though it's a building" He said quietly and Amy thinks for a moment. She then agrees with Eggman's idea and shakes his hand.

The villagers are having food. Amy walks with a tray. Orbot and Cubot, wearing chef's hats, are preparing food. Amy walks over and picks up the robot's tray, and then turns to Eggman "I don't know how you did it, but you totally turn things around" Amy said "It was simple. I blew up Meh Burger last night" Eggman said and Amy gets annoyed and drops her tray "You what?!" Amy asks "Look, I'm a villain. I have a pretty limited playbook" Eggman said and looks at the dropped food "That's coming out of your paycheck" Eggman said.

Eggman looks out from the doorway "Ooh, look!" Eggman said pointing at Dave "It's that fellow from Meh Burger" Eggman said and Dave is miserably walking beside a well "He seems sad" Eggman said and Dave kicks a stone "Now's your chance to rub salt in his wounds. Go! Go and taunt your vanquished foe! Grind your heel into the carcass of your defeated enemy! Humiliate him, and brush away the fragments of a shattered confidence!" Eggman said and Amy and Dave walk over to Eggman "I felt bad for him, so I gave him a job" Amy said and she and Dave walk past Eggman into the building "Okay. You've got a lot to learn about foe vanquishing and salt wound rubbing" Eggman said "Here at Chez Amy we offer service with a smile" Amy said to Dave "A what now?" Dave asks "That... thing you do with your mouth, where it turns up at the ends?" Amy asks and Dave is still sulking. After a pause, he shows a slight smile on his face "Remember. The customer always comes first. So" Amy said "make sure you give them exactly what they want" Amy said angrily and Eggman walks in. Amy walks off "Can I go on break now?" Dave asks "First, get me an Amy Royale" Eggman said "I'm on my break" Dave said and Eggman growls.

Customers are having their meals at Chez Amy. Eggman is waiting at his table. Dave serves Eggman a salad and a soup "Can I get..." Eggman said "We're out" Dave interrupts and Eggman grunts in anger and tries his food and then holds a bowl of soup and his fork " The soup is cold, and the salad is hot! How is that even possible?!" Eggman asks and bangs on his table and Dave is mopping up beside Eggman's feet "Do you have to do that here?! Okay, I'll move" Eggman said and gets up "You can't! Don't you see the cones?" Dave asks and Eggman growls again. Dave continues to mop up "Fine. I'll stay. Get me a sandwich" Eggman said and Dave stops mopping and walks off. Eggman stands up and walks, but slips on the wet floor and falls on his back "Someone, help me up!" Eggman said "I'm in my break!" Dave said and Eggman growls louder. Orbot and Cubot laugh at Eggman. As soon as Eggman spots them, they duck down. Eggman stands back up on his feet and looks at Dave, playing with his paddle ball "That's it! Prepare to be eliminated!" Eggman said angrily and presses a button on his wrist controller. Chez Amy shakes and rumbles, scaring the customers and they run out of the building behind Amy "What's going on?!" Amy asks "The annihilation of that upstart by my army of robots" Eggman said and a Motobug breaks in through the door of the building and approaches Amy "But this is half your restaurant!" Amy said and brings out her Hammer and smacks the Motobug "Like I say, I don't have a lot of plays in my playbook. But if it makes you feel better, I'll just destroy your half" Eggman said and Amy blinks and frowns. Eggman runs away while more Badniks arrive at the building. A Motobug and a Bee Bot fire lasers at the building, causing explosions. Orbot and Cubot look at each other and throw their plates down on the floor, smashing them. Amy whacks a Motobug and a Crab Bot with her hammer. She misses a Bee Bot however, as it flies around inside the building. She runs out of the front door, only to discover to her horror that a swarm of Eggman's Badniks are loitering outside her building. She calls Sonic on her Communicator "Sonic. I need some help with the restaurant!" Amy said.

At the beach, Sonic is relaxing on sunbeds cuddled up to Brody "Amy, we don't want to work for you" Sonic said annoyed "Eggman's robots are attacking and I..." Amy said "Well I'm happy to help with that!" Sonic said excited and he and Brody run off.

Sonic and Brody arrive at the scene and slides into a Motobug. They spin attack into another Motobug and a Crab Bot just as Amy hammers a Bee Bot from mid-air. As Orbot and Cubot retreat, Amy hammers two Motobugs before Sonic catches a third Motobug approaching Amy. Tails and Turbo's plane arrives at the scene, with Knuckles, Ralph and Sticks falling off onto the ground to engage in combat. Sticks throws her boomerang at a Bee Bot, destroying it. Knuckles and Ralph punch three more Badniks. Tails activates a button that deploys a series of melons. The melons fall on the Badniks, breaking them. The rest of Team Sonic fight off the remaining Badniks. Turbo parks his plane on the ground while Amy hammers another Motobug and another Crab Bot. Amy, Knuckles, Ralph, Brody and Sonic walk over to the wrecked remains of Chez Amy where Dave is still inside "So do I still get my break?" Dave asks.

Later at Meh Burger, "From now on, I'm going to leave the food service to the professionals, and do the kicking butt with my friends!" Amy said and Dave serves the tray of Meh Burgers to Team Sonic "As a thank you for rebuilding Meh Burger, this is on the house" Dave said and everyone grabs a Meh Burger. Amy looks up in disgust when she discovers a living fish inside her burger as this chapter comes to an end.
