The day after the end of the last chapter.

(Ryan is currently in & out of sleep in his bed & he seems to be having a bad dream.)

(Currently in Ryan's Nightmare.)

Ryan: Aargh...NO WAIT!

???: YOU KILLED ME RYAN!

Ryan: I didn't mean to you wer-

???: I NEVER HAVE HAD A CHANCE!

Ryan: I'M SORRY!

???: YOU'RE SORRY?!? A LOT OF GOOD THAT DOES ME NOW RYAN!!

(Ryan is now on his knees, crying, hands in his face.)

Ryan: (Sob)(Sob) Is there...is there anything I can to make it up to you?

???: Yes there is something you can do.

Ryan What!?! I'll do anything!

???: You must pay for what you've done...WITH YOUR LIFE!

???: You don't deserve to live after what you did!

Ryan:You're...you're right. You're absolutely right.

???: Of course I'm right Ryan. Here.

(Hands Ryan a pistol.)

Ryan: I'm sorry.

???: I know you are. NOW DO IT!

(Ryan puts the pistol against his head but hesitates to pull the trigger.)

???: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!? PULL THE TRIGGER!!

(As Ryan is just about to pull the trigger an alarm goes off over the speakers.)

Speakers: BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Ryan: Ugh, another nightmare. This would happen on the day where I'm supposed to meet my new squad mates.

(Ryan walks over to his bathroom, washes his faces, & is now talking to his reflection in the mirror.)

Ryan: Okay Ryan you got this. You've got nothing to worry about. You're only about to meet some of the most dangerous supervillains on the planet & you have to work with them or else Amanda Waller is gonna blow your head off. (Begins to stress out a bit.) Just breathe Ryan just breathe. Maybe my squad mates are nice & we could all be friends...fingers crossed.

(There's a knock at Ryan's door.)

Guard: I'm coming in. Morning inmate.

Ryan: My name is Ry-

Guard: Don't care inmate shut up & put your suit on, mission briefing is in an hour. Come out when you're changed.

(The guard walks out of Ryan's cell.)

Ryan: Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. (Now staring at his suit.) I never thought I'd see let alone wear this thing again.
(Puts his suit on.) Stills fits, I haven't worn this since...yeah, let's not think about.

(Ryan walks out of his cell & sees the guard waiting for him.)

Guard: Alright inmate, let's get moving.

Ryan: Y'know since I've got my speed back I could just carry you to where the squad is?

Guard: How about no.

Ryan: Okay, just a suggestion...

10 Minutes Later

(The guard & Ryan reach the briefing room.)

Guard: Your friends are in there inmate.

Ryan: Okay 1) My name is Ryan not inmate & 2) the people in there are not my friends at least not yet though hopefully some if not all of the people in there can become my friends but I know that's just wishful thinking.

Guard: Whatever RYAN just head in there already.

Ryan: God, I dislike you.

(Ryan heads into the briefing room & sees all of the villains he will be working with.)

(They all look at Ryan.)

Ryan: Hello everyone.

Harley: Who's the new guy?

Black Manta: Great, another freak I have to deal with.

Killer Frost: What the hell are you looking at?

King Shark:...

(Captain Boomerang & Slipknot are too busy having their own conversation to even notice Ryan.)

(After a couple minutes of awkward silence Deadshot decides to introduce himself.)

Deadshot: (Takes his hand out to introduce himself.) Hey, the name is Dea-

Ryan: (Accepts his handshake.) Deadshot, you don't know how good it is to see you again.

Deadshot: Have we met before?

Ryan: Yeah, you don't remember?

(Ryan can tell Deadshot is making a skeptical face under his mask.)

Ryan: We did that job in Jacksonville...

Deadshot: Oh yeah, What was your name again? Distance? Yeah Distance! (breathes a sigh of relief) at least I know someone capable will be watching my back.

Ryan: Haha, the feeling is mutual.

(Harley Quinn walks up to Ryan.)

Harley: (Looks him over from head to toe.) I like your suit!

(Ryan's suit is basically a combination between The Flash's & Deadpool's suit so just imagine that.)

Ryan: Thanks, I love your hair!

Harley: *Blushes* Aren't you a charmer?

Deadshot: I'm not gonna tell you how to live your life but I suggest you keep your distance from her.

Ryan: Why?

Deadshot: You do know who she is right?

Ryan: Of course I know who she is.

Deadshot: Then why are you flirting with her?

Ryan: Hey Deadshot buddy; I don't know about you but I've been Belle Reve for a couple years now so excuse me if I try to make my move on the first pretty face I see.

Deadshot: Alright Distance don't say I didn't warn you.

(Deadshot walks off & you walk off to talk to Captain Boomerang.)

Ryan: Captain Boomerang! I'm a big fan. The way you can go toe to toe with The Flash with only boomerangs is amazing!

Boomerang: Oh I recognize you now! You're the guy who was making fun of Icicle Sr's crew.

Ryan: I forgot you were in there.

Boomerang: You're funny mate.

Ryan: Thanks.

(Before Ryan could introduce himself personally to any of the other squad members Amanda Waller & a soldier enters the room.)

Waller: Alright everyone shut up!

(The entire squad gives Waller a dirty look.)

Waller: Now that you're all acquainted let me introduce the leader of Task Force X. This man beside me is Rick Flag.

Waller: I now leave them to you Flag.

Flag: Yes ma'am!

(Waller leaves the room.)

Flag: Now before you ask, yes I have authority to blow your heads off.

Ryan: Thank you because I so wanted to know if you were also capable of blowing my head off!

*Harley is just staring dreamingly at Ryan*

*Boomerang chuckles a bit at what Ryan said*

Flag: Shut it Distance! Now before I brief you on the mission let me introduce you to my second in command.

(After Flag says this a blonde woman wearing a white suit, blue gloves & boots, & a red cape walks in.)

Ryan: *Looks at her* Wow.
