(Readers POV)

Me and Tails are flying across the sky. Tails piloting the Tornado 2 while I sat behind her in the makeshift seat she made. I looked around and noticed that we are flying near the fallen Angel Island.

(Y/N): Wow, Angel Island is a lot bigger than I thought.

Tails: It really is a sight. But we can't get distracted now!

(Y/N): R-Right!

We flew around a huge red-ish colored mountain and spotted the Egg Carrier in the distance.

Tails: Egg Carrier! Dead ahead!

(Y/N): Nice!

I looked over and saw a ledge on the mountain. There is an open grey capsule with some small animals near it and Sonia is standing in front of it. I quickly pointed my finger at her.

(Y/N): Tails! Sonia is here!

Tails looked over and saw Sonia, making her smile.

Tails: SONNNIA!!!

Sonia looked over and saw the two of us flying towards here.

Sonia: There you two are! I really like the plane!

Sonia ran over and jumped off the ledge as Tails swooped the plane under Sonia, making her land on the back of the plane.

Sonia: You two couldn't have come by at a better time!

(Y/N): And you couldn't have showed up at a better time!

Sonia: Listen Tails, Eggman captured Amy and she's on the Egg Carrier.

Tails: So this turned into a rescue mission?

(Y/N): Who's Amy?

Tails: A friend of ours.

Sonia: Now, what do you say we nail those guys?

Tails: You got it! Hang on!

Tails pushed a few buttons before the plane started to go faster to catch up to the Egg Carrier. As we got closer and closer to the Egg Carrier, I noticed some robots flying out of it and towards us.

Sonia: Looks like they brought back the welcoming party!

Tails: It's nothing to his plane can't handle!

Tails started to shoot down any and all robots that tried to take us down. She had to maneuver her way out of some bullets, barely dodging them.

Tails: So far so good!

Sonia: Hope you know what you're doin!

Tails: You bet! Watch this!

Tails quickly flew the plane to get in front of the Egg Carrier and turned around to face it.

Tails: Transforming now!

(Y/N): Transforming?!

She pushed a button, making a claw come out of the side of the plane and grab Sonia, holding her into the air. The plane started to take shape as the wings formed an X shape. Sonia was put back down on the back of the plane.

Tails: Let's do it!

The plane started to go even faster than before. I looked ahead and saw the front of the Egg Carrier open up.

(Y/N): I think it's going to shoot us down again!

The Egg Carrier shot out a large blue beam of energy, but Tails got out of the way and continued to charge forward. The beam disappeared, leaving the energy cannon open. She began to shoot at the cannon and managed to destroy it.

(Y/N): No way!

Sonia: That's payback!

Tails got above the Egg Carrier and began to fly down towards it, getting ready to land on it.

Tails: Coming in tight!

Sonia: Tails! Land us on the Egg Carrier while we have the chance!

Tails: Oops! We gotta a problem here.

(Y/N): That being?

Tails: This mode doesn't have landing gear.

(Y/N) and Sonia: WHAT?!?!

(Y/N): Quickly change it back!

Tails: We don't have time! Prepare for a rough landing!

She flew down to the Egg Carrier and managed to land on it, scraping the plane against the floor before it quickly came to a stop. Sonia got off and me and Tails got out of the plane.

Sonia: That went smoothly.

(Y/N): As smooth as a plane without landing gear can land...

Sonia: This thing is really huge! Way bigger than it looked from afar!

Tails: There is no time to gawk. We need to find Amy!

Sonia: You're right, my friend! So here we gooooo!

She said while pumping her fist in the air. We began to run forward, trying to find where this Amy could be. Tails gave me a quick description of her, wearing a red dress and having pink hair. Before we could get much farther, Eggman's voice could be heard through an intercom system.

Eggman: Don't get too many ideas, you fools! You haven't seen the power this vessel really has! Get a load of this!

I felt the whole air ship start to shake as I noticed a pair of wings fold out from the Egg Carrier.

Tails: Ahhh, wow! It changed shape! Did you see that?

Sonia: Darn! This makes it harder for us to get to the bridge!

Tails: I hate it when she doesn't listen.

(Y/N): I saw it change shape Tails.

Tails: Thank you for noticing with me...

Eggman: Hahahahaha! I bet you weren't expecting this! The only way you can get to me is through the Sky Deck! I doubt if you can figure this one out! Hahahahaha!

Sonia: Oh yeah! Well, I'll show you! Bring it on!

We walked up a small ramp and found some kind of circular door that opened up automatically.

Sonia: This must be the way to the Sky Deck.

Me, Tails, and Sonia all walked through the door and ended up in a dark, small, and cramped room.

(Y/N): I don't think this is what a Sky Deck is.

Sonia: It's pretty dark in here.

Tails: I can barely move my tails in here.

I looked around and noticed a small bit of light from above.

(Y/N): Gals?

Sonia: What is it, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I think I know how to get to the Sky Deck.

I pointed up at the light. I heard some noises of mechanical parts moving as the floor under us began to move slightly. The floor suddenly sprang the three of us up towards the light. We left the room and went into the open air. I looked back and saw that we were shot out of a cannon. Me, Tails, and Sonia landed on a metal bridge. I let out a relieved sigh.

(Y/N): That was way too close.

I looked over and saw another huge cannon moving. It stopped when facing the bridge. I saw it fire a blast of energy. Before I could move, Sonia grabbed my wrist and started to run down the metal bridge. I tried to move my legs fast enough to keep up. I looked back and saw the cannon blasting away the bridge, getting closer and closer to hitting me and Sonia.

Sonia: Brace yourself!

Sonia quickly spun around and threw me up into the air. Tails flew by and grabbed my hands, keeping me a safe distance away from the cannon. I looked down and saw the cannon was about it blast the part of the bridge where Sonia was at. She gained a burst of speed, jumping off the bridge and going to a different platform.

(Y/N): Thank goodness she managed to get outta there.

Sonia: Cmon you two! Let's keep going forward!

Sonia said before she began to dash around, going from platform to platform. Tails continued to fly around while carrying me. I jumped out from her grasp and landed on a platform. I saw a set of monkey bars going from the platform I'm on to another platform a pretty good distance away. I grabbed onto the bars and started to go forward, grabbing the bars to move forward. I looked down and saw the open sky and clouds covering the view of the ground.

(Y/N): I'm really high up...

As I kept going forward, the monkey bars suddenly broke and started to fall down. I jumped off the bars and grabbed onto the side of the platform. I shuffled against the platform as I made it to a metal bridge that was attached to the side of the platform. I sat down and took a deep breath.

(Y/N): Finally, a somewhat decent solid floor.

I looked over and noticed a giant cannon aiming at me. My face paled as I stared down the cannon's hole. Before it could fire, a missile fired at the cannon and destroyed it, revealing an opening into the interior area of the Egg Carrier.

Sonia: That was pretty close!

I looked back and saw Sonia and Tails standing by me. Sonia grabbed my hand and pulled me up to my feet. She pointed at the new opening.

Sonia: Let's go through there.

(Y/N): Yeah, but maybe we shouldn't take the Egg Carrier down while it's still so high in the air?

Tails: Eggman knows how to make a durable machine. We won't have to worry too much about it.

(Y/N): S-Sure.

Me, Sonia, and Tails all jumped into the hole and went into a room. Sonia looked around and put her arms out.

Sonia: Is that it?

Tails: It might be. But let's check out the bridge.

I heard something behind me. I quickly turned around and got ready to punch whatever was behind me, but it was just a robot cleaning the floor. It didn't even try to attack anyone, just cleaning and going on by.

(Y/N): Oh!

Me, Sonia, and Tails all walked over to a golden colored platform and all got onto it. It began to float up, leading us outside and onto the bridge of the Egg Carrier. I looked ahead and saw a pink haired girl holding a small blue bird standing in front of Eggman, who's still in his floating pod. That must be the Amy girl.

(Sonia's POV)

I jumped ahead and started to run over to Amy and Eggman. Amy looked over and noticed me heading towards her.

Amy: Sonia!

Eggman: Huh! They're too late!

I saw a claw come out of Eggman's pod and grabbed onto the blue bird and pulled it towards Eggman.

Amy: Not the birdie!

I stopped when I got in front of Amy, seeing Eggman holding onto the bird. Tails and (Y/N) ran over and stopped near me. Eggman threw the bird away and revealed that he has the cyan colored Chaos Emerald.

(Y/N): That bird had a Chaos Emerald?! What's up with animals having these things?!

Amy: No way!

The bird flew back over to Amy as I got ready to fight Eggman.

Eggman: Begone! All of you! This is all I really need! Gamma!

I heard the sound of a gunshot as a bullet flew right past my head. I looked over where the bullet came from and saw a red robot with a large gun for a hand standing a couple of feet away from me.

Eggman: Get rid of these pests! Show them what you've got!

Gamma: Aye aye, sir.

The robot said with zero emotion. Looks like I need to scrap another rust bucket.

Eggman: And don't disappoint me! Or else...

Eggman said as he began to fly away from the area. The robot aimed its arm gun at me and began to fire. I ran around, dodging the bullets. I noticed that some of the shots were actually tracking me. I jumped up and did a Homing Attack, hitting the robot in the chest, knocking it back slightly. It tried to shoot at me again. I jumped up, letting him shoot the previous bullets, causing a small explosion. I curled up into a ball and dashed downward.

Sonia: Take this!

I crashed into the robot again, knocking it down to ground. I jumped back, gaining some distance as the robot stood back up and shot another bullet at me. I smirked as I brought my foot back and kicked the bullet, sending it back and hitting the robot.

Sonia: Return to sender!

Sparks started to come from the robot as couldn't stand straight, falling down to one knee. I got ready to destroy the robot completely, but Amy shouted at me.

Amy: Stop it, Sonia!

Amy stood in front of the robot, making me stop from attacking.

Sonia: Step aside, Amy! Out of my way!

Amy: No! This robot is my friend. He helped me. Don't hurt him anymore.

I got a bit confused. Eggman doesn't make robots that care about other people, especially my friends.

Sonia: Uh, okay. Whatever you say... You must have your reasons.

I felt the Egg Carrier start to shake. I looked around, trying to see what is causing it.

(Y/N): Woah! Something is definitely not right about this!

Tails: The ship is losing altitude!

I turned to look at Tails and (Y/N).

Sonia: Tails! (Y/N)! Hurry! Take Amy and get out of here!

Amy: What about you?

Sonia: Heh! I'll find that Eggman and put him out of commission!

I turned around and started to run in the direction I saw Eggman heading to last.

(Y/N): Good luck Sonia!

I looked back at (Y/N) and smiled at him while giving him a thumbs up.
