(Sonia's POV)

After looking at a nearby map, me, (Y/N), and Tails and made our way to the planet known as Sweet Mountain. On the way there, I did notice that there are large orange light chains connecting each of the planets to the structure in the middle where Tropical Resort is. Everyone started to look around Sweet Mountain.

(Y/N): Just looking around this place makes me think I'll get a cavity.

Tails: Yeah, it looks like this entire place is made out of sweets.

Sonia: The name is definitely on the nose. Glad it wasn't false advertising.

I saw Yacker looking around before pointing one of his tentacles forward. We all looked over and saw another Wisp flying over, only that this one is a jade color. It started to speak like it needs a lot of help.

Tails: Hold on, Wisp.

She started to press a few buttons on her handheld to translate what the Wisp is saying. Tails started to read out what it said, saying that it was able to escape from Eggman. Tails started to imitate Eggman's laugh, making me laugh.

Sonia: Wow.

Tails: Excuse me?

Sonia: Oh, sorry. I was just like, into the story and that Egghead impression took me right out of it.

Tails: Okay then, would you like to read Eggman's lines?

Sonia: What? No, no, no. I mean, if you insist.

I took Tails's handheld and cleared my throat.

Sonia: I've been practicing you know.

(Y/N): You've been what?

I looked at the screen of the handheld and saw that Tails set it to where I can actually read the words.

Sonia: Ho ho ho ho hoo! You see? Once each of these alien drainers is filled to the brim, I'll have enough energy to power a whole army of my stupid machines!

Tails: Uh...

(Y/N): I think the translator is still funky.

Sonia: Of course, I'd have more if you hadn't dropped so many capsules, but I guess that's the most I can expect from the garbage I invent!

Tails: Uh, Sonia?

Sonia: Sonia! Where?! Dohhh, she's gonna kick my butt!

(Y/N): You're getting a bit TOO in character...

I looked over at Tails and (Y/N).

Tails: Would you like to stop ad-libbing, please? Just read what the translator says.

Sonia: Well, the direct translation was a little dry, okay? I'm just spicing it up.

Yacker flew over and grabbed the handheld from me and gave it back to Tails.

Tails: This poor jade Wisp is telling us her tragic story. Let's be respectful.

(Y/N): Your additions could be a little more tasteful.

I dropped down to the ground, laying on my back.

Sonia: Ugh. Fine.

I looked up at the Wisp.

Sonia: Hey, Jade, feel free to throw in a joke or a car chase or something to keep it interesting.

The jade Wisp started to speak again, making Tails read out what the translator says.

Tails: Eggman left right after that. He hopped into a cool car with flames on the side and drifted away, but then it exploded, and then suddenly a dinosaur appeared?

Sonia: Whoa, really?! Wait, you're just making it more interesting for me, aren't you?

The jade Wisp nodded her head at me.

Tails: But before he left, he put another robot in charge of the others. He called her... Oh no.

(Y/N) leaned over to see the screen. I saw him get a worried look on his face.

(Y/N): Metal Sonia is here?

Well now this is an interesting story. The Wisp went on to explain that it managed to escape thanks to the help of some other Wisps. I just want this story to be over so I can stop some evil plans.

Tails: He sacrificed himself for me, even though it was all my fault.

The jade Wisp started to cry.

(Y/N): It's going to be fine, me and Sonia can save those Wisps.

Sonia: The only part I want to hear is where I can find these creeps and aggressively recycle them.

The Wisp started to talk again.

Tails: I can lead you right to them.

Sonia: Great! I have a zero tolerance policy on bullies. We'll save your friends. Just please no more stories.

Me and (Y/N) started to run forward, with Tails, Yacker, and the jade Wisp following behind. We opened up capsules holding Wisps on the way as we came across them. I looked ahead and noticed Metal Sonia, and those two red and yellow robots standing near a large capsule. The red robot is holding some kind of flash drive that is projecting a hologram of the planet.

Orbot: The capsules have been installed all around Sweet Mountain, providing energy to Dr. Eggman's facilities. Here ya go, big sis.

I quickly Boosted to rush over and grab the flash drive from his hand. The red robot tried to grab it back, but I put my hand on its face to keep him away.

Sonia: Y'know, I'd ask you to make this easier for us, but I don't even think that's possible.

I said, smirking at Metal Sonia.

Sonia: Tails?

I tossed the flash drive up, seeing that Tails flew over and grabbed it, plugging it in her handheld. Metal Sonia dashed at me. I grabbed onto her hands and stopped her, trying to push her back.

Sonia: How's it going, Metal? You're looking hideous as usual.

Tails: This is awful!

Sonia: I know, pal. It's like looking into the world's ugliest mirror.

Tails: No! The Wisps are already being drained of their energy! If we don't hurry, we'll be too late to save them.

Sonia: Well fellas, I'd love to stick around and catch up but I really don't like any of you!

I put one of my feet on Metal Sonia's chest and leaned back, flipping over and kicking Metal Sonia back. She crashed into the capsule, releasing the Wisps inside.

Sonia: Buh bye!

I said, Boosting forward to help rescue more Wisps.

(Readers POV)

I looked back and saw that Metal Sonia got up and stared at me. Her face doesn't convey much emotion. Other than mean. I can't remember what happened when I went that dark form but from what Sonia says, I destroyed Metal Sonia.

(Y/N): Heeey... So no hard feelings... Right?

She just glared at me before dashing away to stop Sonia. I can tell she doesn't like me.

(Y/N): Alright, no need to lose your head about it.

I activated my shoes to help catch up with Sonia and the others. I managed to catch up with Sonia and Tails by taking a few shortcuts. Sonia opened a capsule, freeing the Wisps inside. They started to hug Sonia before flying away.

(Y/N): Hey gals! I made it! Also Metal Sonia is on her way!

I saw Metal Sonia dashing at Sonia, making Sonia jump up into the air as a cyan Wisp entered her body.

Sonia: If you want to stop me, you'll have to catch me first!

She turned into a cyan laser and dashed away. Me and Tails quickly made our way to catch up with Sonia. We looked ahead and saw Sonia open up another capsule. Sonia turned back to normal, but Metal Sonia crashed into Sonia, knocking her back. I saw that Meta Sonia has one of those Wisp capsules implanted in her chest now and grabbed a white Wisp. She used the capsule to drain energy out of the Wisp, making it purple now.

Sonia: Well, that's a new trick and a new low.

Me and Tails made it over to Sonia.

Tails: We don't have time for this, Sonia! The other Wisps will be drained in only a few minutes!

Sonia: It's fine. She's not looking for a fight. She's looking for a race.

Sonia started to run and opened another capsule, releasing a yellow Wisp. It went into her body, making her glow yellow and start to spin really fast like a drill, going through the dirt. Me and Tails continued to follow Sonia, opening more and more capsules as Metal Sonia chased after us. Sonia kept opening capsules while Metal Sonia absorbed more energy from nearby Wisps. I saw that she started to glow blue and dashed ahead, getting in front of Sonia. The robot hedgehog turned around and dashed right at Sonia.

(Y/N): Look out!

I saw the jade Wisp quickly enter Sonia's body, making her glow a jade color and phased right through Metal Sonia and opened up another capsule. I noticed that the Wisps that came out are all purple and on the ground now.

Tails: We were too late.

Metal Sonia started to walk towards Sonia. The jade Wisp popped out of Sonia and went into Metal Sonia, making the capsule inside her phase through her body and the Wisp left her body. The capsule released its energy and went back into the Wisps, restoring them back to normal.

(Y/N): Aye! Let's go!

I noticed that the red and yellow robot finally caught up with Metal Sonia.

Orbot: Don't worry big sis! We can still defeat them. Together! Form! Change!

All they proceeded to do was wrap themselves around Metal Sonia's arms. I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't that. Sonia quickly did a Spindash, knocking the three robots far away. Sonia uncurled from her ball and patted her hands.

Sonia: And that takes care of that.

(Y/N): Glad we dealt with her. I think things between me and Metal Sonia is going to be awkward for awhile.

Me and Sonia noticed that Tails is looking at her handheld with a sad look on her face.

Sonia: What's wrong?

Tails: There's just so many more Wisps that need to be saved. I don't think we'll be able to save them all.

I noticed that all of the freed Wisps are starting to open more capsules on their own, freeing their brethren. I tapped Tails on the shoulder and pointed forward, letting her see what's going on.

(Y/N): I think they got that covered. Now let's continue with our adventure.

Tails smiled at me and nodded her head.

Sonia: Well said. I'm ready to get back to doing our job. Ruining Eggman's whole life.

Me, Sonia, and Tails all started to run, getting ready to continue helping out the Wisps.

Tails: I'd say it's more a hobby, really.

Sonia: Yeah, a job could never be this much fun.

Sonia looked over at me and smirked.

Sonia: After that race with Metal, I'm in the racing mood!

Sonia started to Boost, getting ahead of me and Tails. I smiled as I looked over at Tails.

(Y/N): Sorry Tails, but I'm not going to let Sonia get that far ahead of me.

I started to make my shoes go as fast as they could, leaving Tails behind. I saw her waving at me before looking ahead. I saw Sonia looking back at me and stuck her tongue out at me. I looked around and noticed a white Wisp flying near me.

(Y/N): Hey buddy, think you can give me a little boost?

I pointed down at my shoes. It nodded its head and went into my shoes. The flames coming from the back of my shoes turned rainbow, making me way faster and actually getting closer to Sonia. I started to move side by side with Sonia.

Sonia: Isn't that a little cheating?

(Y/N): Don't like the competition-

I was interrupted by the Wisp exiting my shoes, immediately making me go a bit slower and making Sonia get farther ahead. Sonia started to slow down until we are moving side by side again.

Sonia: Short but sweet.

Me and Sonia slowed down as we saw a huge structure with purple electricity coming from the top.

Sonia: Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.

(Y/N): I think this is some kind of generator.

Sonia: So we smash it?

(Y/N): I think?

We felt the ground start to shake, making us look over and see a huge flying pirate ship with a bunch of sweets covering it. Sonia looked over at me.

Sonia: Experience has also taught me that the best way to solve problems is to kick robot butt.

A speaker system turned on and an announcement from Eggman started to play.

Eggman: Visitors are cautioned to avoid feeding, petting, or saving any aliens.

Me and Sonia shook our heads. We saw that the ship shot a cannon ball from one of its cannons at us, making me and Sonia jump away from the ball.

Sonia: Alright, let's dance!

Me and Sonia jumped up to get onto the ship. A bunch of cannons on board started to fire at us, making us start to dodge. Sonia started to jump off of the balls and even destroy them. I managed to kick one of the cannon balls, destroying it and letting out an orange colored Wisp out of it.

(Y/N): Oh, hey there little guy.

It went into my shoes and my shoes started to glow orange. I got confused until I felt my feet leave the ground. I started to go up into the air really fast.

Sonia: Huh?

I looked down and noticed that Sonia is looking up at me.

Sonia: (Y/N)!

Soon the orange Wisp left my shoes, making me start to fall. All of the cannons started to fire at me. I used my shoes to help me maneuver through the air to not get hit. I managed to land back onto the ship without getting hit once. Sonia ran up to me.

Sonia: Nice work up there.

I rubbed the back of my head and gave her a thumbs up. I looked up and noticed all of the cannons balls that were fired at me are coming back down.

(Y/N): Take cover!

The cannon balls all crashed down into the ship, making it crash down into the ground. Me and Sonia got knocked off the ship, but so did a robot dressed up as a captain.

Sonia: So you're the captain huh? Time to walk the plank.

(Y/N): We're already off the ship though.

Sonia held her hand out and a yellow Wisp flew over and entered her body. She turned into a yellow drill and went into the ground.

(Y/N): I bet Knuckles would be jealous if he saw that.

The robot captain jumped over at me. I got ready to block any attack. The robot got right in front of me and was about to hit me, but the ground underneath it started to crumble. Sonia, still as the drill, came up from the ground. She went straight through the captain robot, making it blow up. The yellow Wisp left Sonia's body and she landed on the ground next to me. We looked over at the crashed ship.

Sonia: Now it's a shipwreck adventure ride.

(Y/N): Now that one was good.
