(Readers POV)

Everyone stood still for a moment to catch a break from the sudden rocket ride Sonia brought everyone along with.

Sonia: So... That was exciting.

(Y/N): Sonia, you need to learn how to swim.

Sonia: Even if I did, you'd rather swim to here instead of the fun way?

(Y/N): Swimming doesn't involve riding a rocket that explodes.

Sonia: And swimming doesn't involve fun either.

Silver: It definitely was a unique way to travel.

Sonia: Glad to hear that Silver agrees with me.

Silver: But I didn't say that?

Sonia smiled at me as I let out a sigh.

(Y/N): After this, I'm giving you swimming lessons.

Sonia just waved at me, dismissing what I said. I felt a bead of sweat leave my forehead. Sonia started to run forward, making everyone else start running to keep up with her.

Silver: So we have 5 Chaos Emeralds, right?

Tails: Yes, which means we only need 2 left.

Silver: I noticed that each Chaos Emerald we find is a different color.

Sonia: Yeah, the 2 left are purple and light blue in color.

(Y/N): Isn't the other one cyan?

Sonia: Let's not start this conversation.

We all looked ahead and saw Cream standing there. Sonia used her Boost to get to Cream faster and stopped in front of her.

Sonia: Ah-ha! There you are, Cream!

Cream: Oh! Hello Miss Sonia!

Me, Tails, and Silver caught up and stopped when we got next to Cream.

Cream: Hello Mister (Y/N) and Tails!

Everyone looked nearby and saw that purpled haired cat girl nearby. Cream's mother did say that she is going to be with her. She looked over and locked eyes with me and she got this angry look to her face. She started to walk towards me, making me put my hands up.

Blaze: You again!

(Y/N): Listen! I'm really sorry about what happened earlier! It was an honest mistake!

Cream: Miss Blaze, you know Mister (Y/N)?

The cat girl, know known as Blaze, tried to slap me again. I tried plead my innocence, but it didn't do much as I felt the sting of the slap connecting with my face. The force launched me down to the ground.

Sonia: Hey! What's the big idea?!

Blaze: I hope he wasn't bothering any of you ladies.

Silver: Huh? He's wasn't bothering anyone. He's helping me trying to stop Eggman Nega!

Blaze seemed to stop and think for a moment after Silver mentioned Eggman Nega.

Blaze: It's none of your business. This is my responsibility, so I'll deal with it.

Sonia: It's now really my business when you try to attack my boyfriend!

Tails: And we couldn't help but noticed that you appeared when the tear in the space-time continuum did! Does it involve you?!

Blaze: Um...

Sonia: So, there is a correlation.

Blaze: I said this is my problem. Don't bother me!

Blaze quickly ran off afterwards. Cream turned to look at Blaze.

Cream: Oh! Hey Miss Blaze! Wait!

She started to run after Blaze and turned to look back at us and waved.

Cream: I'll see you all later! Sorry I couldn't introduce myself!

She said that last part to Silver. Silver waved her bye back. Sonia ran over to me and helped me up on my feet as I rubbed the cheek that Blaze slapped.

(Y/N): I said I was sorry...

Sonia: Now everything is starting to get more fishy around here.

Tails: We should follow Blaze!

Before we all left, Sonia pointed at me.

Sonia: Seriously, what did you do to her to make her so upset at you?

I took a step back as I let out a nervous laugh.

(Y/N): I-It was nothing! I promise!

Silver: It definitely is something to Blaze.

Tails: Now I'm curious what happened too.

(Y/N): C-Can we just leave this topic?!

Sonia: We could, but I'm not going to keep bothering you until you cough it up. If it's something that she'll slap you over, it's my problem too.

I took a glance at Silver and Tails before looking back at Sonia.

(Y/N): Fine, but only you'll get to hear it.

Sonia: Deal.

Tails and Silver: Ah man...

Me and Sonia walked away a bit from Tails and Silver. I leaned into Sonia and started to whisper into her ear about what happened. After I finished, Sonia looked at me.

Sonia: You promise what happened was an accident?

I nodded my head at her. She stared at me for a moment, making me a bit anxious. Sonia gave me a small smile and started to hug me.

Sonia: Alright.

(Y/N): Y-You aren't mad at me?

Sonia: Why would I be mad at an accident?

I felt a lot of relief. I was worried Sonia was going to be angry at me, but she's really understanding.

(Y/N): Thanks for understanding, Sonia.

Sonia: It's no big deal. And if you are having those kind of feelings... We could experiment and stuff.

I felt my face heat up at what Sonia was suggesting.

(Y/N): L-Let's focus on stopping all of this first before we talk about that stuff!

Sonia patted me on the shoulder and nodded her head. She looked around for a moment before looking upward. Sonia pointed up, making everyone else look up.

Sonia: I think I know where to go next.

I saw an Eggman shaped space station high up into the sky.

(Y/N): Why am I not surprised at this point?

Silver: Is that an entire space station?

Tails: With Eggman, you get used to those.

Sonia: We can stop Eggman and Eggman Nega and hopefully figure out what Blaze is all about.

(Y/N): Yeah... Sonia?

Sonia: Yeah? What is it?

(Y/N): Just how are we going to get up there?

Sonia stood there for a moment. She turned to look at Tails.

Sonia: Tails, just call over the Tornado.

Tails: I would like to, but I was busy refueling it before we went on this adventure. It doesn't have enough fuel to get us up there.

Silver: And I would pass out trying to use telekinesis to get us up to it.

Sonia: Well that's just great...

I thought about what to do and a lightbulb, figuratively, went off above my head.

(Y/N): I got it! I know how we will get up there!

Sonia: Really? How is that?

(Time Skip, Brought By The Four Walking On A Map Selection Screen On A Series Of Blue Dots To Get To Eggman's Space Station)

Me, Sonia, Silver, and Tails all managed to make it into the Eggman face shaped space station.

Sonia: Woah, I can't believe that actually worked.

(Y/N): What can I say? A rare stroke of genius from me.

Sonia: Don't say that. You're starting to sound like Eggman...

Silver: Wait, how did we do that exactly?

(Y/N): A magician never reveals his tricks.

I said with a smirk on his face. I saw Tails lean over to Silver.

Tails: Just ignore it. It's better if you don't think about it.

Sonia smirked to herself and started to run ahead, making me, Silver, and Tails to quickly start running towards her.

Sonia: Let's do it!

As we ran through the space station, the gravity suddenly inverted, making us all running along the ceiling.

(Y/N): Ah! That wasn't expected!

Silver: I feel so light on my feet!

I saw Silver start to float with her telekinesis and flying forward in a straight line, despite the change in gravity.

Silver: I'll try to find Eggman Nega and stop him!

Sonia: Then let's race and see who can find him first!

Me, Sonia, and Tails all ran around a curve and we are suddenly back up right, like gravity changed around us seamlessly.

(Y/N): You know, using my shoes in this kind of environment is a lot trickier than expected!

Sonia: Don't try to focus on the switching of gravity! Just go with the flow!

Sonia always goes with the flow. As we ran ahead, Sonia grabbed onto a metal pole and started to spin around it really fast using her Boost, going up on it. She landed on the ceiling that the pole is connected on and started to run on the ceiling. Me and Tails stopped.

(Y/N): I don't think we are going to be able to do that same trick.

Tails: Then let's improvise!

Tails looked around and pointed forward. I saw that she's pointing at a rocket. Sighing, I walked over to the rocket and me and Tails grabbed onto it. It started to send us flying forward, even going through some nearby Eggman robots and destroying them in the process.

(Y/N): I'm never getting on a rocket ever again after this!

(Sonia's POV)

I looked ahead and noticed a chain wall coming up ahead with no flooring next to it. I quickly jumped up and grabbed onto the wall, running across it and made it to the end. I jumped again and landed on some solid ground. I rolled into a ball to keep my speed, destroying the legs of some robots doing so. I uncurled and started to Boost again, dashing through robots easily and destroying them.

Sonia: Ah yeah! Now this is what I'm talking about!

I ran ahead and saw a spring coming up. I hit the spring, making it launch me upward towards another spring. I landed on the spring as it sent me up the other direction. I started to do some poses and tricks while I was in the air. I looked around while I was in the air and noticed Eggman Nega flying through the station in his pod.

Sonia: Guys! I found Eggman Nega!

I looked back and noticed that (Y/N) and Tails aren't with me anymore.

Sonia: Oh...

I landed on a platform and quickly looked around, trying to find Silver, Tails, and (Y/N) so I can tell them that I found Eggman Nega. I heard several muffled crashing noises behind me. I looked back at a wall behind me and saw a rocket crash through it. I jumped up and landed on the rocket and saw that (Y/N) and Tails are on the rocket. I smiled as I looked at (Y/N).

Sonia: You do like the fun way!

(Y/N): For the record, not my idea!

Sonia: I found Eggman Nega! Let's get after him!

Tails: Great job, Sonia!

I grabbed onto their arms and jumped off the rocket, taking Tails and (Y/N) with me. I started to Boost to be able to catch up with the evil double of Eggman before he can get away again. I saw a cannon up ahead and saw an opening at the bottom of it. I ran into it and used my Boost to gain a lot of speed and ran out of the cannon, making me, (Y/N), and Tails go high up into the air. I managed to land on Eggman Nega's pod, getting his attention. The 3 of us jumped off the pod and landed on a nearby platform.

Sonia: Heya mister negative. Didja miss us?

Eggman Nega: So it's you 3 again...

I saw him reach to press a button in his pod, but a light blue aura surrounded the pod. I looked over and saw Silver caught up and is using her telekinesis to keep him in place.

Silver: Now I have you where I want you!

Sonia: We won't let you get away this time, Eggman Nega!

Eggman Nega: Ha ha ha. I don't have time to chat with you right now...

Blaze: But come to think of it, I can just take your time.

I looked over and saw that Blaze jumped onto the platform.

Sonia: Blaze?

Blaze: Long time no see, Eggman Nega!

Eggman Nega: Oh Blaze, my dear. I didn't expect to see you in this world.

Silver: Wait, you two know each other?!

Eggman Nega: It seems Eggman has made a mistake.

Blaze: ...So you guided Eggman to our world.

Eggman Nega: Ha ha ha. It's best to get someone else to do the dirty work. I've been waiting for him to return with the gems. I couldn't care less what happens to our world.

Now I'm a bit confused. Silver knows Eggman Nega and said they are both from the future, but Blaze knows him too and they are from a different world.

Silver: What do you mean by that? You're from the future, like me!

Eggman Nega: Well if you must know, after destroying your future, I fled to another dimension to not have to worry about you again!

So that's how both Silver and Blaze know him. I saw Silver start to shake and Blaze quietly thinking to herself.

Silver: Y-You are a monster. First destroying my world, then trying to do so again to another!

Silver and Blaze: I'll destroy you!

Sonia: Man, are you two gonna hog all the fun?

Blaze: He's my opponent, go away!

Silver: I can't! This man is responsible for the future being in ruin!

Sonia: And I have a few things I owe him as well.

(Y/N): Wow Eggman Nega, you really made a lot of enemies.

Blaze looked over at me and took a step forward as some flames came from her body.

Blaze: I said I would resolve this on my own! I must protect my world! And I don't need anyone's help!

Sonia. Hey, chill for a second. You're way too tense.

Blaze looked over at Silver.

Blaze: Let him go! I don't need your assistance!

Silver: A-Are you crazy?! We have this monster right where we want him!

Blaze: If you won't leave...

I saw Blaze turn to look at me. Is she actually going to fight me?

Eggman Nega: Ha ha ha... This world is so entertaining. I think I'm going to like it here.

(Y/N): Sonia... I think we need to deescalate this situation.

Sonia: Agreed, but it won't be with words. Don't worry... I'll get one in for you.
