(Sonia's POV)

Me and (Y/N) are running down a hallway that seems to never end. I kicked some robots that were in the way. I saw (Y/N) get down on the ground and started to charge up a Spindash. He went forward at high speed. I quickly ran behind him and kicked him, making him go even faster. He went through a large group of robots, causing them to explode. (Y/N) uncurled from his ball and started to run really fast, stumbling around from the speed. I dashed over and grabbed his arm, helping him slow down.

(Y/N): Woah, I'm definitely not used to that level of speed!

Sonia: Figured I could give ya some assistance. Nice form on your Spindash by the way.

(Y/N): Th-Thanks! I've been practicing.

Me and (Y/N) continued to run down the hallway. After some running, the hallway is still continuing. We stopped as I tried to figure out what is happening. I turned around and got ready to run.

Sonia: Wait right there, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Got it.

I started to run down the hallway in the opposite direction. After some running, I noticed (Y/N) ahead of me. He turned around and saw me coming. I stopped when I got in front of me.

Sonia: Okay, that was weird.

(Y/N): Did you get warped or something?

Sonia: I'm starting to think that's what's going on here.

But how can me and (Y/N) get out of this never ending hallway? Man, if Tails was with us, she could easily figure out a solution. And I'm sure if Knuckles was with us, he would just destroy the hallway.

(Y/N): Hmm... If it's warping us, maybe we can try to move so fast it can't?

I thought about (Y/N)'s idea for a moment.

Sonia: Alright, let's try it!

I grabbed onto (Y/N) as I got ready to put in some effort with my running.

Sonia: Make sure to hold on tight!

I started to run forward really fast. I felt (Y/N)'s grip on me get tighter. I continued to gain speed as I ran down the hallway. As I continued to run faster and faster, I noticed an open door at the end of the hallway. It looked like the end started to extend away from me. I smirked as I started to get closer. Me and (Y/N) made it through the open door. I tried to stop myself as quick as possible, but me and (Y/N) crashed into a wall.

(Y/N) and Sonia: Oof!

We both fell down to the ground. After a few moments of silence, I started to laugh to myself as I got up.

Sonia: Phew! It's been awhile since I had to go that fast!

(Y/N): I'm still a bit disoriented from going that fast.

I grabbed onto his hand and helped him back up to his feet.

(Y/N): I hope the others don't encounter that hallway.

Sonia: They're probably already past it by now. Even if they got into that weird hallway, Tails would definitely figure out another way through it, or Knuckles would just break the walls down.

Me and (Y/N) started to continue running, trying to find out where Metal Sonia disguised as Eggman went.

Sonia: It doesn't matter now what happens, I will never give up the fight.~ There is no way I will run away from all of my frights.~

(Y/N): Are... Are you singing?

Sonia: Hmm? Yeah, I sometimes sing to myself when I'm running by myself.

(Y/N): Well... I think it sounded good!

Sonia: You're just saying that to flatter me, aren't you?

His face started to heat up.

(Y/N): Not at all! I think it really is good!

Sonia: If you say so. How about I give you a personal concert when all of this is done?

(Y/N): R-Really?

Sonia: Sure, why not? But when it's over, don't start begging to hear more.

(Y/N): Alright.

I saw his wolf tail wagging back and forth. I smirked as I looked ahead. I noticed everyone else up ahead.

Sonia: Hey guys!

I shouted. Everyone else looked over to see me and (Y/N) running up to each other. We stopped in front of them.

Tails: Hey Sonia! Hey (Y/N)!

Sonia: I hope we aren't too late to the party.

I looked around and saw "Eggman" flying around in his pod. I grabbed a small rock and started to Spindash in place. I threw the rock really fast, hitting the flying pod.

"Eggman": Hmm?! You all?! Your team definitely got bigger the last time I saw you.

Sonia: Just shut your mouth, you faker! This is seriously a new low for you! First copying me, now Eggman?

"Eggman" scoffed and turned into some kind of metal liquid and took a different shape. It morphed into Metal Sonia. She definitely has gotten a little make over the last time I fought her.

Neo Metal: Well, I wasn't planning on showing myself this soon, but it is no issue.

I saw her looking down at (Y/N). I saw that he took a step back.

Neo Metal: You still showed up, (Y/N)? Even with 6 people here, are you still afraid that I'll put you in the ground?

Knuckles: Let's see you put your money where you mouth is!

Big: Yeah! It's not nice to hurt someone!

Cream: So that's the mean robot that is behind all of this.

Amy: You have Chocola and Froggy, don't you?!

Neo Metal: And what if I do?

Tails: You better return them!

She scoffed and I saw her reach into the pod and pulled out Froggy and Chocola.

Neo Metal: Take them back, I have no need for them anymore. Chaos's data has already been copied from them.

She tossed Froggy and Chocola down. I ran over and quickly caught them. Wait, Chaos's data? Why does she need all this data on people? Did she manage to copy Shadow's data too?

Neo Metal: It's already too late for you all. My plans will go flawlessly.

She jumped out of the flying pod and kicked it down at us. Knuckles ran forward and punched the pod, destroying it. I saw Metal Sonia flying away, towards the massive air fleet that is in the sky.

Sonia: How are we going to get up to her?

I heard some footsteps. I looked over and saw a group of 3. A crocodile guy, a chameleon guy, and a bee boy. The croc is holding a a walkie talkie.

Espio: Strange. That Eggman morphed into a robot.

Vector: Was that the target?

???: Yes! That's it! You need to take her down!

Vector: That's going to cost you extra.

The group looked over and saw everyone staring at us.

Sonia: So you looking to take her down too?

Charmy: Yeah! Our client wants us to!

Espio: Charmy, you really need to work on leaking client intel.

Charmy: My bad.

Sonia: Wanna tag along? Could make it easier for you guys.

Vector: Hmm... Sure. Just don't tell our client so we get paid for it. We can really use the money.

I gave them a thumbs up. It's nice to have an extra pairs of hands helping out. Metal Sonia definitely isn't messing around with how much she has prepared this.

Charmy: Hey! The wolf boy is still with them!

(Y/N): Gee, thanks for noticing.

Charmy: We saw you confess to the hedgehog girl!

I saw (Y/N) face heat up after he said that and started to get mad.

Espio: I don't think you should've mentioned that.

(Y/N): You think?!

Amy: You told her?! That's exciting to hear! Did you say yes Sonia?!

Sonia: It's a bit complicated.

Amy: What do you mean by complicated?! It's a yes or no! You better not be playing with his heart!

Tails: I figured it was just a random person that was in love with Sonia.

Knuckles: Why would he go so low?

I glared at Knuckles, making him start to sweat and look the other way. He began to whistle, trying to act casual.

(Y/N): C-Can we just focus on what's important right now?!

Sonia: Right, stopping my robotic double.

I saw Tails reach into her pocket and pulled out a small button. She pushed it and a little bit later, everyone could hear the sound of an engine. We all looked over and saw the Tornado 2 flying towards us.

Tails: We can use the Tornado 2 to get to Metal Sonia! It's going to be a crowded ride though.

The Tornado 2 landed nearby as everyone started to get on. I looked over at (Y/N), seeing him staying still.

Sonia: Hey, you alright?

(Y/N): Um...

Sonia: It's Metal Sonia, ain't it?

He just nodded at me. I grabbed onto his hand.

Sonia: There isn't a need to worry, we're here with ya.

I pointed back at everyone. I can see (Y/N)'s eyes light up a bit before nodded his head.

(Y/N): R-Right. I really need to snap outta it.

Sonia: That's the spirit! Now let's get outta here!

Me and (Y/N) both jumped on the Tornado 2.

Tails: Everyone hang on! It's going to be a fast ride!

Tails started ti make the Tornado 2 move forward and it quickly gained speed and flew up into the air.

(Time Skip)

I waited to catch up to the air fleet, I took the time to learn the names of the Team Chaotix. I looked ahead and saw that the Tornado 2 is catching up to Metal Sonia's air fleet. I looked back at everyone.

Sonia: You all ready to do this?!

Everyone nodded their heads. I saw Vector pull out his walkie talkie.

Vector: You better be ready to pay up! Because his is about to end!

???: Thank goodness!

Sonia: Who is that?

???: Hmm?! Is that Sonia the Hedgehog?!

Sonia: You know me or something?

???: Ahem! Never mind! Just make sure to get this done!

The walkie talkie turned off. Tails flew the Tornado 2 by the nearest airship. Everyone jumped off of the Tornado 2 and landed on the airship. A voice started to play through a loud speaker system.

Neo Metal: Try all you want, you cannot stand up against me or this air fleet. It's unmatched throughout the universe.

I couldn't help but smirk,

Sonia: Do you really think that's going to stop us?!

I started to run ahead, with everyone else following behind me. I saw Espio run ahead and jumped up into the air and went invisible. I saw a bunch of robots coming after us, but they got destroyed and Espio reappeared.

Espio: Strike from the shadows. It's the place they least expect.

We all ran ahead and ran off the edge of the airship and started to sky dive to another airship. Everyone landed on it as a giant robot wielding a huge hammer appeared and is rushing at us. Knuckles, Big, and Vector ran forward at the robot. The robot swung its hammer down, making Knuckles catch it with his hands. Vector punched the legs of the robot, making it stumble down on the ground. Big jumped up and slammed his body on the fallen robot, destroying it.

Knuckles: Hey! Looks like you can carry your own weight!

Vector: I have to do what's necessary to pay rent!

Everyone started to run ahead, destroying any robot that got in our way. I noticed Charmy pointing ahead.

Charmy: There's a scary looking robot up ahead.

I looked ahead and saw Shadow, Rouge, and their robot friend up ahead.

Rouge: Oh my, a date with Eggman really is to die for seeing how many of you are here.

Cream: A date with Eggman? Who would want to date him?

Amy: I know, right?

The robot turned to look at Charmy.

Omega: I am not just a scary robot. I am E-123 Omega.

(Y/N): Yeah, he wants to really take down Eggman.

Sonia: Well sorry to say big guy, but you ain't finding Eggman here.

Shadow: This is his air fleet.

Tails: No, it's actually Metal Sonia!

Rouge: Metal Sonia?

Sonia: Long story short, she's responsible for all of this. We've been after her for this conquer the world plan.

Omega: An Eggman robot is stopping me from getting to Eggman? It shall be destroyed.

(Y/N): You 3 want to join us? We could really use your help.

Shadow: I am enough for some robot.

(Y/N): Trust me, I've seen what she's capable of. She's been copying data from everyone and she might have already copied yours.

Shadow: ...

Rouge: It really would be a big problem for me to get Eggman's secret treasure if some robot takes over the world. Any objections?

Omega: Negative.

Rouge: It's all of yours lucky day. We are joining to work with you guys. Temporary, of course.

Sonia: Glad to have you 3 on the team. Now let's get going, or I'll get there first and hog all the fun!

I started to run ahead. I saw everyone else running behind me. Shadow ran up and started to run right by me.

Sonia: Able to keep up?

Shadow: Like I'll fall behind you.
