(Readers POV)

Me, Sonia, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are all standing on a stone area, looking at a pyramid that's nearby.

Sonia: Inside that pyramid?

Knuckles: I saw Eggman go inside the pyramid and more importantly, I saw that bat girl go inside with him as well.

(Y/N): I can't believe Eggman got two whole people to work by his side.

Sonia: We should be able to get into outer space from there! I don't know what this space colony is all about but I'll find and destroy that cannon... And then kick their emperial butts!

Knuckles: All right!

Tails in her mech started to walk forward, heading towards the pyramid.

Tails: Let's hurry up and find the entrance.

Everyone else nodded as we all started to head towards the pyramid. I felt myself start to sweat a bit from the heat. I hope Eggman has some ac in his base. We quickly got to the bottom of the pyramid, but there isn't a door at the bottom.

(Y/N): Man, why can't the entrance be at the convenient spot?

I looked around and saw a bunch of robot orange monkeys on the side of the pyramid.

(Y/N): Hey guys look, some cute monkey robots.

I saw one of them pick up something and threw it at me. It was a black ball. Amy took out her giant hammer and swung the ball back at the monkey. The ball hit the monkey, causing a huge explosion.

(Y/N): They throw bombs?! They aren't cute anymore!

Sonia: Really? I thought the bomb throwing added to the cuteness!

Sonia started to run up the side of the pyramid and dashed through the monkey bots. Knuckles and Amy jumped up to destroy some of Eggman's robots. I looked over at Tails and saw her pouting at me.

(Y/N): What's wrong?

Tails: I used to throw bombs all the time back then.

(Y/N): O-Oh! Th-Then you're the exception to the rule!

Tails: I figured you'd say that!

Tails gave me a smile before starting to shoot at some robots with her mech. Her mech jumped up onto the pyramid and started to go up it. I let out a sigh. I definitely don't want to be on Tails's bad side, especially if I'm staying at her place.

(Y/N): I should get going. Don't want to be left behind.

I felt something tap me on the back. I looked back and saw a robot monkey standing behind me. It pulled out a bomb and threw it at me. The bomb hit my back, causing it to explode. I let out a yell of pain as the explosion of the bomb sent my forward. I started to roll into a ball, rolling up the pyramid at high speeds.

(Sonia's POV)

Me, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are all standing in front of a metal door with Eggman's face on it.

Amy: Looks like we found the entrance.

I walked up to the door and knocked on it. It definitely is quite sturdy.

Sonia: Welp, it's not budging.

Tails: Knuckles, this is a job for you.

Knuckles smirked and cracked his knuckles as he started to walk towards the door. I should find (Y/N) before heading inside the base. Don't want to leave him behind. I started to hear something from above. I looked up and saw something falling down from the sky. I squinted my eyes to get a better look at whatever was falling down towards us. I saw that it was (Y/N) curled up in a ball.

Sonia: Everyone, get ready for a sudden drop.

Knuckles: What is that supposed to mean?

Knuckles looked back at me confused. (Y/N) crashed into his body, making the two crash into the metal door with a loud thud. A bunch of dust came up from their impact. The dust faded away, showing (Y/N) and Knuckles on the ground with stars swirling around their heads and the door was knocked down.

Tails: That was... Unexpected.

Sonia: At least the door is open. Cmon guys!

I ran into Eggman's base. I started to run down the large hallway, grabbing some rings that are on the path. I looked ahead and saw a huge gap coming up. I ran to the edge of the floor and jumped, going across the gap and landing on some flooring on the other side. I continued to run and saw an hourglass next to a stone door. I kicked the bottom of the hourglass, making it flip over and causing the door the open up, but it started to slowly close again. I quickly ran pst the door before it closed.

Sonia: So a time trial, eh? And I thought this was going to be boring!

I kept running and found a red pole on the side of a wall. I jumped up to it and grabbed onto it. I kicked forward and started to swing myself around the pole. I let go, making me go high into the air and soon landed next to a sealed down. I saw a glowing piece and picked it up. I saw a glowing platform behind me. In the middle of the platform is a slot that looks like is meant for the glowing piece. I put the piece in the slot and the door opened up.

Sonia: Of course Eggman puts in something that takes forever...

I was about to run past the door, but I heard footsteps behind me. I looked back and saw (Y/N) running towards me.

(Y/N): Hey Sonia!

Sonia: Hey (Y/N). Where's the rest of the party?

(Y/N): Oh, Knuckles split off from Tails and Amy and I split off from them.

Sonia: You wanted to follow me or something?

His cheeks went pink when I asked that.

(Y/N): N-No! I just figured I would check up on ya while I was on the way.

Sonia: Thanks for the concern, but I can handle myself fine.

I ran through the doorway and (Y/N) started to run behind me. I looked ahead and saw some creepy looking small white ghosts. They started to bounce towards me. I jumped up to dodge the ghosts, making them bounce towards (Y/N).

(Y/N): What are these things?!

The ghosts wrapped their arms around (Y/N), trapping him in place. I quickly went down and kicked the ghosts, managing to make them let go of (Y/N).

Sonia: Make sure not to get caught by those things.

(Y/N): Noted!

We ran through another doorway and went into a long hallway. I saw an hourglass in front of us, but not a door. It must be at the very end of this long hallway.

Sonia: You ready to go fast?

(Y/N): Yeah, but definitely not as ready as you.

I hit the hourglass, making it go upside down as the sand started to fall down. Me and (Y/N) started to run down the hallway as more of those little ghost guys came down from the ceiling. Me and (Y/N) ran fast enough to get past the ghosts before they could even touch us. I looked ahead and saw the door up ahead and that it was getting close to closing.

(Y/N): I don't think we're going to make it!

I looked behind me and saw all the ghosts are chasing us. If that door closes before me and (Y/N) get through it, we are in trouble. I reached over and grabbed onto (Y/N)'s arm.

Sonia: Yes we are!

I threw my arm forward, sending (Y/N) forward at a higher speed. He started to roll into a ball and managed to get past the door. I looked back at the ghosts and stuck my tongue out at them. I looked back ahead and saw the door was getting really close to closing. I started to slide down on the ground and got past the door as it closed the second later. I got up and threw my arms up.

Sonia: Wow! I just love cutting it close!

I immediately started to run again without looking where I was going. I bumped into something, causing me and the something to fall down. I looked and the something is actually (Y/N). He let out a small groan.

Sonia: Oops. Sorry about that.

(Y/N): You're fine. Thanks goodness we made it past all those ghosts. They didn't stand a "ghost" of a chance.

I let out a small giggle from (Y/N)'s cheesy joke.

Sonia: That was a bad one.

(Y/N): Cmon, you totally would've made that joke if I didn't say it.

Sonia: Maybe. Maybe not.

Me and (Y/N) shared a quick laugh together. Our laughter died down and went into silence. I noticed that I've been laying on top of (Y/N) this entire time. We both stared at each other's eyes for a brief moment until both of our faces started to heat up. I quickly got off of (Y/N) and we both stood up.

Sonia: Let's get going. Don't want to keep the other's waiting if they got ahead of us.

(Y/N): Y-Yeah, I was thinking that too.

Me and (Y/N) started to run forward and we eventually found a large door with Eggman's face on it. I tried to open it, but I couldn't. It's definitely locked. I heard some footsteps near me. Looking over, I saw Tails, Knuckles, and Amy all coming towards me and (Y/N). I gave them a quick wave. Tails looked at the door.

Tails: Looks like we're heading toward the center of the base.

I put my hands on my hips.

Sonia: That egghead sure loves mechanical things, doesn't he? I bet he has one or two spaceships lying around here somewhere.

Tails went up to the door.

Tails: Looks like we are going to need three keys to open this door.

Sonia: No problem, Knuckles can find them, ain't that right Knuckles?

I looked over at Knuckles, who took a small step back in shock.

Knuckles: What? Why do I have to find the keys?

Sonia: We're counting on you, buddy! The world's greatest treasure hunter!

Knuckles let out a sigh and jumped up into the air. He started to glide forward, going to search for the three keys needs to open this door.

(Y/N): So... What do we do while we wait?

(About 3 and a half minutes later)

I looked around and saw Knuckles gliding back over at us. He landed on the ground and showed everyone that he found the three keys. Of course the keys have Eggman's face on them too.

Amy: Good job Knuckles!

Knuckles: I just want to be out of this place. Finding these keys wasn't fun.

Knuckles put the keys into the door and it opened up. Everyone walked into the next room. It was a very large room with a huge round hole in the middle, showing that the bottom of the room is filled with sand.

(Y/N): This is a weird room. Why would Eggman need a room like this?

After (Y/N) said that, I started to hear a familiar voice.

Eggman: You little thieves! Did you really think you could get out of here alive?

Everyone turned around and saw a door open, revealing Eggman inside a mech. He waved at us. I started to smirk. Looks like I won't have to go to space to teach Eggman his lesson.

Sonia: Come and get some, Eggman!

Tails: Sonia!

Sonia: Just leave it to me!

I saw everyone else leave the room, going on ahead. Eggman pointed at me.

Eggman: This time, I'll take your lives as well as the Chaos Emerald. I call on you to destroy these pests. Come out my servant!

I saw a giant hand made out of rock come out of the huge hole in the middle of the room.

Sonia: Woah!

The hand pushed down on the floor, pushing an entire body up.

That is one huge golem. At least Eggman is keeping to the theme of this place.

Eggman: Now go and squash that blue hedgehog, Sonia!

The golem raised its hand up and tried to hit me with it. I noticed a device on the top of its head. That must be the weak point. I dodged its hand and jumped up into the air, going towards the golem's head.

Sonia: Teriaaaa!

I got close to the device on the top of its head and kicked it as hard as I can, destroying it. I landed back on the ground and saw the golem leaning down.

Sonia: Take care rocky!

I quickly ran out of the room. I ran into a room that has a giant rocket ship that's getting ready to launch. I saw the top of the pyramid open up. I ran into the rocket and soon after, feel the rocket take off. After a short bit, I looked out a window and saw that the rocket enter space. I walked into the pilot area and saw (Y/N), Knuckles, and Amy sitting in their seats and Tails at the controls panel.

Knuckles: You made it.

Sonia: Sure did.

Tails: We are heading for the space colony. We should arrive soon.

I walked over to a free seat and sat down on it. I looked over and saw (Y/N) staring out into space.

(Y/N): Oooohhhh... Space is so cool... So many shiny stars...

I leaned back in my seat and put my arms behind my head, relaxing and enjoying the trip.
