Green Hills, Montana
Ten years later

*Third pov*

A police cruiser is shown parked behind a 'Welcome To Green Hills'  sign. Inside the cruiser sits a police officer monitoring the speed of the cars that weren't actually there.

"Come on, one car?" The officer complained, getting irritated over the fact that not a single car passed by.

He then started to pretend that cars were passing by, only to end up with him hitting himself in the face with the with the radar. "I'm bored!" He complained. "Tom. Do you read me? Are you there?" Asked a male voice through the radio. "No, Wade. I'm actually on a yhat in Barbados. With Rihanna." Tom responded through the radio sarcastically.

"OMG. That's amazing! Please send pics!" Wade answered with excitement. "No, Wade. I'm at the speed trap." Tom answered plainly. "Already? How did you get back so fast? Barbados is in the ocean." Wade responded. "Hang on, I think I got something." Tom responded before putting the mic down.

He lifted the radar toward a turtle that was walking 1mph on the road. "Hey, buddy! Where's the fire!? There are kids living around here!" He screamed out at the turtle and ended up laughing. "Ah, that was kinda funny. Sorry." He apologized and took off his sunglasses.

Suddenly, a blue blur passed in front of the cruiser and triggered Tom's radar showing a speed of 296. "What" Tom whispered in confusion. What Tom didn't realise was that a certain blue hedgehog was behind the car looking at the speed.

The blue blur passed by again, but a bit faster. The radar showed a speed of 300. Tom didn't know what the heck was going on, so he decided to get out of the car and see what was going on. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a blue quill on the grass. He picked up the quill and looked at it in confusion. "Tom, we need you down in Main Street. There's been a violent gang shoot out....hahaha! Just kidding. A duck stole a bagel, but they do need it back." Informed an officer through the radio. Tom got in the car and drove back into town.

Meanwhile the turtle was still walking on the road and was about to get run over. At the last second, the same blue blur was able to save the turtle from near death. The blur turned out to be none other tha Sonic himself. "Woah, buddy. Almost got yourself killed out there. What are you? Some kind of adrenaline junky?" Sonic asked while still holding the turtle. "Must be rough being slow all the time. Tell you what. Today is your lucky day." Sonic told the turtle.

Sonic was running down the road with the turtle in his hands. "Woo hoo! Have you ever felt so alive!?" He asked as he spread his arms out like wings with the turtl in his left hand. "This is great! You're  doing amazing!" Sonic praised the turtle, but then the turtle flew out of his hand. "Oh geez!" He panicked as he went back to save the little guy. He returned with the turtle in his hand. "Good recovery!" He said while dusting off the turtle's shell.

After running for a while, Sonic returned to the woods and put a now trembling turtle on the ground. "Let's keep this our little secret, ok? You never saw me. I was never here." He said before running off to his cave.

Once he made it to his cave, he started doing different things. He was singing with a brush as a mic, breakdancing, playing an inflatable guitar, and jump roping.

"So what were you expecting? A dirty little hedgehog eating berries and struggling to survive? Think again. Because I am living my best life on Earth. I've got a library,

Sonic was sitting on a bean bag chair reading comic books about the Flash.

A home gym,

He is using a dryer as a treadmill.

And a state of the art security system."

Sonic shows up wearing a ninja headband while using nunchucks and ends up hitting himself in the face with them. (Ouch! XD) He goes to his ping pong table and starts playing ping pong against himself. But while playing, he accidentally knocks over his bag of rings. "Oh no!" He panics.

He picks up the rings from the floor and puts them back in the bag. He then looks at the map that has different planets that could be safe for him.

"And if I'm ever discovered, I'll follow Longclaw's instructions and use my rings to escape to a new planet.

Sonic tosses one of the rings infront of him and opens a portal to a planet with big, tall, tree-like mushrooms.

A nice, safe little world filled only with mushrooms. Gross, smelly mushrooms."

"I hate mushrooms." He muttered.

"But let's not worry about all that.This is Green Hills. The greatest place on Earth. These are my people, and dare I say, I am their lovable space creature.

Sonic runs around town without anyone noticing. He gets on a building and chills out watching the people go about their day. Until he sees Tom in the middle of the road eating a donut.

So what if they don't know I exist. My favorite person is the Donut Lord. Protector of this town. And defender of all creatures, big and small."

Tom stops traffic in order to let a family of ducks and ducklings cross the road. "'Morning! Donald, Daisy, Daffy." He greeted the ducks.

Donut Lord lives with Pretzel Lady. She is super nice to animals and strangely was born without bones."

Maddie can be seen on the porch do stretches, while Sonic's in the background trying to do the same thing she's doing while complaining about the pain.

"And of course, I can't forget about Kind Fawn. She's Donut Lord and Pretzel Lady's daughter and is a combination of her parents. She's very sweet to animals and protects her friends when they need help.

(Y/N) can be seen in the woods helping a fawn with an injured leg. She wrapped a bandage around the baby deer's leg and helped it stand up. Sonic was hiding behind a bush watching (Y/N) take care of the fawn.

"But sometimes her kindness isn't always appreciated. And that makes me feel bad. Yet, she still smiles and stays optimistic."

After the fawn stood up, the mother walked towards it's baby to help it stand up. The fawn and the mother left, and (Y/N) waved goodbye to them.

"There is one person in town who's actually onto me. He calls me 'The Blue Devil.'

An old man shows a picture he drew of Sonic to Tom and other people. (Did anyone notice it was the Sanic meme. XD) Everyone started laughing at him. "I almost caught him last night. He told Tom.

"Say 'hello' to Crazy Carl."

Carl went towards his traps in order to catch Sonic. Sonic ,however, managed to avoid all of Carl's traps.

"We have fun together."

Carl started running after Sonic, but ended up getting stuck in his own trap. "I know you're out there! And I know you're real!" He screams out to Sonic. "No I'm not!" Sonic screams back.

"Movie night is my favorite!"

At the Wachowski house, Sonic looks through the family room window to see what movie's on. "Please please please please please." He pleaded with his fingers crossed and eyes closed. When he opened his eyes he saw the movie title was 'Speed.'

"Yes! Keanu! You are a national treasure." He said. The movie got to Sonic's favorite scene. "Pop quiz hot shot. That's a classic line." He said to himself and kept on watching the movie.

"Basically, we're like a family. Even though we haven't met yet."

"You don't think your prolonged isolation is making you a bit crazy perhaps?" Sonic's 'psychiatrist' asked. "Crazy? Me? No way, Doc. You got me all wrong." Sonic answers. "And despite all these so-called friends of yours, deep down, you're still rather lonely?" The 'psychiatrist' asked sadly.

Sonic walks away from the Wachowski house a bit, then he turns around and looks through the window, seeing Tom, Maddie, and (Y/N) smiling and laughing. Wishing he could experience what it's like to be a family.

"Perhaps afraid you'll be alone forever?"

Sonic then walks away from the house with his ears down and a frown on his face. He somehow felt like...

He'll never have a family.

'Lands on ground form falling from the sky' I'm so sorry I haven't updated, but since school's out until May 1st, I'm getting more and more work on my laptop and sometimes I don't even know what I'm doing. But I promise I'll keep updating. As always stay cool and stay awesome.
