Sam and Blaine are talking in the library. "I'm telling you, it's been keeping me up at night. Something weird's going on with the Warblers. They're doing all those weird flips and superhuman jumps at Sectionals." Sam says.

Blaine nods. "Exactly, that's why they won."

"And where was Roundfaced Warbler? You said he was there when you went back to Dalton, but come Sectionals, poof, he's gone." Sam says, referring to Trent.

"So, what are you saying?" Blaine asks.

"I think they cheated at Sectionals." Sam assumes.

"Sam, you can't make accusations like that without any kind of evidence." Blaine counters.

"Well, then, I'll find some evidence. Do you have any lip balm I can use?" Sam asks.

Blaine looks confused. "What?"

"Conspiracy theories make my lips get all chapped. Come on dude, it's not weird. We're like brothers." Sam tells Blaine.

Blaine nods. "Yeah, um, sure. Here you go." He says, handing the blonde some lip balm.

Sam nods. "Thank you."

Violet looks at Blaine as he recounts what Tina suggested at the student council meeting:  a Sadie Hawkins dance.

"Let me get this straight:  Tina wants to have a Sadie Hawkins dance? Didn't you go to Dalton because of a Sadie Hawkins?" Violet asks softly.

Blaine nods. "Yes and yes. And Tina got the entire student council to vote for the dance."

"So what are you gonna do?" Violet asks. Since Blaine's almost return to the Warblers, she's been trying to spend more time with him and hang out with him. It makes her feel like a good friend and it helps repair their friendship.

Blaine sighs. "I have no idea. I guess I'm just... nervous about it. I don't want to experience any PTSD, but I don't want to feel like I'm letting my friends down. What do you think I should do?"

"I don't know what to tell you, Blaine. I want you to do what you think is right." Violet answers.

Blaine nods. "Thanks. I really appreciate you listening to my problems." He says honestly.

"That's what friends are for, Blaine. I'm always going to listen to your problems."

Finn smiles as he gathers the New Directions in an empty classroom. "So this week in Glee Club, it's ladies' choice, inspired by the Sadie Hawkins Dance."

"Which I thought of. It was my idea." Tina inputs.

Finn nods. "Yes, thank you, Tina.
And every girl will sing to whoever they want to take to the dance."

Tina smiles. "Well, I, for one, love this lesson. I've got a song I want to sing to somebody."

Finn and the glee club are gathered in the locker room.

"All right, so Tina is ready to present her solo and make her choice. Gentlemen, prepare yourselves for Tina Cohen-Chang." Finn says.

"Whoo! Whoo!" Artie cheers.

"Thank you, Finn. For my song, I'll be performing "I Don't Know How to Love Him" from Jesus Christ Superstar. It's about the pain of unrequited love and..." Tina is cut off by Finn.

"Yeah, okay, just wrap it up. Beiste needs the locker room at 4:30." Finn says.

Tina nods. "Sorry. Hit it."

"Who do you think she's asking?" Blaine asks.

"The only obvious choice in the room. A charming debonair figure from her past. A forbidden love she let slip through her fingers." Artie says.

Tina sings 'I Don't Know How to Love Him' to Blaine.

[I Don't Know How to Love Him by Tina]

Violet doesn't know how to feel about Tina's performance, but she claps anyways. Blaine and Charlie both look uncomfortable.

"Okay, let's hear it for Tina." Finn says.

"Yeah." Brittany cheers.

"So... Blaine, will you go to the dance with me?" Tina asks.

Blaine is taken aback. "Oh, uh... Wow, um, Tina... I don't know what to say. Um... no. Thank you, but no, no, thank you."

Charlie sighs in relief.

Tina looks hurt.

Violet sighs as she walks into the empty science room. The glee club has permission to use the science room for practice today.

Finn turns around to see her downcast. He frowns. "Hey. You okay? You look like your whole life's coming apart."

Violet sits down. "I don't know what I'm feeling. Maybe sadness, maybe anger... I mean, we're having a girl's choice dance, and the one guy I want to go with is in New York."

Finn sighs. "I'm so sorry. I completely forgot. If I'd remembered, I would've shut down the idea completely."

Violet shakes her head. "No, Finn. Don't apologize. I'm just... being a little selfish, okay? I miss Kurt, and I want him to go with me. But I'm not going to ask him to drop everything he's doing right now just to take me to some stupid dance." She says, tears in her eyes.

Finn rubs her shoulder gently. "Violet it's okay to be a little selfish every once in a while in a relationship. I've been there. And you're not alone. I'm sure Kurt misses you too."

"Yeah I know... but I feel like I'm a bad fiancée because I want the man I'm going to marry here with me, dancing with me at some stupid girl's choice dance. I feel really clingy and bitchy." Violet admits.

Finn pulls her into a hug, letting her cry into his shoulder. "No it's okay. I'm here." He says and kisses her head in a brotherly state.

The glee club walks in and they all go quiet seeing the moment between Finn and Violet. Violet looks up to see the glee club staring and pulls away from Finn.

"I um... I need a minute to calm down." She says and walks out of the room.

"What was that about? She looked really upset." Marley states.

Finn sighs. "She is. She's kinda bummed out about the Sadie Hawkins dance because she can't take Kurt, who's in New York. And she feels like she's being selfish and clingy for wanting to take him to the dance. I don't know what to do. I've seen her go through the roughest part of her life, but I have no idea what to do about this."

Charlie looks up. "I think I have an idea."

That night while Violet's asleep, Finn phones Kurt.

"Hey Finn. This is a surprise. You rarely ever call." Kurt says.

Finn sighs. "I know. And I feel bad about it, but I need your help right now. Is Rachel around you right now?" He asks.

"No she's in the shower. What did you need?" Kurt asks his stepbrother.

"Well... the Student Council is hosting McKinley High's first annual Sadie Hawkins dance. The only problem is that Violet doesn't want to go." Finn answers.

"Why not? She should go and have fun." Kurt says.

Finn sighs. "Dude... she doesn't want to go because that would mean going without you."

Kurt sighs. "I feel bad Finn. My fiancée feels all alone, and it's my fault."

"No it's not. It's nobody's fault. She told me she feels clingy and selfish and kinda bitchy because she wants you to go with her. But she's not going to ask you to drop whatever you're doing and take her to the dance. You know her; she's stubborn like that." Finn says.

Kurt lets out a chuckle. "If I know anyone like the back of my hand, it's my fiancée." He says.

Finn nods. "The glee club came up with an idea that I think will go over very well. But only if you're up for it."

Kurt smiles. "What's the plan?"

Violet's sitting in class, watching Brittany and Marley perform 'Tell Him' to Jake and Sam.

[Tell Him by Brittany and Marley]

Violet claps for their performance, but tries hard to contain her feelings of jealousy.

In times like these, she really wishes she had Kurt here.

"Finn, I don't understand. Why are we in the Spanish room?" Violet asks.

Finn smiles. "Because... you're gonna sing to me."

Violet chuckles. "What are you talking about?" She asks.

"I'll take you to the Sadie Hawkins dance, but only if you ask me through song first." Finn says.

Violet gives him a little smile. "Finn you don't have to."

"I know. I want to. You've been miserable the last few days, and I want to be a good friend and a good brother. So... sing to me." Finn encourages.

Violet nods and begins singing the classic Celine Dion song, 'My Heart Will Go On.'

[My Heart Will Go On by Violet]

Finn's up on his feet and clapping for her when she finishes.

"That was really awesome Violet. I can't wait for Sadie Hawkins." Finn says.

Violet smiles. "Neither can I."

In the McKinley gymnasium, Violet and Finn are talking while attending the Sadie Hawkins dance. Finn's dressed in a dark navy blue suit, and Violet is wearing a beautiful dress.

"You look great tonight." Finn compliments.

"Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself." Violet tells him.

They turn their attention to the stage, where Artie, Blaine, Sam, Ryder and Joe are.

"What's up, McKinley?" Artie asks.

The crowd cheers.

"We've got quite the set. We'd like to dedicate this song to all the strong, proud and empowered ladies who stuck their necks out to make this happen. This week, you showed us what it feels like to wait anxiously by the phone that never rings. The horror when all your friends get asked to the dance, and you don't, and you have to sit there..." Artie is cut off.

Blaine interrupts. "All right, cool. Thank you, Artie. This next one's for all the, uh, powerful women out there."

The boys perform TLC's 'No Scrubs.'

[No Scrubs by Artie, Blaine, Sam, Ryder and Joe]

The crowd claps for their performance.

Finn and Violet are dancing together when Blaine and Sam come up to them.

"Sorry to interrupt your dancing, but we need to borrow Finn for a moment." Sam says.

Blaine nods. "It's kinda important."

Finn looks at the two. "Guys I don't want to leave her alone."

"No it's okay Finn. They need you. Go. I'll be fine. I'll just go dance with Unique and Brittany." Violet encourages.

Finn nods and walks off with Blaine and Sam.

Violet can't find Unique or Brittany, so she decides to hang out with Artie and Jake. She sees the reason that she can't find her friends is because they're getting ready to perform onstage.

"Yeah, McKinley! Okay, a friendly reminder:  Uh, don't eat the snowflakes. They're fake. And the glitter sticks to the roof of your mouth." Brittany says.

"All right, ladies, grab your date and get on the dance floor!" Tina says.

"Because the guys were just a warm-up before the real performance:  Us!" Sugar announces.

Brittany, Unique, Sugar, Marley and Tina perform Bruno Mars' 'Locked Out of Heaven.'

[Locked Out of Heaven by Brittany, Unique, Sugar, Marley and Tina]

Violet and the crowd cheer for the girls' performance.

"Those are my girls!"

Finn smiles as he stands onstage. "Hey guys. I'm not performing but I'm going to introduce our next performer. Singing our next slow song, here's Violet Corcoran."

Violet makes her way onstage, shocked that she's going to be performing. The crowd cheers for her, especially the New Directions.

Violet gets onstage and nods to the band. She starts to sing Miley Cyrus's 'Adore You' as a solo.

Halfway through the first verse, she hears another voice join in. She looks around the gym until she sees Kurt Hummel in the gymnasium entrance, holding a microphone. Violet smiles brightly and sings to Kurt.

[Adore You by Vurt]

Violet and Kurt are now in the middle of the gym, face-to-face for the first time in two weeks. The audience applauds for their performance.

Violet wraps her arms around Kurt's neck, bringing him in for a kiss. Kurt kisses back with his arms wrapped around Violet's waist.

Violet pulls away from the kiss with misty eyes. "You're here. But-But how?" She asks.

Kurt smiles. "It was the glee club's idea. I love you so much Violet, and I'm sorry for not coming out much to visit. I feel like I'm making you feel lonely."

"Baby I don't feel lonely. I just... felt kinda selfish because I wanted you to be here." Violet says.

"And that's perfectly fine, because I'm glad I came. You look gorgeous." Kurt says.

Violet blushes. "Thank you. You look handsome."

Kurt chuckles. "You're welcome. Now let's dance and have fun together."
