It's five days until prom.

Sam is sitting on the piano, and Blaine is sitting on the piano chair.

"So how does it work with gay marriage, you take his last name or does he take yours, or...?" Sam asks.

It's been a few days since Blaine proposed to Charlie.

"Right now, I'm honestly just excited that Charlie said yes." Blaine says as his fiancé walks into the choir room.

"Hey, are you looking forward to prom? I fell asleep last night while Tina was texting me about her prom dress." Sam says.

Charlie smiles at Sam. "It's really nice that you're going with her, by the way."

"Yeah, I guess so. I don't know, I just... you know, it's my senior prom, so I kind of wish I was going with somebody I really care about. Damn, I have seriously been unlucky in love." Sam laments.

"Come on, guys, we're back with the Beatles!" Will tells his students as he walks into the choir room.

Everyone is whooping.

"We're leaving the mop-tops behind and moving into their experimental years. Now, the Rubber Soul album marked a turning point for the group, where they literally and figuratively let their hair down. Now, the Beatles were the biggest musical act in the world. They could have remained in their comfort zones, but instead, they risked everything to explore new musical worlds. They had something important to say, and they weren't going to let something as silly as the fear of failure get in their way." Will says.

Sue starts talking over the P.A. system. "Good afternoon, McKinley High. This year, the proms are being fused into one giant Brundleprom. And now for the moment that will crush 99% of your misguided views about your own popularity. Here are your nominees for Prom King and Queen. First, here are your nominees for Prom King: Blaine Anderson... Mohamed Omar, Artie Abrams... "Stoner" Brett Bukowski." Sue announces.

Sam deflates. "Wait, I-I really didn't get nominated for king?"

"And now onto the Queen. Kitty Wilde..." Sue continues.

"But I'm a sophomore." Kitty comments.

"...Aimee Ryan... Jordan Stern. And, inexplicably, Tina Cohen-Chang." Sue finishes.

"Yes! Yes!" Tina cheers.

"Congratulations Tina." Violet says.

"Yes! Yes! Oh, my God, yes!" Tina continues to cheer.

"Six of you will be disappointed." Sue comments.

"Even though I'm not nominated, it's such an honor to be going to prom with a potential queen." Sam tells Tina.

Tina's smile fades. "Oh... Sorry, Sam. It was so nice of you to offer to go with me, but I'm going to have to decline your invitation."

"But you already accepted." Sam says.

"Yeah, Tina, this is very uncool." Blaine states.

"Losing is uncool. I need to maximize my odds of taking the crown, so I think I'm going to go with a group of single gals to corner the dejected wallflower vote. And I am going for it. This is my chance to be bigger than Jesus. So can I count on all your votes?" Tina asks the glee club.

"You've got mine. Besides, I've got more shots at Prom Queen." Kitty says.

"It's Tina's time." Marley says.

"I agree." Unique states.

Violet shakes her head at Tina. "Can't believe you dropped Sam right at prom week. It's just sad Tina."

Violet has been preparing for prom the entire week. Right now she's having a mani-pedi, and it's the day before prom. She also has her prom dress and accessories to accompany said dress. Kitty and Carole are getting their nails done with her.

"Thanks for coming, guys. I appreciate the company." Violet says as she's getting her pedicure.

Kitty smiles from the seat next to her. "Are you kidding? I love getting a mani-pedi. Especially since I'm getting one with a friend." She tells Violet.

Carole nods. "I haven't gotten a mani-pedi for a while. It's nice to have a girl around the house to do girl things with." She tells her daughter-in-law.

Violet smiles more. "I'm so excited for prom. I'm going to have one of the best nights of my life with my friends, and I'm going to my senior prom with my husband. I couldn't ask for a better week."

She couldn't wait for tomorrow.

It was the night of prom.

Violet was finishing her makeup in her room. Her hair was curled, and she honestly looked like a princess that came straight out of a Disney movie.

"Violet? Your date's here!" Carole calls from downstairs.

Violet smiles as she stands up and walks out of her room. She makes her way to the staircase to see Kurt standing a few feet away, all dressed up in a tux.

"You look... absolutely incredible right now." Kurt tells her.

Violet smiles. "Thank you. You look very handsome."

Kurt smiles as he kisses her cheek before putting her corsage on her wrist.

Carole and Burt smile at the two. "You two look amazing. Now it's time for some prom pictures." Carole says.

Kurt and Violet take a few prom pictures before they both got into Kurt's car.

Kurt drives to McKinley with Violet in the passenger seat.

"Are you excited for your senior prom?" Kurt asks.

Violet smiles. "Of course I am. I'm even more excited because I'm going with my amazingly talented husband."

Ryder, Jake, Unique and Marley are performing 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.'

After the four finish, the crowd claps.

"Congratulations, New Directions, on accomplishing the impossible: you've made me hate The Beatles." Sue says.

Sue continues after a short period of awkward silence. "Your nominations for Prom King are: Stoner Brett, Blaine Anderson, Artie Abrams, and that Radical Cleric kid."

The four prom king nominees make their way onstage.

"And now your nominees for Prom Queen: Neck-brace Cheerio, Asian number one, Kitty I-forget-your-last-name, and... some other chick." Sue comments.

The four prom queen nominees make their way onstage.

"And now here's the moment you've all been waiting for because your lives are so devoid of meaning something like this seems very important. This can't be right. Okay, what the hell do I care, huh? Your Prom King and Prom Queen are... Stoner Brett and Tina Cohen-Chang." Sue announces.

Tina and Brett are coronated. Violet and Kurt cheer until Kitty screams.

"No!"

Tina is given the ultimate slushee. At prom. In front of the whole school.

Someone pulled a Carrie on Tina.

Violet's covering her mouth in shock. Kurt's eyes are wide.

A Cheerio by the name of Bree starts laughing, and pretty soon, most of the school is laughing at Tina. Tina runs out of the gym, and all of the New Directions — including Kurt — follow Tina to the choir room.

They were all worried about Tina.

Everyone rushes into the choir room.

"We need to get you out of those wet clothes and into something dry." Marley says.

"Just leave me like this!" Tina states. She's sobbing.

Everyone looks downcast.

"I swear, I just thought for one lousy night of my life, I could be that girl. But who am I kidding? I'm not that girl, and I will never be that girl!" Tina says as she starts walking away.

"Tina, where are you going?" Sam asks.

"I'm going home, Sam!" Tina answers.

"Okay, Tina, stop. You have two choices, and whichever one you pick, we will be supportive." Violet tells her friend.

"But we can either drive you home, or we can clean you up, and you can go back out there and own that prom. This is your prom, Queen T." Blaine tells Tina.

"I can't go back in there. I don't even have a dress to wear." Tina remarks.

"You can have mine." Kitty offers.

"Or mine." Violet says.

"Or mine." Marley adds.

"Or mine. Although it would be a crime to break this look." Unique says.

"Come on, Tina. We're all with you. You want to be that girl? Then go be that girl." Blaine says.

Blaine begins playing 'Hey Jude' on the piano, and the New Directions sing while the girls help Tina get changed into Kitty's prom dress.

Tina walks back into the gym with the New Directions behind her, watching in the audience as she stands at the microphone.

"I'm Tina Cohen-Chang. I accept your crown! Long live prom!"

Everyone cheers for Tina.

Prom really is one of the most magical nights of the year.

Violet gets a call from Kurt the next day right before glee practice.

"Hey baby. What's going on?" Violet asks her husband.

"I can't even tell you. Rachel! Tell Violet right now!" He says to her sister.

"Violet? Are you there?!" Rachel asks, sounding excited.

Violet smiles. "I'm right here Rachel."

"I got the role of Fanny Brice! I'm going to play Fanny in Funny Girl!" Rachel states.

Violet's eyes and smile widen. "Oh my God! Rachel, I'm so proud of you. I'd love to talk more but I gotta go to glee practice. I'll call you guys later okay? I love you Rachel."

"I love you too Violet. I'll talk to you later." Rachel says and they hang up.

Violet is so proud of Rachel. It's been her dream to be on Broadway. Now, her dream is coming true.

Rachel Berry is going to be Fanny Brice.
